How To Be Your Own Lover After A Breakup

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Coaching my 19-year-old daughter for the past four months after a damaging breakup has brought the anguish and heartbreak to my door. When we don't feel loved by our partner, we feel inadequate. When we face rejection, betrayal or abandonment in our relationship, how can we take care of ourselves?

First of all, you must know that once love exists it can never be taken away, no matter what another believes. Love is. Love is energy, not an emotion. Loving yourself through the aftermath takes compassion, gentleness and acceptance.

You Are Enough!

No matter what happens in life, you are already enough. You are whole and complete. There is nothing to do, nothing to change, nothing to eradicate. You are enough. When we focus on the pain, what went wrong, trying to be a Monday morning quarterback, rehashing all that you should have done, and asking yourself why only serves to make you feel worse.

You Are Loved

Love exists as a vibrational energy. Love is in every plant, tree, a blade of grass, molecule, atom and breath you take. Breathe in love. The Divine loves you. Source energy loves you. The angels love you. The plants and trees love you. You are important on this planet.

You Are Unique

Trying to be different to please someone else means you aren't you. Be the best version of you that you can. Don't apologize for being you. You have your talents, abilities, and personality. You may be quirky like me, maybe even a little bit weird, that's okay. Be YOU! Be yourself fully. Speak your truth. Allow your authentic voice to speak. Speak your personal truth. There is no need to change who you are for another, it only weakens your power.

Be Gentle

Often we can be our worst critic. Harsh words or thoughts directed towards yourself for what you did or didn't do are not loving. Soften your gaze when you look at yourself. Hold yourself in a loving, gentle energy of love. Know you did the best you could. Be kind. Be loving and be gentle to you.

Look For The Silver Lining

When we feel damaged, broken or hurt it is easy to blame and feel that the breakup and even relationship was a waste of time. Nothing is a waste of time. You learned something from this experience. There is always a gift and a lesson. Look under the pile of crap for the gift. It is in there. Find it. Write about it, but love yourself through the process.
Love Is Always Present

No matter whether you have been told that you are not loved by your partner, or whether you have been cheated on, there is still love there. Love cannot end. It exists. Anger may mar the feeling of love. Betrayal may make you feel hurt, angry, broken. Once love
Is shared between two people it is always there. Even in death love remains. When I read The Akashic Records for others, I feel the love between two people. I also feel the love that Source energy has for you. It is tremendous and unending. Know you are loved.

Focus

I noticed with my daughter that her boyfriend telling her he didn't love her was her total focus. When I tapped into the energy he was holding, I felt anger. Anger was his focus. However, under the anger was love. Deep, unending love. Have you ever noticed after your anger clears you still feel love? It is because it is always present. No matter what is said. You always have a choice. What you choose to focus your attention, however, is what forms your world and beliefs. Choose to focus on being enough. Focus on thoughts that empower you, and make you feel whole, rather than broken.

Healing Mantras

Your broken damaged heart is real. You may feel damaged beyond belief. I feel for you. There are several things you can do to help your body-mind-spirit feel less broken. Mantras heal the mind. They also shift your heart. They may sound simple but have great power. Here are a few to repeat slowly when you are meditating, first wake up or right before sleep. Using mantras when your mind is in neutral allows them to slip into your unconscious mind that is the software for your life creating your outer world.

  • I am loved
  • I am safe
  • I am secure
  • I love me
  • I am whole
  • I am perfect
  • I am powerful
  • I am strong
  • I am harmonious
  • I am loving
  • I am happy
  • I am big, not small
  • I am powerful, not weak
  • I am beautiful
  • I am loved

I have been where you are. I know how betrayal feels. I know how it feels to be heartbroken and an emotional mess. I have tremendous compassion for you. An energy clearing can shift you within one hour. An Akashic Record reading and healing can allow you to feel deeply loved immediately. Just having one session can give you clarity, lift the darkness and negativity from your soul to help you feel more alive, focused, centered and loved. Without Vulnerability There is No Love

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

When we are young and our heart's are pure, we have the ability to open up easily and allow someone in. As we experience hurt, betrayal, abandonment, lying, cheating or abuse, we begin to shut our hearts down. When our hearts are closed we begin to turn away opportunities to experience wide-eyed wonder and amazement, because we are so afraid of being hurt.

The older we get, if we have lived fully, we may have lost count of the number of painful experiences in relationships we have had. If we were put down, emotionally abandoned or betrayed these experiences jade us. Friends and family can also betray us and cause us painful experiences. Our tendency is to only allow someone in so far, protecting our hearts from further hurt. The problem is that we are not loving fully and we certainly are not thriving.

I know first-hand what betrayal, rejection and abuse can do. Each time someone puts you down, a little love is chipped away. Over time, you may feel that there is no love left. Sometimes we become hardened or sceptical that anyone could really love us, without hurting our hearts. Many married people stay together, but separate from their spouses, living an almost robotic existence. Married, but not loving each other.

All You Have To Do Is Choose

All it takes is one person with the desire to repair the relationship, or get assistance from an outside source, like me. Remember you can't solve a problem with the same mind-set that created it. Having an outsider guide the two of you through the process of forgiveness and letting go of the past, you can move into the present.

Wounded People Hurt Others

When we are hurting we cause pain to those closest to us. We lash out - even react emotionally to those that love us. Those who are closest seem to get hit the hardest. Sometimes, we are actually daring someone to love us

Look Inside

There was love there once. It is still there, under the hurt, the painful words, bleached clothing or damaged hearts. Our relationships are all about us. Our partners reflect back to us what is going on inside us. If we have conflict in our relationships, it is not
that we are a victim. We have internal conflict. We are at war with ourselves. Believe me, I have years of personal experience with internal conflict. My relationships involved warring, arguing and unrest. I did not recognize that I had an internal battle raging within me.

We Attract What We Are

If we are in fear, we attract relationships where we will find many things to be afraid of. If we are afraid of anger, we will attract partners who rage and yell. If we have low self esteem, we will attract others who may be addicted, lie or cheat on us, or abuse us in some way, because we feel unworthy of love.

Love Takes Risk

To love fully, you have to allow yourself to risk everything. I recently met a man who wanted to date me, but wouldn't tell me his last name. He had been wounded and had something to hide. You can't fall in love if you won't allow someone to know who you are. Allowing yourself to be vulnerable takes courage, but is so worth it when love arrives on your doorstep. Without vulnerability you are not allowing the opportunities in the universe in. You are saying a very clear, "No, not yet." When you do, love will allude you.

Take The First Step

Hire me to coach you through becoming vulnerable and allowing love in. I will lovingly and compassionately guide you through processes that will heal your damaged beautiful heart and lead you back to the love that you truly are. Your radiance will shine through again, as you connect with your True Self. I love you already! Allow your light to shine, stand up and be all you truly are. You already have what you need inside you. I just help you remember.

She guides you lovingly to see the truth of who you are so that you can allow love to flow and your radiance to shine. When you lovingly accept yourself the way you are, everything in the world is brighter, people will be attracted to you because you radiate love back to them. You will find joy living in the present.

The Heart's Intuitive Intelligence

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

The Scientists at The Institute of Heart-Math have done some amazing work to shed light on the power of the human heart.

The Institute of Heart-Math is an international non-profit organization that works to help people live consciously from their hearts, rather than their minds at home, school and play. They have some amazing tools and workshops to help us do just that. This study has proven that the magnetic field created by our hearts is far more powerful than that of the brain.

The Torus Pattern that our hearts send out is like a beacon into the universe.

Every thought we think, every feeling we feel is sent out from us into the Universe. The earth is surrounded with consciousness. This field is filled with everyone's thoughts, feelings and emotions. Each time there is a riot, an argument between two people those emotions are emitted and sent out into the soup of thoughts and emotions that surround us. Conversely when loving thoughts are sent out by a group, as in prayer the consciousness of the planet is positively affected.

It has been thought for decades that the human brain was the most
powerful organ in the human body. This study proves otherwise. The human heart creates an electromagnetic field. When a fetus begins to develop, it is the heart that is first developed, not the
brain. The heart is an electromagnetic broadcasting device that sends signals to the cells of the body as to how the baby will develop.

According to neurocardiologists 60 - 65 percent of the cells in the heart are neuron cells, not muscle cells. The studies that they have done show that the heart works similar to the brain, and is in some ways superior to the brain. 20 days after conception, the heart begins to function. The brain does not begin to function until 90 days after conception.

The heart gives us universal characteristics and the brain provides personal characteristics. Since the heart gives us universal characteristics and is the key to bonding with others, listening to our hearts, rather than our minds will create more peace, love, compassion and understanding in our world.

What we feel is transmitted out of our hearts into the universe. It brings back to us energy that matches how we feel. When we are angry we attract angry people. When we are compassionate and loving, we attract compassionate and loving people.

Our Auric Field

What the scientists found is that our emotions are encoded into our magnetic fields. By shifting our emotions and how we feel we change what is coded into our field. Have you ever met someone and instantly taken a dislike to them? Or have you ever met someone and felt an instant connection with them? You like the way they are coded. It feels good to you. Which is why we want to be expressing happiness, joy and gratitude, because these emotions change the coding of our magnetic field.

Trust Our Hearts - Not Our Minds

What all of the spiritual teachers teach is living in our hearts, rather than our minds. We do this because our mind is ego based. Our hearts are connected with the universe. Hearts are what connect you and I together. We are all interconnected, brothers and sisters. We are all part of the whole. When we connect with our hearts we recognize the divinity in our brothers and sisters and see the love between us, rather than the hate. It is this connection we need to focus on and expand. Connecting with our hearts and trusting our hearts to know what is best for us takes trust.

Building trust can be as easy as trusting your body. Trusting your gut instinct. I recommend that you ask questions. Questions will bring you guidance. Rather than making a statement - will only make you right.

We can tell we are in our heads and minds when we use phrases like, "I have to FIGURE OUT........" Figuring out things is not what you want to do. Trusting your heart, following your heart and trusting the guidance you receive is the way to go. Often we choose an ego-based decision and end a relationship because we are either afraid of opening up, or we are angry. Either way, our ego is running the show. When your heart is trusted, you will follow your desire. Your heart knows what it wants. All you have to do is learn to trust.

Broken Hearts Are Real

There are many things that break our hearts. Having a loved one die before their time, is one of the most heart-breaking events that we can experience. I recently spoke to my dear friend, Diana Davis'
mother. Diana left her body September 22nd, 2012. She was one of the most lovely women I knew. She was a fellow healer, and the reason I began doing energy healing. She held the workshops at her home in North Georgia.

Bonnie talked to me about two weeks ago and recounted the last hours of Diana's life. She and I cried together while she told me that they could not regulate Diana's heart beat and blood pressure. Diana could not speak, because she was on life support, but was able to send a message through her eyes to both her mother and her son Forrest before she passed. She told Forrest she loved him through her eyes. Diana shared intense emotion through her eyes with her mother as well. Bonnie told Diana she would make sure Forrest would be well taken care of. Forrest was 16 at the time. Bonnie was heartbroken afterwards, understandably. Her life has not been the same.

About a year later she was rushed to the hospital because one of the two ties that hold the heart in place in the chest cavity, had been literally broken. Her heart was truly broken from the experience of grief of her daughter's death.

When my beloved, John died, my acupuncturist made a house call. He told me had I not had acupuncture to clear the blockage, I would have most likely had a heart attack. My heart was broken also. Time does not heal all wounds. Our inner work is what does the healing.

Bad Marriages - Cause Heart Disease and Heart Attacks in Women

A recent study by Michigan State University has found that older women that stay in bad marriages have a higher risk and incidence of heart disease and heart attacks than those who are in happy
marriages. This study found that women who remain long after they recognize they are unhappy are at a higher risk. Men however, were less affected. The study looked at couples in their 50's and up.

Men's health was less affected by their bad marriages than women's. Why? Because women take care of their husbands, watching their diets when they are sick. Men do not take care of their wives in the same way. In fact, in many marriages once a woman gets sick, some husbands leave. Which is another reason that women who file for divorce are less likely to remarry. They are not inclined to find another man to take care of.

Dr. David Cziner of West Med in White Plains, NY, also cited a phenomenon called takotsubo cardiomyopathy, also known as broken-heart syndrome, is much more common in women than it is in men.

Remember Your Emotions Are Like A Magnet

The bottom line is what we feel, we send out. What we send out comes back to us. Think of what you want. Then think of what message you are beaming out through your heart megaphone into the Universe. If you want to be loved. Then LOVE yourself. If you
want to be accepted, then accept yourself. If you want peace, then find peace within. It all comes down to us. How we think, feel and treat ourselves. If you work tirelessly, giving to everyone but yourself, you are not loving yourself. You are doing to try to manipulate people to show love to you. If you need constant pats on the back telling you what a wonderful job you have done - you  need to take a look in the mirror. If you need constant validation from others, it is because you don't love and accept you.

Love begins and ends with ourselves.

Dating Before The Divorce

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

If it looks like a duck, and walks like a duck, it's probably a duck!

If it looks like a duck and walks like one, it probably is one

Men and women are sometimes choosing to begin dating before their divorce is final. What are the pitfalls of dating before you are divorced? What is the downside of dating someone who is not yet divorced?

You've met someone. They are delightful, attractive, kind, even loving, but they aren't divorced - yet. When someone is thinking about divorce or involved in a divorce, they are clearly emotionally unavailable to you. They are dealing with issues every day of hurt, remorse, guilt, and have not begun to heal from the marriage that has not yet ended.

They Are Leaving Their Spouse

Humans have a tendency to believe what we hear rather than paying attention to what we see. We want to be loved. We want to believe that things are a certain way. However, if a divorce has not been filed - there is no divorce. Your boyfriend, or girlfriend is legally MARRIED. The courts consider a person married until a divorce is final. You are having an affair with a married person. Which means you are out of integrity.

Divorce takes time. There usually is property to sell, CD's to divide, furniture and often children involved. Settling a divorce can take years, especially when there is property or minor or children. The average divorce takes two years complete. Healing does not really begin until after the divorce is final. Even if the person has been dating all this time, real healing does not happen until the reality of the divorce sets in.

Even if their intention is to leave their spouse you could be waiting years for this process to be complete. It is unlikely that they will be emotionally available to you completely until after they heal.

Healing From The Hurts

Dating a man or woman that is going through divorce means that you will need to be compassionate, understanding and patient with them while the discuss their hurts, from what they are experiencing. You could even become the distraction, from their woes. Count on the subject of their soon-to-be ex to come up in conversation often. They need a shoulder to lean on, cry on and someone to make them feel loved, appreciated and cared for.

How Long Does It Take?

Professional therapists, psychologists and psychiatrists say it takes one year for every year married to heal from a divorce. In other words, if you have been married 20 years, you need 10 years to heal. From personal experience, I had 10 years between marriages. In retrospect, that was not enough time, as I still attracted similar people to the one I had left. Patterns need to be cleared and changed. If not, the tendency in humans is to attract someone just like the one you divorced. You may find they have a different face, but the relationship is very similar.

Men Are More Likely To Remarry Than Women

Men are much more likely than women to remarry after a divorce for several reasons. Men feel they will have more regular sex when married. Men are used to being taken care of, often having their laundry done, meals prepared and sometimes even the yard work done by their wife. Women on the other hand are more likely to remain single after finding their new found freedom for the opposite reasons that men tend to remarry. Women are often fed up with taking care of a man and prefer the freedom of single hood.

The Downside

  1. The person you are dating may never get divorced.
  2. Because they are still married, they are really not present with you.
  3. They cannot commit because they are already in a committed relationship with someone else. See the dilemma?
  4. There is no guarantee that they won't reconcile.
  5. If they are having an affair with you, what makes you think they won't be unfaithful to you also.
  6. You can't completely trust someone who has had an affair.
  7. They may say they are sleeping on the couch, but they are still co-habitating. They had sex before. They know each other intimately. The chances are they will have sex again, and again and again before they divorce.
  8. You are out of integrity. Since integrity is really all we have got, this is a really big deal.
  9. There is karma. If you are sleeping with a married person, the chances are that this karma will come back around and bite you in the butt when you really don't want it to.
  10. You are providing a distraction for them during a difficult time. You are distracting them from their pain, their problems and what they really need to be focusing on: getting out of their marriage.

The Upside

  1. You have a duck. Well sort of, you are really sharing a duck.
  2. You will have lots of free time.
  3. You won't have to worry about spending time with your boyfriend or girlfriend's family during the holidays because they will be with their family.

Don't get me wrong. They may be a really nice person. However, you could be waiting until pigs fly, or the sun burns itself out before their marriage if final - if it ever is. Many people SAY they are getting a divorce and never leave their spouse. Think carefully. Choose wisely.

Married Looking For An Affair?

If you are married and looking longingly at someone else, you are not fulfilled and happy with you. Until you are happy with yourself, no other person will change the way you feel about yourself and your life. You are the source of your pain and suffering not another person. Therefore, getting right with you - becoming happy and fulfilled FIRST is imperative, or you will do what I did and have four marriages and divorces before you come to a place of complete loving acceptance and total fulfillment on your own.

Happiness is a choice. It does not come from another person. It comes from you. It comes from you recognizing your soul purpose and mission in this life, giving back in some way, knowing without a doubt who you are and what you are here to do. I can help you come to this place. I did it and now I help others do the same. When you feel completely fulfilled on your own, you can take your time, date, or stay single. You will be happy no matter what. You don't NEED to have someone. Certainly you can choose to, but you won't be needy.

The Flip Side of Betrayal

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

We love to be in our misery, complaining about what our ex did to us. Some of us never get over our broken hearts. But how much of what we think happened really did? What if there was another side to this story of woe, pain and sorrow? What if something WE DID precipitated our partner's cheating? In this article I will answer your questions about what happens energetically and why healing a broken heart is so important.

How long does it take to get over betrayal, or do we ever?

How can we grieve, let go and heal from the heartache of being cheated on?

Today, we can marry, divorce and think we will never see our ex again, then WHAMO! FaceBook cynically delivers a photo of our ex, clad in a suit with his new bride right to our home, front and center on our screen. We can't ignore something that is put in our face, or can we?

Ignoring The Past

We can't ignore the past, but we can heal it, forgive and release the pain that it cause. The issue is that most of us, would rather stuff than release. Stuffing causes our hearts to shut down and stops us from loving fully and completely in the present.

Grieving

Everyone is different. Some people grieve till the day they die. Some people grieve until they meet another warm body in a bar and have sex in their car. Some people grieve, think they are done and then wonder why they feel so cold and disconnected towards others. Some people think they don't need to grieve and instead have a grudge F***K. Yes, we know who you are. This is not grieving, this is trying to get even.

Bitching And Complaining About Your EX On A Date?

I have heard of women (and some men) already dating and complaining to their dates about how horrible their ex was. They might even recount all the legal battles and support payments they are required to pay. They may complain about what they are NOT getting. All these are signs that you are not ready for a new relationship. Your date is not interested in hearing about your tales of woe and suffering that your ex caused you. Hire a coach. Move through your pain and sadness in a healthy way. Then and only then, begin to date.

Getting in a relationship too soon can lead to more heartache down the road. Eventually, the grief will surface when you least expect it and you could be crying during sex, or emoting while purchasing your next wedding dress or tuxedo. If grief and resentment is not released, it may cause you gallstones, kidney stones, a heart attack or cancer.

Grieving involves tears, releasing anger, (in positive ways) it involves forgiveness of ourselves and the other person. If you can't forgive your past partner, you should not be dating. All your frustration, hatred, anger and resentment will come out, when you least expect it; and be leveled at your new love. Is that what you want?

Lacking Compassion?

When our hearts are completely open, we feel compassion towards others. When they are closed, we feel cold, like a steel door is protecting our hearts. We might not see it ourselves, till a loved one asks us a question. "What is that about? Why aren't you kinder to (your girlfriend, spouse, puppy, kitten, neighbor, friend, lover, child - fill in the blank)?"

We can't feel boundless love when our heart is in knots

You may think you are ready for another relationship. You may want to bury your sadness in the breasts of a beautiful woman, or the strong chest of a gorgeous hunk of a man. However, if you have not forgiven your past partner and yourself, you are not nearly ready.

Keeping Love At Bay

You will not be able to feel the depths of real love. You may be IN LIKE, but you will never be in LOVE.

Married But Not In Love

Often we get married because we think it's time. We may have been dating for five or more years, it seems the logical next step. Length of time in a relationship is not a determining factor of when you need to be married or committed. Sometimes we get married because of some social construct. I know of many people who thought they should marry, but were not in love with the person they married. Eventually, one or both of you will wake up feeling disillusioned and or cheated.

Emotionally Unavailable People

People who are emotionally unavailable are this way for a reason. They have been cheated on, traumatized in some way, or abused. Their hearts are protected, not open. It is as if a steel garage door is blocking their heart, with a second layer of bricks, mortar and concrete covering it. These people may never open their hearts. It is possible, but it takes courage to tap into the pain that shut their hearts in the first place. Once a core piece has been bored out through release work, this begins to grow into a larger and larger area that is open. With courage this block can be completely eradicated. You have to have the courage to step into the pain, rather than run away from it.

Seeing The Energetic Block

It is much easier to see this block in another person, than to witness it in ourselves. If you are attracting people who are emotionally unavailable, it is because your heart is blocked and shut down. When our hearts are shut, we will not be able to feel the pain and suffering of others. We will feel disconnected from it. We might get a hint of it, but brush it off and move away from other's pain.

Compounding Blocks of Grief

Some of us have had more than one relationship. If we have a history of stuffing our emotions, we have stuffed the emotions of each relationship into the cells of our body and hearts. These blocks of grief create a stuck mess of emotions that can't move. Many people can't cry. There is a reason for this. They are so blocked with past hurts that have not been dealt with, that their hearts are nailed, concreted and locked up tighter than a safe in Chase bank! To think that you can be in a healthy relationship with a heart that is locked tight is like thinking that you could be a virgin again! You are basically faking it.

How I Help Clients Heal Their Blocks

There are several ways I help people heal from the pain of betrayal. The first is to acknowledge that there are two sides to every story. We had a part in the betrayal as well. None of us are victims. We have to take responsibility for our part in the cheating. This can be difficult if you feel you were completely blameless, and had nothing to do with the other person's choosing to cheat.

If you talk to both parties, you will find that there was an underlying cause. A woman emasculating the man with control, manipulation or chiding words. It could be a man ridiculing, using sarcasm, put downs or being downright cold and abusive. There are many reasons people cheat. Remember you were not alone in this relationship. Just as you had your story or woe, so did the other person. Compassion for the other person helps you see the other side.

Ask Questions

Have a conversation with yourself. Put yourself back in the place of the relationship. What was going on? Were you manipulating? Were you controlling. Did you make your partner feel small? Did you hurt them with your words? Did you avoid sex with them? Did you avoid intimacy? Did you make excuses for not getting close to them? Were you afraid? What were you afraid of? Taking responsibility for your part helps to begin to break down the barriers you have created in your heart.

Forgive

I usually recommend that you forgive yourself first. However, when we tap into the pain we caused another, this may help us to cry, feel empathy for the other person and recognize that we weren't blameless. We may not have cheated, but we did SOMETHING that made them feel less than whole.

Forgive with the Ho'oponopono Prayer

Spend 20 minutes or so repeating the prayer and telling yourself and your inner child what you forgive yourself for. Forgive yourself for putting your inner child in harm's way. Forgive yourself for your choices. Once you begin things will begin to flow. Words will spill out of your mouth as the tears come. I like to walk and move while I do the prayer. This allows me to move the emotions more easily.

I'm Sorry
Please forgive me
I love you
Thank you

Forgive them for turning away from you.
Forgive them for shutting down their heart to you.
Forgive them for not being THE ONE.
Forgive them for not being faithful.
Forgive them for hurting you.
Forgive them for not cherishing you.

Forgive yourself for not being what they wanted you to be.
Forgive yourself for pushing them into some situation they didn't want.
Forgive yourself for causing them financial pain.
Forgive yourself for thinking you made a mistake.
Forgive yourself for causing yourself heartbreak.
Forgive yourself for hurting the other in some way.

Allow Yourself to FEEL

Blocked emotions can cause pneumonia, heart attack, cancer and other illnesses. Allow yourself to cry. If you can't cry, scream.

Mountain Top

In Colorado, I take clients up to the top of a mountain at daybreak or sunset and do cathartic screaming. This uncorks the emotion that is hidden under the anger.

Desert Stillness

In California, I take clients out into the stillness and privacy of the desert.

Cathartic screaming uncorks the emotions stuffed under the pain. It is far easier to feel anger than pain. Anger masks what is under- neath. We can feel resentment easily. We can be pissed off - easily. We can feel disrespected and then anger readily because we are afraid of the pain. The pain is what keeps us stuck. We sit on the threshold of clarity, and an open heart because we just don't want to feel the anguish again. We have to transmute these feelings into compassion and forgiveness then release.

Each of us is treading water in life. Every event that takes place helps us to understand ourselves better. These events are not meant to destroy us. They are happening to show us who we are. When we can get beyond the pain and suffering we move into radiating the deep LOVE that is at the core of our being.

Love is Always The Answer

Forgiveness is key. Holding resentment and anger towards the other is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die. Forgiveness happens without an apology. It happens without condoning the other person's actions. It happens with compassion for ourselves.

Loving yourself enough to let go of your pain will expand you. Loving yourself enough to move through your suffering to the other side of emotional freedom will change your life. Without letting go, you cannot expect to ever love fully or trust another again.

Live Longer With Forgiveness

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

We have heard it from Masters, teachers, ministers and saints. Now Scientists are talking about forgiveness and longevity in the same sentence!

Yes, forgiveness does help you live longer. Why? Because holding onto resentment causes cancer and other diseases. When we don't forgive a person, it harms us NOT THEM! Forgiveness helps us heal our broken hearts. Forgiveness heals us from the inside. I helps us feel happier, eliminating resentment, hatred and anger.

I have had a lot to forgive over the years. I have spent oodles of time forgiving my abusers, ex-husbands, and even myself. Forgiveness work is part of my private coaching and Love Yourself Fearlessly course, because it helps you let go of the past. When we continue sending daggers, seething thoughts of anger and resentment to someone, it comes back to bite us in the breast, colon or heart.

We have to learn to let go, so that we can move forward. When we focus on what others have done to us endlessly without letting go, we are still attached to them, with chords and emotional ties. The anger and resentment eats us up inside, causing an acidic environment where cancer and other diseases grow.

The forgiveness work I do involves the inner child. Many do inner child work, I feel mine is different, because it involves emotion. We have to let go through our emotion. Emotion is held in our cellular memory. The inner child healing allows the deepest level of forgiveness, clearing out the cellular memory.

I recently worked with a client who was abused. They told me they had done inner child work. When we did it anyway, I was told that they had never felt the movement that occurred doing this work with me.

You Can Do This On Your Own

For those who would like to let go of their past hurts and forgive on their own, I recommend the Ho'oponopono Prayer. It is a Kahuna healing prayer that is simple but powerful.  Kahuna healers have used this for thousands of years. It works even with physical harm, not just emotional harm. I have found that the simplest of modalities can cause the deepest healing.

I am sorry
Please Forgive me
I love you
Thank you

Saying this prayer in your head doesn't cut it. You have to tap into your heart. Tap into the feeling by focusing on the person you want to forgive. Feel it. Mean it when you say it. Always begin any kind of healing work with YOU. You need to forgive yourself first, before forgiving anyone else.

What do you have to forgive yourself for? How about allowing your little child inside to be hurt? How about asking for these things to occur in your life so that you could clear it once and for all. This can be a tough pill to swallow for many that were tormented by molestation, abuse or other trauma.

Our Soul Contracts

Before our soul incarnates we meet with our High Self Committee and our team. Maybe even the Ascended Masters, your guides and God. We decide what we want to clear up in our next incarnation. Usually, we ask for a hard road so that we will evolve quickly and clear up a lot of karma. What we forget when we live here on this earth plane is that we contracted with people to hurt us, so that we could grow, recognize the power within and become who we truly are.....  a powerful, creator made in His image. What does this mean? That we are and have the power of God within when we clear the crap, lack, selfishness, hatred, and negativity from our souls. We just have forgotten who we truly are.

Jennifer is a Love and Sex Coach, Hypnotherapist, energy healer and an author of two books, Orgasm for Life and Odyssey Victim to Victory. Her website is JenniferElizabethMasters.com

She has been on radio and you tube talking about her books, her life and how she healed from abuse and molestation. These events caused deep trauma and difficulties with men in her adult life. Healing form abuse has led Jennifer to assist and empower women and men to love themselves fully, first so that they have the love to give another. Till we love ourselves completely, we tend to look outside of ourselves for love, acceptance and confidence. This does not work for long. Our relationships will be challenging, often going from one marriage to the next looking for love and acceptance outside of ourselves - which is what Jennifer did. She has learned that the experiences that are the most profound are not necessarily the most fun, but give us the greatest self knowledge, wisdom and understanding.

How Can I Learn To Trust?

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Trust - Jennifer Elizabeth Masters
You cannot trust in others what you do not trust in yourself. William Dargin II

Loss of trust in others can lead to us shutting down and locking our hearts up in a jar so that nothing can enter. The problem with protecting ourselves in this way also means nothing GOOD enters either. Fear blocks us from falling in love, from making friends or having joy. Instead of opening up to new experiences we say NO to The Universe. To be able to mend our broken hearts we have to learn to trust ourselves to allow love in.

We protect ourselves from loss, being hurt and having our hearts broken - again. We tend to think that being vulnerable is a dangerous place where no good can come to us. Unfortunately this closing up and shutting down is a faithless, joyless place of fear. We cannot experience the wonders of life when we are shut down. We only experience our ego and life from fear. When we don't trust others, we don't trust ourselves. When we don't trust ourselves our lives are filled with fear, chaos and drama, and we don't feel. Fear blocks us from feeling what our bodies are telling us. Fear blocks us from experiencing the wonder of life. Allowing ourselves to be vulnerable allows love and wonder in.

When we are in fear we try to control our loved ones and everything in our lives. Controlling others does not allow them to be who they are. Instead allow them to BE themselves. Controlling others is a waste of your precious life force energy. Let go of the control. We think we are helping others by controlling them, but we are not.

We often shut down and are unable to take action. Just making the decision to sit quietly and witness what is going on in our body can be enough to stop the craziness and numbing of the fear.

Courage is what gets us beyond being stuck and paralyzed and catalyzes forward movement. Courage is the mastery of fear that gives us the impetus to move through difficult situations in the face of fear. Fear will continue to show up in smaller ways once you master it, but will not continue to control your life.

We are so conditioned to DOING all the time, that we don't stop and just BE. In the doing we fill our lives with mindless and endless tasks that are wasting our precious energy when we realize we didn't listen. We weren't paying attention to all the signs and the guidance. By stopping and asking questions in stillness our body will give us the answers we need, if we listen and feel.

In stillness when the mind is quiet guidance comes through. The difficult thing for most people is the quiet part. Even those who think they can't meditate can sit still in quiet for 10 minutes.

When we are in fear our ego shouts at us. Our bodies feel tight and stressed. Our unconscious mind runs amok. We feel scattered, nervous, or anxious and shut off the true guidance with our fear. We tend to ask others for advice rather than sit quietly in stillness. No one knows better than you what is best for you. Our gut is our best guide. Asking questions and waiting to see how our body feels when we do will give us the answers we need.

To be able to get to the still quiet voice though we have to quiet the ego and stop asking for other's opinions.

Sitting still and meditating helps. Most people are inundated with mind chatter that is so loud that it is difficult to hear guidance. How can we learn to trust ourselves when the voices in our head are screaming not to? Letting your imagination play is part of the process of listening to guidance. Stop listening to the voice that says, "This is stupid. This isn't guidance. You don't get guidance."

Here are some ways to begin to trust yourself. Once you trust yourself you will begin to trust others.

  1. Sit in a quiet peaceful place.
  2. Holding yourself erect, your chin parallel to the ground, without moving your head, look up to your hairline with your eyes. This will quiet your mind.
  3. Breathe in deeply.
  4. Exhale slowly and completely.
  5. Repeat the deep breathing until you feel calm.
  6. If you have a thought just notice the thought, "Oh there's a thought." Let it go. Don't judge it, don't make comments on it, just let it go.
  7. Be kind to yourself. Breathe in love.
  8. Feel your body. Notice your stomach. Is it tight?
  9. Do not judge or criticise yourself.
  10. Relax, breathe.
  11. Ask yourself the following: Am I safe? See what your body says. Am I comfortable? What does your body say? What am I feeling? What feedback is your body giving you. Is your stomach tight? Are you feeling stressed? If so relax your shoulders some more. Relax and breathe. Are you yawning?
  12. Spend 10 - 15 minutes each day like this quietly reflecting on what is going on in your body.
  13. Quiet reflection or meditation can heal, lower stress levels, lower blood pressure and help you feel happier.
  14. While you are sitting quietly notice what you hear. Do you hear another voice?
  15. This is a great time to connect to your guides. Let them know you are open to receive their guidance.
  16. Ask only to be connected to the highest of high, The Divine, God and your guides.
  17. Notice what you are feeling.
  18. Notice anything that you sense, words, pictures or phrases.
  19. Write it down in a journal. Keep track of what comes through each time you sit in silence.

As you sit quietly each day, your confidence will build. You will feel more connected to yourself and The Divine (God). Trust of yourself will continue to grow as you connect to your Divine self or (High Self). Communing in this way with yourself opens you up to receive guidance. Everyone has the ability to do so. We just need to remember.

The Power Of An Open Heart

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

The Power Of An Open Heart

In Love

If you have ever been in love, you have had your heart broken or hurt. When we have expectations in our love relationships we experience disappointment and pain. When we risk it all, we also have the opportunity to have it all. Opening our heart completely to someone can also bring up tremendous fear. Allowing someone to see our vulnerable side and our insecurities can be challenging. When we don't open up completely in love we miss grasping the Holy Grail. Yet even when love, commitment and respect are present in a relationship, we can still get hurt.

Why then do some of us extend the olive branch and try love again and again, when others are too afraid to? It is because it feels so incredible and amazing, that's why. Love simply expands us. We are the better version of ourselves when we are in love. Everything in our lives works better with someone who loves us unconditionally stands by us when we are down. After experiencing the deep connection of a mind, body, spirit relationship we want it again and again!  To be in love and attracted to someone with our pheromones in alignment can gift us with the greatest of experiential highs. This is where the expression, "I saw God!" comes from during sex. The act of love making can awaken our kundalini, enliven us and bring us to ecstasy. Regular sex increases our oxytocin and 30 other feel good hormones that help us maintain optimum health. We were created to fit together like two pieces of a puzzle. To feel shame about something so beautiful, which was given to us by Our Creator is simply misguided. Once experienced, we want to re-create it. Having someone love us back is one of the greatest gifts we humans can experience.

The flip side of ecstasy in love is a broken heart. Sometimes the hurt is so deep that we never know how to get beyond it. Many women live out the last 20 or more years of their lives alone because they simply have been hurt so deeply that they choose to live alone rather than experience deep hurt again.
Ecstasy Through an Open Heart

I am a fearless person and know the power of love that can find us when we least expect it. I have experienced the love of a Twin Flame. He showed up when I was working on myself, and certainly NOT looking for love. When we are looking for love, it alludes us. Why is that? To understand this reality you have to understand the way energy moves. Wherever you focus your attention on a thought the energy about that thought grows. When we keep looking for the love we want, we are recreating lack. We are focusing on the not having of it. I am a fearless person and know the power of love that can find us when we least expect it. To understand this reality you have to understand the way energy moves. Wherever you focus your attention on a thought the energy about that thought grows. When we keep looking for the love we want, we are recreating lack. We are focusing on the not having of it. I have a system that works for helping women find their True Love. It has worked for me 3 times. What I will tell you about this is, if you don't do the work BEFORE you attract your mate you will get the partner that is the exact energetic match for where you are.

The work I speak of is coming into alignment with your True Self (High Self, Divine Self). In the 8 week program we begin to excavate down into your deepest fears about you, life and love. We eliminate them. We decreate them and then we begin a powerful program that allows you fall in love with YOU! When you fall in love with yourself, others can't help falling in love with you also.  What most people do not realize is that their sense of lack of money is a direct reflection of their lack of SELF LOVE. Money is the energy of love. How can you attract money when you don't love you? You are in a state of LACK.

Many of us create steel doors over our hearts because we have had our hearts broken. Breaking down the barriers to love will allow more love in. But you can't love someone more than you love yourself. It all begins with loving you.

You think that you already do. Answer these questions below to find out You

Do you have friends or family members with unfinished business between you? These broken or damaged relationships stop the flow of energy in your own body and can cause illness. Resolving discord in all your relationships helps restore your health and your energy. I can help you with this work also. I teach you tools that clear away the energy of the issue so that you can heal the love between you. You don't even have to talk to the other person to heal the issue.

Why not tell the people in your life how much you love them and let all the rest just dissolve. Is the issue you were upset about still present? Can you let it go? If not, why not? Anytime that you hold resentment or anger on an issue, it creates stress and disease in your body. Forgiveness frees your heart so that you have more space to love yourself and others. You cannot have love without forgiveness.

One of the issues I help my clients with is opening their hearts. Letting go of control and judgment are part of this process. Many of my clients are plagued with issues from old relationships, most all the way back to childhood. The old energy taints present relationships. Healing the patterns from past relationships is part of healing and opening your heart. When you let go of the pain and suffering of the past it is amazing what you can do with today. Letting go of the past frees you and creates more space for love and the infinite possibilities of The Universe.

Are you ready for love? Are you committed to doing whatever it takes to have the love you want? Call or e-mail Jennifer to schedule your DISCOVERY session to find out if Jennifer can work with you. I invite your comments and questions below.
