Is Your Past Heartbreak Preventing You From Having Love?

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

When we begin to date after a breakup, our past hurts remain inside our cellular memory. Emotions of rejection, betrayal, love unreceived, abandonment, anger and even resentment can surface in a new love when there is no reason. We always have choices, selecting the right partner sometimes means going beyond our comfort zone.

The risk is required to experience love again. Sometimes a very beneficial partner shows up, but we reject them due to our patterns from the past, judgment or fear. Let me share my story.

If you have been visiting my blog daily you probably already know my story. I will spare you the painful details. I only mention what is germane to this story. As a child, I was molested many times by four different men.

The first trauma occurred when I was five walking home from school when a neighbor invited me in for candy. Yup, the old candy and little dog trick. He had a Pug. To this day, I can't connect with little Pugs. Though I have done almost thirty-five years of work on abuse, forgiveness work; Comet cleanser and Pugs hold a powerful memory of trauma and memory for me.

Programs Created

Each even we have that is traumatic creates patterns and blocks in our cellular memory. Sexual trauma freezes in the cells creating blocks from fear.

The programs created could mean we keep cycling back to those who have addictive personalities, are alcoholics or abusers. That was the case for me. Unless you were a rageaholic, abuser or alcoholic, or child of an alcoholic, forget it! I wasn't attracted.

My mother had a psychic reading done years ago where the woman told my mother that if there were 50 guys in a room, I would pick the asshole every time! That was my programming.

Clearing Old Patterns And Programming

Fast forward: I did therapy. I went to a hypnotherapist. I became a hypnotherapist. I had energy clearing done. I became a master at energy healing. I cleared myself almost every day for twelve years. I cleared till the cows came home. I perfected this work by doing it on myself.

Behavior Has To Change

Till I began to choose differently, nothing changed. I had to step outside of my comfort zone to someone kind, loving, gentle that felt weird to me energetically because it was different than what I was surrounded by as a child. My current relationship is healthy, balanced and loving. As my resistance came up, I was on the verge of rejecting him several times because it felt so unfamiliar.
I always gave away the men who were most loving, because I was used to addictive or abusive behavior. Though the programs were gone, I had to change my behavior. I had to CHOOSE DIFFERENTLY.

Uncomfortable

One of my clients who has graduated from my program is a producer in Hollywood. She is a beautiful, loving woman. Her father was an alcoholic and emotionally unavailable.

She habitually attracted deadbeats without income, that lied, cheated, were addicted to drugs or alcohol and mooched from her - like her father. It wasn't until I coached her to go beyond her comfort zone and encouraged her to date a man that was kind, loving and healthy did she have a healthy balanced relationship.

Like Grooves In A Record

Our programming creates grooves in our brain like on an old vinyl record. When we keep repeating programs over and over and can't seem to change, we have to reprogram our minds for healthy, balanced, loving relationships. We have to love ourselves enough to choose differently. The grooves deepen each time we repeat a pattern. It takes a lot of effort to go beyond old programming and do create healthy patterns to change the past.

We Need Help

Changing behavior is what I help people do. I offer encouragement, support, and energy clearings of past patterns so that new healthy patterns become dominant programming.

Our Fear From The Past

As we step into new behavior self-sabotaging thoughts, come up telling you "they aren't good for you. You need to end this." It can be quite a fight to resist ditching the good for the old familiar and unhealthy patterns.

It Happened To Me

I had my resistance to come up once I became vulnerable with my partner. I wanted to ditch him because it felt unfamiliar and uncomfortable. I resisted the temptation and walked myself through my old patterns. I saw my pattern of rejecting those who were good for me and opted for the bad boy or abuser.

We Need Help

To move beyond old patterns, we need someone who is grounded and loving to assist us. We need someone to talk us off the ledge when we feel we are in unfamiliar territory. Our unconscious programming tells us the new and unfamiliar is bad, when it's not.

New Horizons and Opportunities For Love

When we open to new opportunities and change direction for ourselves, we can receive the love that is healthy and balanced. If you have patterns of attracting the same type time and again, this is the work I do. We can't do it alone because we opt for the old rather than the unfamiliar.

When our family of origin was dysfunctional, we choose the dysfunctional every time.

As promised, beginning Monday, May 23rd, I am offering eleven lucky people that move quickly an energy session for $75.00 off my regular price. $150.00 for a one-hour energy clearing. This offer will last as long as there is space available. First come, first served! Here is my PayPal link and I will get you scheduled. Either phone or Zoom, which is a video platform.

10 Things Happy People Do Daily That Attract Love

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Envision yourself laying in bed, smiling at your lover wondering what new event the day holds for you. Tap into that expanded feeling of being happy, blissfully in love, and confident that your partner loves you back.

Many women come to me looking for a relationship. The following are issues that come up consistently with women who have difficulty attracting someone to them.

  • they focus on the fear of being hurt abandoned or rejected
  • they think they won't be attractive to men
  • they focus on what is wrong with them or what they want to be different
What I direct women to do is the following:

  1. Know you are unique and special in your way. There is someone for everybody. There is someone who is looking for you right now. You are perfect the way you are. You are worthy of love. You are worthy of having someone to love you. You deserve love.Your perfect match is already out there. Be grateful for him.
  2. Focus on what is wonderful about you. Notice your beautiful eyes, skin, nails, feet, legs, loving heart. Continue to focus on what is good about you every day.
  3. Know your value. When you know your value, you won't allow doors to slam in your face, or people to walk over you. You won't try to be what you think someone else wants. You are confident of who you are and you are the best YOU that you can be.
  4. Don't compare yourself to others. Yes, there will always be someone with better hair, a better body, a smarter brain, more talent. Comparing yourself to someone else makes you feel small and inadequate. Is that what you want? I don't think so. So stop it!
  5. Walk tall. Stand up straight be confident in who you are.
  6. Create happiness. Do things every day that bring you happiness. If it is walking out in nature - get out there as often as you can. Do what brings you joy daily!
  7. Stop. Stop doing things you don't want to do with other people. Stop agreeing to be with people who bring you down or are anchors instead of sails. Stop complaining about not having someone who loves you. Stop complaining about always being alone. Thoughts create and this only confirms you will continue to be alone.
  8. Be present with you. Spend time daily in silence. Sit quietly focusing on love. Love yourself. Know that you are already loved. I love you. The Universe loves you. Nature loves you. The Divine loves you. Instead of worrying about what others think of you, sink inside of you. Spend time with yourself. Enjoy your own company. If you don't like spending time with you, how can you expect anyone else to want to?
  9. Be spontaneous. Do something on the spur of the moment that brings you joy. I started dancing in the desert. Crazy as it sounds it brings me great happiness and bliss. I get exercise and joy dancing with The Divine, the plants, the sun, the moon and the stars.
  10. Love your past. Know that everything that happened thus far was to spur you onto bigger and greater things. Be grateful for what you have experienced as it has prepared you to even more amazing love and experiences. Forgiveness is a part of letting go of the pain, hurt, and suffering of past experiences.
If you are struggling with love, you might want to purchase my Aphrodite Effect program for $98.00. It includes healing your past love story, implementing a new blueprint for expanded love, becoming amazingly irresistible to the opposite sex. You will learn why your relationships have ended, how to be ALL IN, then finally how to Co-create your new love in the last hour of the program.

There are mantras to shift your unconscious programming, a clearing in each hour audio to remove anything that you might have stuck in your energy field, like:

  • hate of men programs
  • love to hate to love to hate programs
  • resistance to love
  • fear of love
  • vows to never love again
  • any self-sabotage

Manifesting Miraculous Moments

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

There is no doubt that at this time of year more than any other,  people are focusing on a multitude of things. When you are driving, walking down stairs or stepping off or over a curb, take care. Keep your wits about you and be aware. Instead be in the moment focused and firmly grounded in the here and now and your holiday and your life will be so much more miraculous.... read on. You may wondering where this rambling is taking you, believe me, you will wind up with miracles if you read through to the end - no sales pitch just "HOW TO DO IT."

Breathe in deeply.....

With all the activities happening, shopping, rushing and multi-tasking we often forget to pay attention. I have known of three car accidents and two stair accidents in the past month. So please be aware, stay grounded and watch what you are doing. When we have too many things going on at once, this is when we become ungrounded, fragmented and unfocused. Just focus on what you are doing when you are doing it. Be aware.

Walking Down Stairs

When carrying something in our hands we often can't see if we have reached the bottom step or not. Accidents happen when you think you have arrived and you have two more steps left. This
occurs when we are daydreaming, or not focusing on the task at hand (yes, one and the same thing). This lack of focus is being autocorrected by The Universe. You will have to focus on what you are doing, stay present, or you will be in danger.

Being In The Now

You may think it is an impossible task to be present and in the now. It is as simple as  focusing on one thing. Focus on the speaker, focus on the task, focus on right here, right now. Don't think of what you should have done, or could have done, or what you wished for that never materialized. All of those thoughts are a waste of time and precious energy. The past is gone. Continuing to worry, fret or even regret will cause you to be stuck in another time. When you are focused on the past, or the future, you miss out on the precious and wonderful moments that are happening right now. When you are elsewhere, you will not be with those who love you and are with you now. They will feel it, even if you think you are doing a great job faking it.

How To Be Present

Breathe in deeply. Notice what your body is feeling right now. Exhale deeply, as you do relax your shoulders that are up around your ears. Notice how you feel in your body. Are you trying to escape the moment? If you are, ask yourself, "What am I afraid of? Is what I am fearing REAL?" Sometimes we are so used to being somewhere else that is where we live and breathe. When we don't love ourselves we often try to escape our emotions. We might even feel uncomfortable in our own skin. The point is that running away causes more pain and suffering because you are in resistance to what is.

Resistance Causes Suffering

When we are fighting what is occurring in the moment, we are resisting. Usually we are in a fight all by ourselves. We think it is the other person, but we are fighting our inner demons, fears or beliefs about ourselves. Relax and breathe. Know you are already enough. You are already loved, accepted and cared for. The earth loves you. The birds love you. The sky loves you. The Universe loves you and God/Divine /Source Energy loves you. You don't have to achieve or be something other than who you are to be loved. It has already happened. It is a DONE DEAL! So stop fighting with yourself. Allow yourself to RECEIVE LOVE.

When I was suffering.....

So unhappy, I rarely smiled....  suffering a lot
I could not feel other's love for me. I was stuck in blame and victimhood. I blamed everyone for my own personal pain. I suffered a lot. I was so wounded from my past, that I could not feel love if it fell on me.

Wounded people hurt others

I was hurting. I often lashed out in anger at my children, husband and parents. It took me a long time to finally accept all of me, release the past events and forgive everyone. When I did, life became so much easier.

Surrender

I was the camelian. I turned into whatever I thought others wanted me to be, in order for them to like me. I did things that I didn't really want to do, because I was unable to say no, thinking they wouldn't like me, or love me if I did. It was not until I let go of trying to be perfect, trying to please everyone and trying to be something other than myself that my pain went away. I let go of it all and surrendered.

Being In The Flow and Manifesting In The Moment

I aligned my will with that of The Divine and began to manifest anything I asked for. Is that a miracle, I feel it is. I began to manifest whatever I asked for immediately - in the same day I asked for it to come into being. That is a freaking miracle I tell you! The secret here is to be in the present. Miracles are manifested when you are thankful for what you have, grounded in the present. When I was told my beloved Colorado was not my home. I listened. I did not fight it. I moved to California. When I did, money was no longer an issue. I aligned my will with that of The Divine. I stopped fighting.

Win-Win Solutions

It took me a while to get this. I thought I did it all. I thought I was the one bringing all this into being. Yes, that is part of it, but the surrender piece is the most important. When we align with the will of God we no longer focus on just us. We focus on the good of the whole. We focus on the cosmic perspective. We are concerned about the planet and all it's people. We look for and ask for WIN-WIN Solutions. When we do, we get all that we desire. Now people come to me asking me to pray for miracles for them.

Scattered Smothered And Covered?

In Georgia, breakfast is served all day 24 hours a day in little hole in the wall diners called, Waffle House. One of their dishes is hash brown potatoes smothered with cheese and who knows what else. I just like the sound of the dish.
It sounds like everything but the kitchen sink, which explains where our minds are when we are unfocused. We are scattered, smothered in tasks, details and covered up with too many projects unfinished. We may be traveling and trying to get laundry, housecleaning and animals taken care of. Whatever you are doing, please take your time, don't rush and be present. Slow down. Breathe.

Love Your Loved Ones

The more present we are in the moment with ourselves, the more present we will be with our loved ones. You can bet, I will be putting my computer away and spending time with my adult offspring this coming week. We are all gathering in Colorado for a
snowy white Christmas. It is one I have been envisioning for many years. We all need downtime. We all need to have love. If you are alone this Christmas or holiday, take care of yourself and focus on

what you want to do. Nurture yourself. You are your loved one. Get in touch with your inner child. Your connection with your inner child is the key to permanent happiness. Your inner child wants to integrate with you, connect with you and have fun with you. When you do, your life is more joyful, happy, playful and peace-filled. Have some fun, play board games, watch movies that make you laugh. Enjoy your life. It is the only moment you have.

Wishing you all a very safe holiday and wonderful time with family, friends and loved ones. My mother and I will be reconnecting in Canada. Family healing is the key to your healing. When we have healed our relationships with our parents and siblings we have healed ourselves. Love is always the answer, when, is the question I ask you?

Much love to you,
Jennifer

Is your love like the desert?

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Mojave desert, where I live currently

Sharp comments, prickly personality?

I was recently walking with my dog, Karma along the dry dusty trail into the mountains just north of my home. I was thinking about the way I used to be in my relationships. Reactive, bitchy, prickly, dry, no sense of humor and very hot and angry to the touch when someone pointed out my faults. I used to hurt anyone who tried to get close to me, because I was hurting.

We can be touchy and reactive when we hold onto our emotions. We cry for example, to relieve stress and pressure that builds inside us from break-ups, difficult life events, grief, sadness and upset. When our emotions are stuffed inside of us we become reactive. We cannot take the slightest recommendation or suggestion without being reactive - like the desert.

We have prickly plants and trees here, like the Joshua tree for example. It is only found in the Mojave desert (pronounced Mohave).  If you leaned against one of these babies, you could be seriously hurt. I liken the Joshua trees to us when we lash out at someone when they corrects us, or suggest another way.

Having to be right all the time, can cause you to lose friends and lovers. This need comes from your ego. When your ego runs the show, you will not fare well in relationships.

T. Harve Ecker, of the Millionaire Mind fame, used to say, would you rather be right, or would you rather be rich? I say, would you rather be right, or would you rather be loved? Being right can make you a very lonely person. You become very prickly and people don't want to lean up against you, or be with you. Bitchy, prickly, same thing.
Even the weeds in the desert have thorns on them. These thorns fall off to procreate the plant, so that it doesn't die out. The thorns are called goat's heads. We get them in our feet when we walk around barefoot.

When we are touchy and reactive, we are coming from our ego and our pain. We are not connected to our hearts. We can be very lonely in this place of being a victim, feeling that everyone is out to get us, or hurt us. It is simply not true. It just appears that way to us, because all we can see is pain.

When we are hurt and don't heal from it, we carry this pain into everything we do. Pain is what colors our world. It is all the same, everywhere we turn, like the desert. As far as the eye can see, it is colorless, empty, remote. Just like us.

The wind picks up here, causing change, turbulence, dust storms and vortexes of sand in the updrafts. You can't see when the dust and sand is flying in the air. It blurs our vision. Just as our pain blurs our vision. When we hang onto our pain, it defines us. Yet this is false. It is not true, we just think it is.

There is beauty here, but it is often fleeting, disguised or hidden. It is not seen often. When we are bitchy, reactive and thorny we make it difficult for others to see our beauty. We disguise our softness under our suffering and pain. As things begin to change, we often hang on, to the past, not wanting to move forward. We act out of fear of the unknown. Our resistance to change causes us to suffer even more. What we don't recognize in our pain is that we don't have to suffer, all we have to do is let go, forgive and move forward into the wind.

When our suffering gets so great that we recognize we need to change, this is the driving force to heal. That is where I come in. Aren't you ready to let go of your pain and suffering? My pain used to define me. I used to describe myself as a SURVIVOR! Now I describe myself as an Adventurer, a lover of life, an ambassador of light. I prefer the latter. Wishing you a joyful, day moving forward into the wind. When you do, the wind will be at your back instead of in your face.
