5 Ways To Create A Sense of Childlike Wonder Every Day

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Most children till the age of seven, remember their past lives, other parents and what it feels like to be connected to Source, heaven, and unbounded joy. Children also have a sense of wonder about everything. Keeping our childlike wonder alive allows us to find the beauty in each moment which opens us up for more pleasure. Do your best to rekindle wonder to feel more joy, create and experience beauty and pleasure.

1. Ignite your senses. Notice the wind, the sun, the moon, the stars and the beauty in the smallest things. Butterflies, birds, clouds, plants, and trees have innate beauty and can shift your perspective if you stop multi-tasking for a moment to see them. Nature has so much to teach us about living in the moment and seeing the beauty in it.

Nature is here for us to witness and enjoy. You can get high on life when you begin to witness each moment, finding the beauty in life and the earth. Feel the rain on your skin. Listen to the wind, feel the effect on your skin, notice different temperatures during your commute. It is surprising how often temperatures change when we drive down into a valley. Feel the coolness and enjoy what your eyes can see.

We have more than six senses. How many do you use each day? What do you hear, see, smell, taste, sense or feel when you walk by a blooming rose bush. Take a moment to smell the roses. Do you notice the joy that trees express when they are in full bloom? Everything has a consciousness. What can you sense about the plants and trees or animals around you?

Do you notice the praying mantis on your porch? Do you see the hummingbird looking in your window? Acknowledge them, send your love to all you see and feel it returned to you ten-fold. Life is sacred, enjoy each moment.

We are sexual beings.

Breathing in our external experiences allows us to enjoy our sexual experiences with our partners more as well.

2. Do one thing at a time. Take a walk outside and leave your cell phone at home. With all of the technological advancements, we have to make a concentrated effort to connect with our environment to avoid being totally disconnected from who we are. We are part of nature. We are not computers or robots. Experience each moment by doing one thing at a time. Multi-tasking disconnects us from Source and experiencing this moment now. Getting outdoors more often helps us alleviate stress, boosts our immune system and keeps us feeling healthy and happy.

3. Touch nature. Sit on a rock, the grass or the earth to ground yourself. Feel the pulse of the earth running through your body. Close your eyes and inhale deeply. Enjoy what beauty is in the air for you to feel on your skin and smell as you inhale.

4. Enjoy a meal al fresco. Combining food and an outdoor experience is a fun way to experience nature doing something you enjoy - eating! Eat lunch in a park or pack a picnic and enjoy a meal with your family. Outdoor dining feels so good, as it increases telomere strength giving you your daily dose of Vitamin D. Sunlight alleviates depression and makes us feel good.

5. Bring nature home. Hummingbirds are beautiful to watch and bring us joy. A simple combination of 1:3 sugar to water creates a syrup that will bring hummingbirds closer to you. There is nothing so beautiful yet so simple as watching hummingbirds at your window.

During the winter birds can starve when cold weather comes.

Buy a houseplant to purify the air in your home. You will be surprised how having just one plant inside your home will shift the energy. Plants are living things. Bring nature home and heighten your sense of wonder and your connection with all that is daily.

We gain wisdom as we heal and transform our pain into joy. It is possible; I have done it myself. I had tremendous pain and suffering as you did in my childhood. I felt like a victim for over thirty years. Today, I thrive on solitude and quiet. I am happy alone or with a crowd. I feel comfortable in my skin and trust my Guidance. If you are ready to overcome your pain, suffering, and struggle, over thirty years. Today, I thrive on solitude and quiet. I am happy alone or

with a crowd. I feel comfortable in my skin and trust my Guidance. If you are ready to overcome your pain, suffering, and struggle, why don't you contact me now?

21 Quickie Life Hacks For Everyday Happiness

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Happy people have many things in common. They have encountered adversity and overcome it. They recognize that nothing that is worth having comes easily. They also have consistent habits that create daily happiness no matter what is happening.

Being happy isn't just about what you need to do, but what you need to stop doing so that you will feel happier. Happy people shift their focus. Happy people like to play.

When I was sixteen I knew that there had to be more to life than the rat race of life. I set about to change the way I felt about what I experienced. Shifting my focus has created not just happiness for me but ecstasy and bliss on a daily basis.

Beginning today think differently about what you are experiencing. Instead of feeling that everyone is out to get you, focus on what you are being shown about yourself. Everything in our world is a reflection of what is going on inside of each of us. Every moment of every day is a gift, what do you do when someone gives you a gift?

Scientific Research recognizes that happy people are more productive, accomplish more and have much more joi de vive.

21 Life Hacks For Your Everyday Happiness:

1. Say thank you! Gratitude is the biggest thing missing from those who are unhappy. Instead of recognizing the lesson being given and the beauty of the moment we tend to wallow in self-pity when we are unhappy.

The truth is that everyone experiences difficulties. It is how we choose to react and process our challenges that will shift our experience.

Unhappy people tell everyone their story of woe looking for buy-in and support in their misery. After a breakup an unhappy person will continue to dwell on what the other person did to them, rather than look at what the relationship gave them as a gift and what they learned. Learning the lesson allows you to move on and choose something different the next time.

Happy people recognize that each event is just a lesson. They close the book on their past story and say,  "Thank you for my lesson" and wonder what they are supposed to learn?

2. Look up instead of down. When we are depressed or unhappy we tend to look down when we walk. We notice only the negative, the bumps, imperfections, and dirt. When we focus upward, or on the positive we see the open sky, new opportunities, and options. Looking up adopts a positive attitude knowing that there is a purpose in all that is happening. Positive thoughts create vibrant health.

When something falls apart, it is because something better is on its way. Optimism shifts our focus from the closed door and recognizes that a new door is opening with better opportunities.

3. Be kind. When we are kind to others we are also kinder toward ourselves. Serotonin increases in the brain when we act with kindness.

4. Smile. Science backs me up here, with evidence that our brain chemistry changes when we smile. A Duchenne Marker smile actually increases happiness. Duchenne studied smiles of all types. He found that when people smiled which caused crinkles around the corners of the eyes that they are smiling with their soul.

The left prefrontal cortex of the brain where the pleasure centers reside are activated even more so with a spontaneous smile than one that is faked.

5. Make Friends. High-quality relationships with a few people is one of the keys to happiness and longevity. A sense of security is developed with mutual assistance and support. An older person who is lonely has a 14% greater chance of premature death. The impact of being lonely has almost as great an impact on early death as being poor - 19% increase.

6. Participate. Life is a full-contact participatory sport that requires you to engage in social activities to be happy. If you have no network of friends or social activities, join a club. Bowling leagues, baseball, climbing, meditation, Oneness, hiking and travel groups offer networking activities. Join one today. Meet with your group regularly. Don't just sit on the sidelines of life - participate!

7. Breathe deeply. Deep breathing brings you into the present, affirms life and makes you feel grounded. It is so easy to remind yourself to breathe deeply each hour. Set a chime on your phone. No one needs to know what the reminder is.

8. Rescue a pet. There are thousands of unwanted dogs and cats that need homes. A rescued pet is grateful for a loving home and will love you in return. A pet can keep you company, greet you when you get home and helps dissolve loneliness. Watching, playing and communicating with a cat or a dog can help you feel more fulfilled. You are giving a rescued animal a home - it's a win-win for you both! A dog can encourage you to get outdoors so that you move and receive daily exercise.

9. Get out in the sunshine! Many people have developed fears of the sun. The sun is required for vibrant health, life and rejuvenation. There are benefits to being outside. The sun is required for vibrant health, life and rejuvenation. Without the sun people become depressed, are more prone to suicidal thoughts and negative behaviors such as looking to foods, sweets, drinking or drugs to soothe.

10. Create A Healthy Daily Regimen. Get up at the same time and go to bed at the same time. Eat three meals a day that are four hours apart or less. A schedule will help you regulate natural hormones because you are getting enough sleep and food to support your health and function. Happy people take care of themselves because they know they are worth it.

11. Avoid Alcohol. Alcohol is a depressant. It might make you feel happy while you are drinking, but the day after your mood will drop and you may become depressed. Developing positive healthy habits, without drugs and alcohol helps to keep you feeling positive and happy.

13. Avoid Gossip. Talking negatively about others is something happy people just don't do. They focus on themselves and encourage rather than defame others.  Remember what goes around comes around; if you talk about others negatively, others will talk about you in the same way.

14. Stop Comparing. You are unique. There is no one else on this planet that has your gifts, talents, abilities or purpose. Recognize that being different is a gift. Focus on your uniqueness rather than comparing yourself to others. There will always be someone with a better body, more intelligence or something other than what you have. Comparing will always make you feel less than others. So stop it!

15. Don't Complain. Complaining dwells on the negative and will create more of the same for you. Instead, look for the silver lining in the situation. What are you learning here? How could shift your focus so that you find the beauty in the moment?

16. Move Your Body! Movement is what our body needs to feel happy. If we sit all day at work, only walk a few steps to our car and then sit on our couch or chair all evening our body won't be happy. Our health suffers from a sedentary lifestyle. Your chair is not your friend! Get off that couch and dance, walk or swim. Do an exercise to music so that you feel happy while doing it.

17. Play happy Music. Music will shift your mood quickly. I have been around people prone to depression and found that their musical selections are also sad, depressing tunes. Choose music that makes you feel happy, rather than sad. Music will shift your mood very quickly.

18. Surround Yourself With Happy People. Just like surrounding yourself with wealthy people helps you be wealthy, surrounding yourself with happy people helps your be happier. When you are around happy people, you will find your thoughts, words and emotions are more positive, uplifting and focused on happy things.

19. Enjoy Beauty.  A very simple way to have a happier life is to focus on the beauty around you. Begin to notice flowers, trees, landscaping that is beautifully arranged. The earth abounds with beauty. Beauty will help you feel happy. Stop, sniff the roses along your path.

20. Give Others Compliments. When you begin to be generous with heartfelt compliments you will find you feel happier. Others love to be noticed for their new haircut, fit arms or their beautiful smile. Make sure you mean what you say. Noticing the beauty in others will also help you see the beauty within.

21. Choose Happiness. Every day we have a choice. We can wake up and allow ourselves to be in a bad mood, focusing on everything wrong in our lives. OR we can choose to focus on the good, the beautiful and the wonderful gifts that surround us daily. Choosing happiness is the biggest thing you can do for yourself on a daily basis. I choose to be happy, what do you choose for you?

3 Easy Ways To Receive More Pleasure and Happiness

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Have you ever noticed how two people can have the same experience, but their enjoyment of the same thing is completely different? Why is that?

Life is a series of experiences tied together with sensations and feelings. Some people complain, where others enjoy. The way we view our world changes how much pleasure or pain we have. Yesterday, I gave a friend a Magnum ice cream bar. We each ate the same thing together. While I ate
my chocolate covered rich ice cream slowly, savoring the deliciousness of it, enjoying eat and every bite, he devoured his quickly and the moment was gone. I was surprised when he said, "Well that was tasty!" I was only half through mine when he was throwing away his wrapper.

I grew up with three brothers. At dinner, my oldest brothers would load up their plates with great heaps of potatoes, meat with all the fixings, then wolf down their food. Everyone else would eat a normal sized serving. Beginning at the same time, my brother's would be finished before everyone else. It seems as if they barely tasted the food, and they are always hungry. I find this very interesting. Most obese people eat fast and don't feel full. They are always wanting more. The satisfaction that others feel is missing.

It's The Small Things

Finding pleasure in small things rather than looking for the big payout, like winning the lottery leaves people wanting. How many people actually win the lottery? When lottery winners do win, they spend their money quickly then are often more miserable after winning. A study was done comparing lottery winners to those who had terrible accidents, lost limbs or became paraplegics. Within six months of losing the use of their whole body, paraplegics had overcome the sadness and depression and were living lives that were productive. The lottery winners, however, often died, were depressed and had more issues after their winning then they did before.

What is interesting to note, my oldest brother who has a beautiful home, is now retired with a great income is still looking to win the lottery. He thinks he will be happy when he does. He isn't happy living where he lives. He thinks if he moves he will be. If he does move, he will feel the same dissatisfaction because he is the same person. He will show up in his new place feeling just as unhappy as he is now, with his life.

I live a much simpler life, don't experience longing and am very happy with what I have. I live in the moment, grateful for what I have. If I won the lottery or have millions, the first thing I will do is give it to those who need it. I know that things are not where I find joy, happiness or pleasure.

1. Slow down. When we slow down to enjoy what we are experiencing, savoring the tastes, images or events, look around notice, breathing in we are present in the moment. When we are present in each moment, rather than looking over our shoulder at what just happened or worry about what will happen in the future, we experience greater pleasure and happiness. Rushing through life we miss the good, hurry through pleasure then the moment is gone. Slowing down our breathing helps us to be grounded in the present.

2. Feel. Life offers us so many wonderful ways to sense. We hear, see, touch, smell and taste the moment. When we are not grounded in our body we might barely experience these incredible sensations.

When we are numb, out of our bodies or afraid to feel our emotions we often miss the moment. Sometimes, our past experiences teach us mistrust, fear, and pain. When we dwell on those experiences we can't move beyond them. Rather than trying to run away from our feelings, we need to feel them fully. What is the emotion of sadness going to do to you? If you stop and allow yourself to feel the feelings fully, they will pass through you. You will get to the other side. When you avoid feeling you will miss the good.

Letting go of the old story, healing and forgiving yourself and others allows you to move beyond the hurt, pain, and suffering. When we fight or resist we prevent healing from happening.

3. Enjoy. When we look for the pleasure, pleasure is what we will find. When we complain all we see and feel is the negative. Most people rush through their morning, getting out the door in a rush. They don't stop to sit with their animals, meditate before leaving for work and find their life is over before they know it. Life is what we think. If we think of negative experiences, negative experiences is what we draw to us. When we focus on the good, more good is what we draw in.

No matter what we have, being grateful for it, those who love you, the job you have, your children, partner, spouse, animals, health, the more joy you will experience in the moment.

When we rush through a pleasurable experience like sex, it is over in minutes. It leaves us wanting more. We may never feel satisfied with anything when we rush through it. Slow down. Spend time looking into your lovers' eyes. Touch their face, kiss their mouth. Become the sensual provocateur. Tease, ignite, and intensify the pleasure by heightening your experience, take your pleasure up another notch. Instead of moving into penetrative sex, heighten your excitement by kissing your partner all over their body. Make love-making a marathon instead of a sprint.

Instead of rushing through your meals, conversations or experiences, take the time to savor the
moment and get the most pleasure out of your life. You will be so much happier as a result. Enjoy each moment. Breathe. Slow down and take in the small things. Notice the hummingbird, the flowers, smell the roses. When you do, your life will become pleasure filled rather than pain filled.

Manifesting Miraculous Moments

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

There is no doubt that at this time of year more than any other,  people are focusing on a multitude of things. When you are driving, walking down stairs or stepping off or over a curb, take care. Keep your wits about you and be aware. Instead be in the moment focused and firmly grounded in the here and now and your holiday and your life will be so much more miraculous.... read on. You may wondering where this rambling is taking you, believe me, you will wind up with miracles if you read through to the end - no sales pitch just "HOW TO DO IT."

Breathe in deeply.....

With all the activities happening, shopping, rushing and multi-tasking we often forget to pay attention. I have known of three car accidents and two stair accidents in the past month. So please be aware, stay grounded and watch what you are doing. When we have too many things going on at once, this is when we become ungrounded, fragmented and unfocused. Just focus on what you are doing when you are doing it. Be aware.

Walking Down Stairs

When carrying something in our hands we often can't see if we have reached the bottom step or not. Accidents happen when you think you have arrived and you have two more steps left. This
occurs when we are daydreaming, or not focusing on the task at hand (yes, one and the same thing). This lack of focus is being autocorrected by The Universe. You will have to focus on what you are doing, stay present, or you will be in danger.

Being In The Now

You may think it is an impossible task to be present and in the now. It is as simple as  focusing on one thing. Focus on the speaker, focus on the task, focus on right here, right now. Don't think of what you should have done, or could have done, or what you wished for that never materialized. All of those thoughts are a waste of time and precious energy. The past is gone. Continuing to worry, fret or even regret will cause you to be stuck in another time. When you are focused on the past, or the future, you miss out on the precious and wonderful moments that are happening right now. When you are elsewhere, you will not be with those who love you and are with you now. They will feel it, even if you think you are doing a great job faking it.

How To Be Present

Breathe in deeply. Notice what your body is feeling right now. Exhale deeply, as you do relax your shoulders that are up around your ears. Notice how you feel in your body. Are you trying to escape the moment? If you are, ask yourself, "What am I afraid of? Is what I am fearing REAL?" Sometimes we are so used to being somewhere else that is where we live and breathe. When we don't love ourselves we often try to escape our emotions. We might even feel uncomfortable in our own skin. The point is that running away causes more pain and suffering because you are in resistance to what is.

Resistance Causes Suffering

When we are fighting what is occurring in the moment, we are resisting. Usually we are in a fight all by ourselves. We think it is the other person, but we are fighting our inner demons, fears or beliefs about ourselves. Relax and breathe. Know you are already enough. You are already loved, accepted and cared for. The earth loves you. The birds love you. The sky loves you. The Universe loves you and God/Divine /Source Energy loves you. You don't have to achieve or be something other than who you are to be loved. It has already happened. It is a DONE DEAL! So stop fighting with yourself. Allow yourself to RECEIVE LOVE.

When I was suffering.....

So unhappy, I rarely smiled....  suffering a lot
I could not feel other's love for me. I was stuck in blame and victimhood. I blamed everyone for my own personal pain. I suffered a lot. I was so wounded from my past, that I could not feel love if it fell on me.

Wounded people hurt others

I was hurting. I often lashed out in anger at my children, husband and parents. It took me a long time to finally accept all of me, release the past events and forgive everyone. When I did, life became so much easier.

Surrender

I was the camelian. I turned into whatever I thought others wanted me to be, in order for them to like me. I did things that I didn't really want to do, because I was unable to say no, thinking they wouldn't like me, or love me if I did. It was not until I let go of trying to be perfect, trying to please everyone and trying to be something other than myself that my pain went away. I let go of it all and surrendered.

Being In The Flow and Manifesting In The Moment

I aligned my will with that of The Divine and began to manifest anything I asked for. Is that a miracle, I feel it is. I began to manifest whatever I asked for immediately - in the same day I asked for it to come into being. That is a freaking miracle I tell you! The secret here is to be in the present. Miracles are manifested when you are thankful for what you have, grounded in the present. When I was told my beloved Colorado was not my home. I listened. I did not fight it. I moved to California. When I did, money was no longer an issue. I aligned my will with that of The Divine. I stopped fighting.

Win-Win Solutions

It took me a while to get this. I thought I did it all. I thought I was the one bringing all this into being. Yes, that is part of it, but the surrender piece is the most important. When we align with the will of God we no longer focus on just us. We focus on the good of the whole. We focus on the cosmic perspective. We are concerned about the planet and all it's people. We look for and ask for WIN-WIN Solutions. When we do, we get all that we desire. Now people come to me asking me to pray for miracles for them.

Scattered Smothered And Covered?

In Georgia, breakfast is served all day 24 hours a day in little hole in the wall diners called, Waffle House. One of their dishes is hash brown potatoes smothered with cheese and who knows what else. I just like the sound of the dish.
It sounds like everything but the kitchen sink, which explains where our minds are when we are unfocused. We are scattered, smothered in tasks, details and covered up with too many projects unfinished. We may be traveling and trying to get laundry, housecleaning and animals taken care of. Whatever you are doing, please take your time, don't rush and be present. Slow down. Breathe.

Love Your Loved Ones

The more present we are in the moment with ourselves, the more present we will be with our loved ones. You can bet, I will be putting my computer away and spending time with my adult offspring this coming week. We are all gathering in Colorado for a
snowy white Christmas. It is one I have been envisioning for many years. We all need downtime. We all need to have love. If you are alone this Christmas or holiday, take care of yourself and focus on

what you want to do. Nurture yourself. You are your loved one. Get in touch with your inner child. Your connection with your inner child is the key to permanent happiness. Your inner child wants to integrate with you, connect with you and have fun with you. When you do, your life is more joyful, happy, playful and peace-filled. Have some fun, play board games, watch movies that make you laugh. Enjoy your life. It is the only moment you have.

Wishing you all a very safe holiday and wonderful time with family, friends and loved ones. My mother and I will be reconnecting in Canada. Family healing is the key to your healing. When we have healed our relationships with our parents and siblings we have healed ourselves. Love is always the answer, when, is the question I ask you?

If you have questions, need assistance or prayers over the holidays, send Jennifer a private e-mail here. JenniferElizabethMasters@gmail.com

7 Ways To Alleviate Post Holiday Blues

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Courtesy Mark Sisson

Feeling Post Holiday Blues?

Holidays can be a wonderful time of togetherness, love and acceptance. We rush around shopping, preparing and cooking. We bake and cook furiously, putting all our love and energy into our creations. Guests arrive in a rush of excitement. We share with open hearts and enjoy the fact that everyone loved what we created. We begin the clean up of dishes and move furniture back to its original place. Guests and family members leave. Afterwards, many people feel post holiday depression or a drop in their energy. Looking at holidays from a different perspective can help. Here are 7 ways to bust out of your post holiday blues.

1. Expectations

Maintaining a high state of energy all the time is not possible. We can't be floating at the top of the mountain all of the time. Even Masters have to trudge down the slope to be able to climb the next higher mountain. In everything there is an ebb and flow. The pendulum must swing both ways.

To think we could exist in a state of high without coming down at all is likened to an addict that wants to feel "high" all the time. Our body needs to slow down and rebuild after the excitement and high of a holiday. It isn't bad, or wrong, it just is.

2. Enjoy The Beauty of Contrast

When we can be present with each moment, we enjoy it for what it is. Enjoy the preparations. Enjoy the guests and then enjoy the peace and quiet and rest. It is all just an experience. Each one is different from the next.

If our relationships were perfect all the time, we would begin to take the perfection for granted. If guests were with us all the time, they would cease to be guests. We would not appreciate the newness of their presence and then their departure. The contrast is lovely.

With conflict, anger and emotional release we see it for what it is. If we are sad all the time, we don't experience the other end of the spectrum, JOY. If we are happy all the time, we forget what it feels like to be sad. The contrast allows us to see the beauty in each moment. Revel in it, rather than long for the other end of the spectrum to return. The more you resist what is, the more you suffer. It is perfectly normal to feel sad when your loved ones leave. Allow yourself to feel it. Then let it go.

3. Be Grateful For The Experience

Each experience teaches us something and has a gift and a lesson. Be grateful for each one. Then be open to receive more. The more grateful we are for each and everything in our lives, the more we open to receive more wonderment, more peace, more satisfaction and more success in all that we do. Even having a successful meditation, or a successful walk with our dog. Each event is an experience. Remember to be grateful for the experience it will open you to receive more.

4. Allow Your Emotions To Move

We are human which means we have a physical, emotional and a spiritual component to everything we do. Feeling is natural. Even crying is good for us, as it allows emotions to move rather than stagnate. Stress hormones are released when we cry, which reduces stress levels. This is healthy.

Venting anger is also needed in a healthy way. Exercise, meditation, chanting, singing are all ways you can channel this energy in a healthy way. Primal screaming is another. If you haven't tried it, watch a 2-year old have a temper tantrum.  The stomp their feet, pound their arms and yell. Afterward you would think the event never happened. They have forgotten and fall asleep. Energy has moved out of their body and they feel better.

5. Being Present With What IS

Enjoying each moment as it presents itself is being present. When we only focus on the past and what we didn't do, or accomplish, our mistakes and the people who wrong us, we miss the perfection of the moment. We don't see the gift in the PRESENT. The same holds true for focusing endlessly on the future. If we focus most of our time, energy and attention on the future, we miss what is right in front of us. We are distracted by thoughts of what might never happen.

6. Avoid Distraction

Distraction takes us away from the present moment where everything wonderful happens. We can distract ourselves with phone calls, fixing others, visitors, sex or work. The bottom line is that you have to enjoy being alone with you. If you don't, you don't love yourself. No matter what the distraction is you are still there, but not present in the moment.

Distracting yourself is not a fix. Focus on you. Notice how you feel. If you get depressed after family and friends leave, sit with it. Revel in it. Cry if you have to. Then allow yourself to move on.

7. Get Up And Move!

Put on some dance music and get up and dance. Move some energy through you. Physical activity is one of the quickest ways to move energy through your body.

When we are in a state of gratitude we are able to manifest because we are aligned  with The Divine energy, all that is. We are greater than ourselves when we are expressing gratitude. We open ourselves up to vulnerability. Our hearts open when we are grateful. When our hearts are open synchronistic events unfold. We witness the beauty that surrounds us. (Read to the end I have two you tube links to videos that will fill your soul and help you feel it).

Whether you feel you have something or nothing to be grateful, begin expressing gratitude for the smallest of things and watch what unfolds. The more grateful we are for what we have the more we open to our unlimited potential. Recognize what blessings you have in your life. Even if you are sick and feel you have nothing, you are alive. Whether we are homeless or living with friends, we have a roof over our heads. We have food on our table. We have friends, loved ones. Be grateful for another day of life.

Whether you are in pain and suffering, be grateful for the experience and see how your suffering diminishes. Here is my prayer for you today:

Thank you for the amazing Blessings in my life today.

Thank you for my eyes that see and my ears that hear.

Thank you for my hands that serve and give to others even when I have so little myself.

Thank you for my children, my mother and father and my friends.

Thank you for the sun that shines that warms me.

Accessing The Peace Within

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Life is so much more peaceful when we have harmony within.

When you are feeling stuck, angry or stressed, there is a way to shift how you feel, quickly. It only takes a few minutes each day. All we need is a little stillness and quiet. Without the noise of the television, or cell phone ringing, we can go deep within. This place of endless spaciousness is a deliciousness that cannot be replicated anywhere. This beauty and quiet stills your soul, quiets the mind, and feeds your soul. It brings such an expanded feeling that shifts your perspective and fills that empty feeling with a warmth and glow that will change you.

If there is chaos in our outer world, you will feel chaos inside. Doing things the way you have always will keep you stuck. Try something different. Get beyond the excuses that you don't have time, or you can't sit still. These excuses come from the ego mind that will defeat you if you let it. Instead get beyond the stuck limited place and try something different. No one had more mind chatter or negativity than me, before I woke up. I have a couple of tricks for quieting the mind. I promise you if you can sit in quiet for just 10 minutes and breathe slowly you will shift your mood and feel more positive. I have been angry, upset or down and have changed the way I felt about even the most difficult situations with 10 minutes of stillness. I struggled with quieting my mind when I began to meditate. I will share with you what has worked for me.

When your mind is active, it can seem difficult to stop the chatter. The more we focus on stopping our thoughts the more thoughts that come. Start with baby steps. This is an opportunity to be kind to yourself, rather than to beat yourself up for non-performance. No beatings allowed! I recommend that you meditate sitting up, as the idea is to stay awake and be present, rather than to fall asleep. I use a method to get into your heart chakra taught by my Ascension teachers, Gomati and Vasestha Ishaya. They are wonderful teachers I highly recommend. I have provided the link to their site here http://www.Ascendingtooneness.com

3 Steps To Be Present:

  1. Stop and breathe. Inhale slowly.
  2. Relax your shoulders.
  3. Smile to your heart and exhale completely.

Meditation Made Easy:

  1. Sit upright in a quiet place on a chair, floor or bed. Make sure you are supported with pillows and are comfortable.
  2. Turn off the television, cell phone and shut your animals outside your room. These distractions can cause you to give up before you even begin.
  3. Take a deep breath in. Inhale completely filling your lungs.
  4. Exhale slowly and completely.
  5. Focus on your breath as you inhale slowly.
  6. You will notice that you become relaxed as you begin to focus on your breath.
  7. Notice where your shoulders are. Relax your shoulders more.
  8. As you continue breathing in deeply and exhale slowly your body will continue to relax and you will notice you are being PRESENT.
  9. I use a simple method to calm the mind: keeping your head steady, look up to the ceiling with your eyes. Do not raise your head, just your eyes. Do this for a few minutes and then continue to breathe.
  10. If a thought comes up as you continue to breathe, just allow it to float by, do not attempt to control it or make it stop. It is just a thought.
  11. Beginning with your toes notice aliveness in your feet and toes. Just put your attention on your feet for a few minutes.
  12. Now put your attention on your ankles and calves, notice the aliveness there. Can you feel the blood pulsing through your legs?
  13. Move your attention to your knees and feel the aliveness in your knees.
  14. Move your attention into your hips. Feel the aliveness in your hips.
  15. Move your attention into your solar plexus, just below the diaphragm. Feel the aliveness there.
  16. Now move your focus and attention to your heart chakra - the space between your breasts. You always want to be in your heart center, rather than your mind when you meditate. This will help you to go deep within and also calms the chatter.
  17. Use this meditation video below to help you. The Divine Presence Process Meditation will fill you to overflowing, allow you to connect deeply with your Spiritual Self as well as The cosmos, Source or God energy. This is what I used every day which helped me to awaken in 2012.
