Self-Acceptance and Non-Judgement Are Key to Happiness

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

James Franco-loving himself

Self-acceptance is about loving ourselves as we are with all our warts, faults and foibles. Everyone has weaknesses and strengths.

Non-judgment is resting in our heart without making a determination of how we think things are. Judgment is often cruel, heartless and often prejudiced.

We can look at others and make judgments based on how they look. For example, last night I attended a gathering where there were individuals in their early twenties and some in their mid to late sixties. When one young man took his shift off to enter the pool an older gentleman judged him on the tattoo art he displayed on his back. The young man was viewed as dark and dastardly because in a moment he chose a particular shape to be tattooed. Making a judgment about someone's character without knowing what is in their heart is unjust and prejudiced.

Insecure people strive to be perfect, while those who accept themselves do so as they are, without attempting to be perfect. Perfectionism leads to anxiety, stress and even depression because it is impossible to reach the goal of perfection. Perfectionism can cause us to remain stuck and stagnant rather than improve in the areas where we lack expertise.

Men and women come to me for a variety of reasons. Most people want to be happier or have the relationship that continues to elude them. The key to being happier with ourselves and those around us is to accept ourselves, others and life as it is.

I remember when I was unhappy with myself my relationships and my life. I was like a salmon trying to swim upstream. My life was a struggle. Relationships were wrought with challenges. Even my relationships with my children were difficult because I wanted to change everyone. We might think we are helping others by telling them what or how to do things. The truth is we don't accept ourselves when we have the need to direct, change or fix others.

When we complain, bitch or moan about our kids, friends, partners and life, we don't accept things as they are. We can't possibly be happy when we complain because we are focusing on the negative or what we don't have.

If we find ourselves single make the most of being single. Do the things that you have always wanted to do but were unable to do before your last relationship. Often we change ourselves and our likes and dislikes to meet the needs of our partner. When we change or give up things we love to do, we can become resentful or on the extreme end feel dead inside.

What We Give Up For Others

When we don't stand in our power, we tend to give away too much. We might give custody of our children to our ex, a pet away because our new boyfriend is allergic, or stop doing yoga, meditation or running because it interferes with what our partner wants. Giving away the farm as I like to call it is never a good thing. We wake up one day and wonder where we went because we feel we have lost ourselves and our way.

When we constantly worry about what others think of us, we disempower ourselves and focus on others rather than feeling good inside. When we change our personality and behavior to fit the needs of others, we weaken our power and become the chameleon. Chameleons change their color depending on their environment, out of fear.

What Insecure People Are Afraid Of

  • being alone,
  • not having a partner,
  • no one will ever love me
  • no one will find me attractive
  • time is running out I better keep the person I have

When we accept ourselves the way we are we become comfortable being authentic. We no longer have to pretend to be something or someone to feel good when we are authentic. We don't have to change with the wind or the situation because we know who we are and love ourselves as we are. There is nothing more powerful than being able to walk into a room full of people and be you. When we love ourselves, we aren't afraid that others won't like us. We aren't concerned what others think of us either when we accept ourselves as we are.

When we love ourselves, we are content being alone because we like who we are. Self-love includes loving acceptance of all that we include the shadowy parts of ourselves. When we are filled with self-loathing and insecurities, we fear to be alone because we don't have a clue who we are. We fear what we don't know. I recommend falling in love with you, it could be your greatest love affair of all time!

Find out how your life can become happier with self-acceptance and non-judgment by working with Jennifer. Jennifer is masterful at getting to the root of your issues and uncovering your strength and beauty within. When you begin to recognize the truth of your being your talents, gifts, and strengths are revealed, you feel more confident and accepting of yourself.

A Love Letter From Your High Self

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

When we can have loving compassion for ourselves no matter what, our lives become better. We are more loving to others when we have the capacity to accept ourselves as we are, without trying to be perfect. The following letter is how your high self feels about you. Your high self is comprised of higher light beings and your soul essence. Enjoy!

My Dearest,

I love you without boundaries, without conditions. I love every molecule of your body, every microscopic cell of your being. I love your lips your smile, your beautiful eyes with the crinkles around the corners when you laugh. I love the color of your irises when you cry. I love the tears as they fall from your face. I love to hear you laugh. I join you in your joy.

I love you when you are sad. I love you when you are late. I love you when you get flustered, anxious or angry. I love you when you are crying. I love you when you eat ice cream. I love you when you don't know which way to turn. I love you while you sleep.

I am here for you when you feel lost. I love you when you feel pain. I sit with you in your deepest moment of anguish and comfort you when you feel grief. I am here with you when you experience loss. I am always with you. I always love you. There is never a time I don't love you.

I join you in your triumphs. I celebrate with you when you win. I am also here when you feel like a loser. It doesn't matter to me whether you win or you lose. I love you no matter what. You are never a loser to me.

I see your deepest darkest secrets and love you through your guilt and shame. I love you when you rejoice and feel the wonder of nature and your soul. I love you when you are angry when you feel broken - though you never are. You are whole and perfect as you are.

I love you when you are driven. I love you when you can't get out of bed and feel despair. I love you when you feel depressed and sorrowful. I love you when you can't make a decision. I love you when you beat yourself up. I love you when you create drama and chaos for yourself. I am always here to help you through your darkest night; I will never leave you.

I love you when you feel fat. I love you when you hate your body. I love you when you don't want to exercise. I love you when you stuff your emotions with substances. I love you when you can't speak up for yourself. I love you when you can't trust. I love you when you have no faith. I love you when you are addicted. I love you when you try to fill the void in your heart with a relationship, and it ends badly. I love you through your grieving process.

I love you when you struggle with others. I love you when you have difficulty at work, at home or with your children. I love you through childbirth and love you when loved ones pass on. I love you when you aren't present. I love you when you are emotional. I love you when you love us.

I love you when you are hopeful. I love you when you are struggling. I love you always.

You are a radiant being of sparkling light. You are so lovely. You are beautiful. You are bright amazing and brilliant. You are creative and intelligent. You are caring. You are loving. Inside you is a deep compassion for yourself and everyone else. You are love.

You are worthy. You are my darling. You are my most important person. You are valuable. You are important. You are wondrous, talented brilliant and bright. I see the truth of who you are no matter how you feel. The truth of your being is brilliant light and unconditional love. You are love. You are always loved by me. No matter what you do, no matter what you say, no matter what you think or how you behave. I love you.

I always love you. No matter what, I am here. I will never leave you. I love you just the way you are. No matter what you do, I love you.

Big Guns, Arizona
With my undying love and gratitude for you,
xoxoxo

Is Intolerance Keeping You From Love and Happiness?

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Opposites attract. There is a reason that we are attracted to those that are different from us; it is due to the survival of our species. Our natural tendency is to be attracted to those who are not exactly like ourselves. Once we find a partner, we then begin to force-fit them into our little view of what they need to be for us to be happy

What if your intolerance of another's differences is keeping you from having the love you desire?

You may be searching for:

  • Spiritual but not Religious
  • Healthy but not a Vegan
  • Fit but not a gym rat or bodybuilder
  • Attractive to you, but not a model
  • Tall not short
  • Financially stable, not bankrupt
  • Little baggage rather than a steamer trunk full
  • Healed rather than addicted or co-dependent
  • Active rather than a couch potato
  • Curvy and comfy
  • Animal lover, but not a rescue mission
  • A hard worker, but not a workaholic
  • Single, rather than divorced
  • No children, rather than a nursery full
  • Someone with high energy like you
  • Someone quiet, rather than chatty
  • A sense of humor, but not rowdy

The truth is that there is an ocean of opportunity in the dating world for love. Often we turn away from those who could be a great partner. We are so focused on what we think they should be that we can't see their greatness.

There are other issues you might attempt to match with your vision of what your best mate criteria could be. You might say, "Hell NO!" to someone who is a great match but lives more than fifty miles from you. You might turn down someone who was younger or older than you thought you wanted. What if you turned down someone who might be an excellent match for you, but different than the partner you pictured for yourself?

Dating is an opportunity. Each date leads you one step closer to having the love you desire. You might date someone for a few days, weeks or even months before you recognize that something isn't quite right but you had a great time exploring and allowing yourself to learn more about yourself and the dating process. Every date is another chance to grow and have a little fun along the way. Give each person a chance, rather than judging a book by it's cover.

Be Open Minded

Trying different things can stretch you and help you grow and evolve. Dating people who are outside of your comfort zone can give you new opportunities to explore possibilities for a healthy relationship. If you keep dating the same type and your relationships don't work out, maybe it is time to expand your limited vision of what is best for you.

Someone doesn't have to be just like you for you to find happiness.

Think Outside The Box

Once you know what your core values are, you can look beyond the type of person you have in the past. If your core values match, you can expand beyond what you think is good for you. The very type of person you have been avoiding could be what is best for you.

Maybe you don't accept yourself and are therefore not accepting other's differences.

Ask Yourself The Following Questions:

  1. Am I expecting my date/partner to be perfect?
  2. Am I open to new opportunities?
  3. Am I the very thing I am looking for already - in a date/partner?
  4. Are my expectations too high?
  5. Am I being intolerant of other's differences?
  6. Am I pushing love away by saying no to a new experience?
  7. Am I a perfectionist and expecting too much from another?

Following are some suggestions of how you can remain true to your values and expand your horizons to allow more opportunity for love.

  • besides Spiritual, there is Hindu, Buddhist, Mindful and more
  • beyond white collar, there are tradespeople, techies, and entrepreneurs
  • animal lovers,  volunteers, humanitarians
  • adventurers, homebody, a little of both
  • divorced, widowed, single
  • has some issues, but working on them

We All Are Works In Progress

Life is a journey. Not everyone you date will be right for you. Knowing what you want and staying open may take you on some twists and turns. Enjoy the journey. You might have to date ten different people to find the one you feel is a great fit for you. That's okay.

Have some fun on the twists and turns. Bank with the curves and laugh at yourself while you change and grow during the process. That is what life is all about having fun along the way. Just remember that no one is perfect or without their own flaws and faults.

Accepting another as they are is what real love is all about.

Each day we take one more step on that road of life we can stop and sniff one flower here another
there meeting new flowers on that road. Putting yourself out there allowing some risk taking is how you find love. If you are only focused on one type of person or your expectations are too high, you may find love continues to elude you. We all have quirks, chinks in our armour and have had heartbreaks and even divorces.

Look for someone who is open-minded and working on themselves, as you are and you will be surprised at the doors of opportunity for love that open to you. Say YES! instead of no and you will find love.

What If You Have Already Arrived?

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Our perception shifts our reality. Two people may look exactly the same, be the same weight, have the exact same relationship
status, while one person feels inadequate, fat, dumb, lost and the other loves life, their body and themselves. What is different about these two individuals?

It is our perception of our reality that shifts everything. Do you feel your glass is half full? Or do you believe your glass is overflowing so much that you give joyously to others?

Feeling Broken

When we think we are broken we focus on all the broken aspects of ourselves. We focus on the fact we don't have a relationship, we don't live near the family we love, we don't have friends. When we feel broken we think we need fixing. We also view others with the same perception: they need fixing also.

Wherever You Focus Your Attention Grows

For example, I could focus on the fact that my family is across the country, in Colorado, my mother in Toronto, and that it is hard to see them. Or I could say to myself (which I do) when we are together, we have such a great time. I am totally present with my family and enjoy being with them so much.

I could also focus on the fact that I live in the desolate, hot, cold and windy desert. Or I could focus on the fact that I am close enough to drive to the beach and back in one day. I can drive to beautiful Santa Barbara in a couple of hours and enjoy driving

through Valencia and all the orange groves and see all the artichokes, cabbage, and raspberries growing. I am close enough to drive to Colorado in 19 hours. I am close enough to LA that I can visit clients there in an hour and a half. Seeing my glass as overflowing is what brings me joy. I see all the possibilities rather than focusing on what I don't have.

When I spend time with my family whether it is my mother or my adult off-spring, I enjoy them for who they are. I revel in each moment. Even enjoying some revelry with my ex-husband Bill Gates over his grilling expertise.
I have fun with them. The time is special. I don't take them for granted. We mark the experiences with photos, appreciating each moment. We take trips to new places and enjoy such simple events as going to the grocery store together, cooking a meal or sharing a hike in a beautiful spot. We live for the moment.

Acceptance

Most people think they are broken. I know I used to also. For years, I thought I was a broken little doll that needed fixing. All the men I attracted also needed fixing. Funny how that happens! When I didn't believe I was enough, neither did the men I was with. I was criticized, put down and was very good at sabotaging any good that came along.

Thinking that you aren't enough will change your world. When we focus on what we think we don't have, all we see is a void, a hole an imperfect face or body, the fact that no one is our partner. Instead, begin the mantra, "I am perfect as I am."

Ways To Power up Acceptance

Use the following mantras three times a day - every day for 30 days. You will find your ability to accept yourself and others will improve.
  1. I am whole.
  2. I am complete.
  3. I am powerful.
  4. I am perfect.
  5. I am strong.
  6. I am harmonious.
  7. I am loving.
  8. I am happy.
  9. I am a perfect version of myself as I am.
  10. My life keeps getting better and better every day.
  11. I commit to loving me!
  12. I commit to myself and my happiness.
  13. I love and accept myself as I am right now!

What If You are Absolutely Perfect The Way You Are?

The law of perfection states that you were created in the eyes of God, as God in His image. How can you be anything but perfect? You have already arrived - as you are. It is a come as you are party!

Losing Weight

If your goal is to lose weight so that you can have the relationship of your dreams, I call BULL SHIT! Uh Huh! You are full of shit! In fact so much so, I think your eyes are turning brown.

This morning I was working with a client who lost 235 pounds! His focus and goal in losing all that weight was that he would be happy and have the life and relationship of his dreams once he lost the weight.

The Reality

If you aren't happy with yourself as is, like buying a used car from a dealer you will never be happy. This man that lost 235 pounds is miserable because he isn't any closer to being happy now than he was when he was considered obese. Why? Because he still doesn't accept himself the way he is. He pushes people away who try to love him because he wonders what on earth they see in him?

Join me Wednesday night for a FREE podcast where we will power up your acceptance quotient. I invite you to recognize that the only way you can be successful is by committing to yourself. You will never have the relationship of your dreams till you can stand up for you, believe in you and ACCEPT YOU!

Wednesday, March 23, 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM

(641) 715-3580 Pin 730-749

*6 to mute yourself

With Plenty of time for questions at the end. I will stay until the last question is answered!

Are you ready to commit to yourself? Are you ready to grow exponentially and accept all of you so that you can enjoy each moment of your life in joy? I have developed two signature programs of 6 and 10 months in length for those who are ready to commit to themselves. E-mail me now to set up your discovery session with me. Your life will never be the same, unless you want it to!

I love you!

95% Of Your Thoughts Are Unconscious - How To Reprogram Your Mind To Heal Yourself

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Our brain and body store energy from the past. Behaviors and beliefs are even downloaded into the fetus in utero. Emotions from events that happened long ago are still reverberating out into The Universe bringing you what you don't want. How do I know? With over 35 years of self-introspection, till I began to clear and release trapped emotions from my cellular body, use mantras and self-hypnosis to reprogram my mind, I continued to attract the same types of abusive, angry men and similar unsupportive situations.

Take My Survey Help Me Improve My Services

Take my survey and send me an e-mail. You will be entered into my drawing for January 30th.

Thinking about a situation, and forgiveness is not enough to clear the past. Our emotional body continues to store the emotions of all the situations we experienced in our life until we begin to have them removed.

Examples Of How Emotions Reverberate in Adulthood

Let's say that your mother was an alcoholic. At the age of four, you found your mother lying comatose on the kitchen floor. You pushed your chair up against the wall and dialed a number. You managed somehow to call 911, and an ambulance came. You were permanently impacted by the trauma you witnesses. Just because the event was remedied does not mean that you are healed. Your cells were imprinted and programmed with several things:

  • alcoholism
  • emotional abandonment
  • lying
  • enabling
  • women leave you
  • women aren't there for you
  • you aren't as important as an addiction
  • you are unloved
  • you are unworthy of love, acceptance, and nurturing

The motions of fear, emotional abandonment, substance abuse, addiction, love unreceived, anger, sadness, sorrow, hated of women, self-rejection and so many more continue to plague you the rest of your life. You may find that you attract women who cheat because your mother or father or both cheated. You might attract men or women who lie because one of your parents lied. You might attract partners who are addicted because your parents had addiction issues.

Perhaps you can't related to this person's real life event. How about this one:

Your father was abused by his father (your grandfather). He was beaten and reprimanded whenever he did anything slightly wrong. His father was an angry rageful man. In turn, your father was rageful and angry. He yelled when you didn't eat your dinner. He may even have abused your mother in some way. You felt rejected, tormented with low self-esteem and self-hatred because your father often told you how worthless you were. He might have even had an affair or been gone much of the time.

The patterning of this parenting style imprints you with feelings of not being good enough. You will attract men who are women haters because your father was one. You might even find that as soon as you begin to get close to a man he leaves. You aren't sure why. However, trapped emotions create waves of energy. Others sense when you have hatred of men programs even when you aren't aware of them.

In Utero Programming and Imprinting

Perhaps your mother got pregnant by accident. Your father didn't want a pregnancy so early in the marriage. He suggested an abortion. Your mother insisted on giving birth to you because you are already loved by her. She gives birth and from the time you are born you have feelings of inadequacy, feeling emotionally abandoned and unwanted.  You attract partners who abuse, lie or cheat on you. You continue to feel unloved and unwanted no matter how much outer work you do. (This is a true story, by the way)

Emotions Are Hidden To Us

Our emotions don't show up unless you look at your patterns. In my case, I continued to attract men who victimized me even after I wasn't feeling like a victim. After my third marriage had ended and I had done years of serious work, I was downloaded with The Relationship Matrix. When I did this matrix, I was able to see that I was the common denominator in all my relationships. I was the problem, not them!

The patterns were removed, but the emotions weren't until I specifically focused on them and cleared them from my cellular body and field.

Emotional Abandonment

Our parents did the best they could. However, they showed up with their issues. Their parents and grandparents had very different parenting styles than we do today. Many of us were beaten with belts, hairbrushes, and other objects. We may have been emotionally abused as well. These events create blocked emotions in our field and bodies. Unfortunately, these emotions are unconsciously sent out into the Universe boomeranging back to us creating havoc in our lives and relationships until they are removed.

When we have been emotionally abandoned by our parents, we attract others with abandonment issues. We often show up unavailable emotionally and don't even realize it. If you are attracting partners who are unavailable, emotionally it is because you have some aspect of this in your energy field and body.

95% of Our Thoughts Are Unconscious

Dr. Bruce Lipton wrote the book of The Biology of Belief.  It has been proven that if we BELIEVE something, it will occur. If we believe we will get cancer because our father or mother had it, we will get it. Doctors have taught us that we are victims of our heredity, that we can't change our DNA. However, epigenetics shows that you can change your DNA. You can control what you believe. Our perception can re-write our genetic coding. We are limited by our perceptions, which affect our genes.

An example of this is that when I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, I was told I would have it for life. I didn't buy into that. I chose NOT to BELIEVE it. I healed Fibromyalgia through believing that I could heal it. I healed it through self-love.

A negative belief can hurt you as much as a positive belief can heal you.

The Conscious mind only operates about 5% of the time. The primary programs in your unconscious mind you downloaded from other people. Most of the beliefs you have are limiting.

Healing My Tumor

I was scheduled to have surgery to remove a tumor. During the five or six weeks between the visit with the surgeon and me showing up for the surgery, the tumor was gone! The doctor sweat over me looking for the tumor that didn't exist any longer. Watch this video and hear me tell what occurred.

Dr. Bruce Lipton and Wayne Dyer Talk about BELIEF and how you can heal through thought. There is nothing in our body that can't be repaired! We have been programmed to believe what doctors tell us. When we go to the doctor, we are looking for something to be wrong with us. When we are told we have a terminal illness by a doctor, we believe it.

We have turned our healing powers over to doctors. We already have an innate system that heals us - within us. Many people get well on the way to the doctor. We have been systematically disempowered through out our lives.

I recently heard about a woman who was told that she had between three and six months to live. She believed what the doctor told her and gave up. She died within three months.

The Power of The Subconscious Mind

The subconscious mind runs without a rudder. It has no sense of humor and believes whatever it is told. You can't access the unconscious mind with the conscious mind. There is no one running the show. Programs that have been downloaded from others need to be re-written. Hypnotherapy can re-write the programs!

We run our lives from our subconscious programs. Falling in love changes everything. We begin to wake up and be more conscious about what we are doing. You are conscious about your interaction. Everything is wonderful during the honeymoon period. You are running from your conscious thoughts, rather than allowing your past programming to govern your life.

When your conscious mind gets busy, and you are responding from your unconscious programming (from past programming) you stop paying attention, and your unconscious programming takes over. Your mate may look at you differently wondering what happened?

You're Not Smart Enough
What's The Matter With You?
You are lazy!
You are an idiot!
You will always have ______ disease
You will never get well
You will never _________
Women always leave
Men lie and cheat
You are sick
You are dying
You cannot heal yourself
You are powerless

These programs cripple us.

I have been a hypnotherapist since 1998. I became a Hypnotherapist trainer and Neurolinguistic Trainer in 2011. Dr. Lipton talks about Prozac being ineffective. I will attest to that as I was prescribed it after my divorce. I fell asleep at the wheel and took myself off the drug, as I found it did absolutely nothing to fix my depression. I no longer have depression and help people with this through the healing work I do.

What Men Want From Their Women

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

If you are looking for a Soul Mate relationship, you will want to read this all the way to the end. If you are looking for a committed Soul Mate relationship, getting a guy to commit to you will take this!

Historically, there have been songs written, movies created and thousands of books about the differences between men and women's needs. Sometimes, the translation is lost or we just don't get it. Men here is your chance. I told you I would support you! Women this is for you. If you are in a relationship with a man, looking for love or considering dating you need to look within. Can you give your man what he needs? A supportive relationship involves each of us giving our lover what THEY need. Men may have difficulty vocalizing what they need. I am their advocate here.

I give credit to Jonathon Aslay here for his work with mid-life women. You can visit his website through this link

Men want companionship. They want someone they can let down with, enjoy a bottle of wine, dinner, sunset, sunrise and share the experiences they wish to discuss with you. Men want a lover they can be themselves with.

What Is Companionship?

In a woman's words, it means friendship. Of course, your man doesn't want you to burp and fart like the men they might have a beer with, but if you've got 'em smoke 'em! Donald Sutherland has countless stories about his wife of forty years farting when they first met. He married her and has stayed with her throughout her expulsions and loved her anyway. That is part of, but not all of companionship. It is accepting their natural state, without derision, criticism, and complaint.

Companionship means someone you love to share your life with, sunsets, travel, and all of life. A companion is someone you want to be with because they understand you and love you anyway.

Men Want Acceptance

Women think they are helping a man by critiquing their words, spelling, actions and even thoughts. We are not helping we are criticizing. Unconditional love is required for a loving. supportive relationship. If you complain about your man's work, actions, ineptness you are tearing down his self-esteem, not raising him up and supporting him. Put the shoe on the other foot, would you feel he was helping you if he told you your sweater made you look like your grandmother? Would you feel loved and accepted if he told you your dinner sucked and he would rather have eaten at McDonald's? No, you wouldn't. So don't do it to him.

Men Want to Be Appreciated

I remember being young and stupid, yes, I look back and see how I missed the mark. I was married to a handsome, intelligent man who worked very hard to support our family. He travelled a lot in his work, was away quite a lot, leaving me with our children. But he was doing what he thought a man should do - making money. He made a lot of money over the years. I even married him because I knew he was going places. I didn't appreciate his long hours, dedication to our family through his work. Be careful what you wish for you just might get it, I did!

The fact that he missed us while he was away and wanted nothing more than to be home with us. He loved gold and I resented this time away from us. Yet, after giving so much to his work-life, he needed to cut loose in a sport he loved. I didn't get it. I divorced this man who gave me everything material I ever dreamed of. We were wealthy by today's standards. Was our marriage perfect? No, it wasn't because I didn't love myself. I didn't appreciate what I had. I blamed him for my unhappiness. I didn't appreciate him for what he did or was doing to support us.

When was the last time you told your man that you thought he was an amazing lover? Do you appreciate the fact that he never misses your birthday? Or do you focus on the fact that he doesn't buy you what you wanted?

Appreciation means to be grateful to our men for their handiwork and their efforts to bring home the bacon, or fix something. Men take care of fixing issues. It is what they do. It is what they are wired for. Thanking them for painting the doors, windows, fixing the leak in the bathroom vent on the roof, or cleaning the gutters. Appreciation means saying thank you without criticism. Just because the task wasn't completed to our satisfaction is no reason not to give gratitude with love. Women need to give up having things done our way all the time. Seeking perfection in everything will lead to an unhappy relationship beginning with you. Sometimes we need to just say "Thank you for doing that, I really appreciate you."

Respect

Men want to be respected. If you don't respect your man, your relationship is dead in the water. You won't have deep intimacy or the expanded love that you could have. Without respect, men will feel less than they are. A lack of respect will kill a loving relationship faster than anything.

If you don't respect yourself, you won't respect anyone else either. Women who have low self-esteem often don't respect themselves and need to work on this for their personal happiness and growth. It was one of my issues also. I didn't even recognize that I didn't respect myself. Often disrespect for the self comes from childhood trauma or molestation. (Call me or e-mail for this one!)

What does disrespect look like?

When we disrespect our men, we basically emasculate them. Yes, we cut off their balls with our words or criticism. Then we wonder why they are so gutless?!

We need to revere our men. Yes, and they need to do the same for us. Women are responsible for how the relationship travels. We set the ground rules. Include healthy respect or you will be very sorry.

The tone you request something or deliver a question speaks volumes. It is not necessarily your words but the tone that needs to be even, and loving. Cut the bitchiness or sounding like you are a Demon-seed. Remember you will win many more rounds with honey rather than vinegar. Play your cards with some wisdom.

SEX With A Capital "S!"

Men are wired to express themselves sexually. Without regular sex, their balls feel like they will explode (so I am told). Pressure builds every few days without ejaculation and they need to express this urge through sex. Women don't understand this because we don't have testicles.

Sex is a natural expression of our humanness and sexuality. Sex is a part of a loving relationship. Without sex, there is no intimacy. Sex opens men's hearts to express their deepest emotions, desires and brings them closer to us. When women refuse sex or don't want it, their men feel rejected, unloved and unappreciated. Part of being a man is the ability to lovingly pleasure their partner. Men show their love for us in many ways, the biggest though expression for most men is sexual. It is where men feel like men. Taking sex away from men creates derision, separation and shuts men down.

Sex is the greatest expression of our appreciation for them, their commitment and what they do for us.

Put all these together and you will get your man to commit to you. Leave off any one of these critical components and you will miss out on his greatness and deepest love.

I would love to hear what men think. Please write me an e-mail or message me on FaceBook. How accurate is this for your situation?
