What Are We Telling Our Children?

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

When I was 41 and conscious I gave birth to my daughter. Before I conceived, I was Guided to fast, cleanse and raise my vibration. I couldn't have carried a child so advanced without raising my vibration. I prayed for a spiritual daughter and was told she would be my gift. I had been told I wouldn't be able to have another child after my two sons.

My daughter was born awake. She remembered her past lives and her own children. She asked me one day when she was three, "Mom, you know my dad?" I said, "You mean, Rich?" She said, "No my other father." Then she told me that she and her children died in a fire.

My husband and I bore witness to her conversing with unseen spirits and channeling higher beings.

At age 8 she had pneumonia and said she was beginning to forget what it was like to be with God in Heaven and wanted to go back. Needless to say, I told her, "Oh honey, you don't want to do that! You need to stay here." Afterward, she fell into such a deep sleep, I was unable to awaken her for hours.

The time of conception, which I experienced there was a flash of light and the soul agreed to take form. During the first three months, I felt a flitting in and out of the soul but it didn't stay. At 120 days, I felt a quickening or movement and a considerable change when her soul took up residence in the body of my unborn child. Prior to that point, the fetus had a heartbeat, but no soul.

When a child is born within it is a fully developed soul. There is no such thing as a baby soul. Babies do not have cherubs inside them. No wonder that babies get so frustrated with us when we talk to them as if they are idiots without an awareness or consciousness.

The truth is babies see auras. Babies can tell who has an open heart and who doesn't. Notice when you smile at an infant where their gaze rests. It is usually above our heads or over our shoulder because they are looking at our aura or energy field.

Today, at a local Social Security office, filled with hundreds of people I witnessed something horrific. I watched as a woman told her six-month-old grandchild who was attempting to stand up with her wobbly little legs over and over again, "Hey, Big Chunky! You can't even stand up!" She repeated her admonishment "Big Chunky!" as if it was waving a magic wand over this child. She called this sweet little girl, "Big Chunky!" She never called her by her real name. As I watched I saw a gleam in the grandmother's eyes and stopped counting as she called her Big Chunky more than twenty times while I sat waiting.

Why would someone call a little child who is far from chunky something so derogatory? Often people are totally unaware of how powerful their words are to a small child. Children that grow up being compared to other siblings or gender related remarks "crying like a little girl," end up with low self-esteem.

Frequent criticism creates a child eager to please others. If any of this sounds familiar, you are not alone. In the ten years of energy healing of babies all the way to geriatric patients, I have found that all of us were imprinted by negative beliefs, fears, and thoughts of our parents, but especially our mothers while in the womb. Any arguments about whether the child is wanted or should be aborted created a pattern or rejection and abandonment before the baby is even born.

If our parents were worried about how they would manage to feed another child when a pregnancy is first detected their fears negatively affect the unborn child as well. Imprinting occurs when the mother has an emotional reaction to a conversation or event while pregnant. The mother's emotions are felt and create an imprint in the unborn child. A father's emotions also impact a child, but not as profoundly. An unborn child learns to recognize their parent's voices. When a newborn hears either parent, they will turn their head toward the familiar voices.

Scientist and the medical profession state that learning begins at birth. I contest that learning begins in the womb.

By the time I had my third child, I learned enough about babies to do many things differently. I didn't vaccinate. I felt certain that vaccination was causing Autism and Aspergers Syndrome. I breastfed all of my children but continued until she was ready to wean herself and kept our daughter in our bed, close to me. She didn't like being separated from me at night and cried for hours when her father insisted on keeping her in her crib. We had a very strong bond as a result of her early childhood being what I felt intuitively was best for her, rather than listening to someone's opinion.

I stayed at home with her rather than allowing another person to influence and raise our beautiful child. As a result, she grew up sweet, sensitive, soft and generous. My daughter has a light that radiates from her heart and eyes.

We Have A Powerful Influence

What if the words we speak to a child are like a blessing or a curse? What if the words we speak when a child is a so utterly fresh, clean and conscious soaking up everything the adults around them say and do as their lasting programs? What if these programs govern the child for his or her entire life? What if this unknowing grandmother's words cursed this little girl to a life of obesity and an inability to stand up for herself, or worse yet, Multiple Sclerosis or some other debilitating disease?

Words can hurt adults, they certainly hurt babies and toddlers as well. Wouldn't it be more loving and supportive to tell our beautiful little ones how wonderful they are encouraging their growth through the challenges they encounter so that they become adults with healthy self-esteem knowing that they are capable of doing and being anything they can dream

5 Ways To Keep That Youthful Glow By Aging Gracefully

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Aging gracefully is more than a spiritual experience, it is a way of life. If you want to turn back the hands of time, these five suggestions will help you remove the ravages of time not only from your face, body, and health but you will feel more vibrant, happy, youthful and alive!

Men before you leave this page thinking this isn't for you, think again. Men need to take care of themselves inside and out too. Men more than women are notorious for not taking care of themselves. Graceful aging is for everyone, no matter how old you are.

This October, I will turn 62. That's right, in less than two months I will celebrate and I mean celebrate my sixty-second birthday. I don't feel old; I feel eighteen inside. When other people tell me they are old, I tell them they can't possibly be because they are younger than me, and I am not OLD!

These photos were just taken, by Timothi Jane Graham in Pasadena California, August 21st, 2016.
None are airbrushed, or altered in any way. Nor have I had facial surgery, lipo, botox or any other such treatment.

No matter how old you are right now, aging is inevitable. How you live your life contributes to the way you look in your Golden Years.

Why should you care? Looking and feeling youthful, happy and vibrant is cause for celebration. Life is so much easier when you are happy, and feeling good. 40% of how you feel is up to you and what you do. When you take care of your soul, you begin to turn back the years. Your face softens, you radiate love from the core of your being.

I live alone, in the hot, dry desert of California. I have experienced lots of challenges and strife. I have had trauma, suffering and pain
both physical and emotional. Those issues no longer define me. I have overcome the past.

I am outside every single day, walking, dancing and playing in the desert sun. I go to the beach regularly, and I don't take drugs, medicines or any hormones to soften the ravages of time. It is what I do for my soul that keeps me young, ageless and timeless.

For years, I was on such a tight budget I couldn't afford expensive face creams or products to keep my face in tip top shape. Following are my recommendations for looking and staying youthful, beautiful and radiant well beyond your seventies and eighties whether you are alone, married or polyamorous and no matter your budget. Taking care of your body temple is a sacred act and daily practice.

Happiness more than anything is what has caused me to look younger now than I did five years ago. Working with me will help you get to happy!

1. Meditate daily. Even ten minutes to start is enough to get you going. Turn off your cell phone, music and telephone. Turn inward by sitting in silence focusing on the center of your chest, your heart chakra. Smile like Mona Lisa to your heart while you meditate. A smile to yourself shifts you. Meditation can help you remember things you have forgotten, it connects you with Source energy and puts you in a state of flow. Meditation will improve your ability to stay young because it reduces stress and softens you. Link to Divine Presence Process Meditation.

2. Do mantras daily. Mantras shift the brain to congruency. When brain waves are congruent we feel calm; stress is released, our body can heal itself. I had a tumor on the side of my thigh disappear in less than six weeks. Our body can heal itself when we give it what it needs. Our body and mind need stillness and quiet daily.

We create new neuro pathways with positive statements that we repeat silently in the background of our mind. Peeling carrots, cooking, driving, showering, walking, riding your bike, are all times when you can use a mantra silently without anyone knowing. Mantras can also be sung to music if you wish. An Indian Guru told me that mantras done silently are much more powerful than those out loud. When I began doing mantras silently, my mental chatter stopped completely. The craziness went away. A calm overcame my mind. Can you imagine a quiet mind?

3. Treat your body temple as your church. Would you defame, critique or destroy a church? Of course not. Constant self-criticism causes disease. Set healthy boundaries and respect yourself. Take care to get enough sleep, good food and nurture your soul daily. Drink plenty of water, avoid those substances that you know don't serve your highest good. Let food be thy medicine

4. Your home is your sanctuary, keep it clean, orderly and free of arguments. Arguing in your home causes negativity to stick to soft furnishings. You lay your head on a pillow after an argument with your spouse, and you are sleeping on a pile of negativity. If you have disagreements, do your best to do your discussing outside of your home and especially your bedroom.

5. Know that The Universe and God always have your back. You are always supported by the Universe. Everything you need is always given to you when you trust.

Worry is a useless emotion, one I know quite well. Worry causes stress and ages you. Trust and faith will help you overcome worry. Remind yourself of this fact by repeating the following statement(s) upon rising and right before sleep. Meditating helps you stay connected and reminded of your Divine nature. I have included my video for you to help you get started. All it takes is seventeen minutes each day to feel loved and open to receive love. If you have difficulty with any of these, contact me for a private session to get connected and clear.

The Universe always brings me what I need exactly when I need it!

The Universe is always and in every way orchestrating my life for me.

The Universe always supports me.

Once we connect to our personal Divinity, we are never alone.

I want to hear from you. Did this article help you? What are you currently doing to age gracefully?

My Latest Discovery About Trees: California Coastal Roadtip

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

I am in love! I have always loved the beach, but this weekend on an impromptu road trip, I found that the ocean is fabulous for rejuvenating, recharging and grounding, but nothing beats a forest for filling and feeding your soul.

On Saturday morning, I woke up with a whisper in my head, "Morrow Bay!" I weighed the value of visiting a new place versus going back to my old favorite, Hendrey's Beach in Santa Barbara. New won. I mapped the fastest route for us, almost four hours versus two-and-a-half. Still, the whisper of Morrow Bay continued to ring in my ears.

I loaded up a change of clothes and booked a motel 6 in Morrow Bay, California for my dogs and me. It was far from a budget weekend, being so close to the ocean, but the destination was a perfect balance between San Louis Obispo and San Simeon and the Hearst Castle. There was plenty to see and do.

The drive through the desert town of Bakersfield and the wine country was uneventful, monotonous even, so different than driving through Valencia, Fillmore and Santa Paula towards SantaBarbara. I drove by dead almond trees, thousands of which had been cut waiting to be ground up for mulch. Eventually, we arrived in Paso Robles wine country with hundreds, of acres of vineyards. I doubled back to stop at an avocado ranch for some huge fresh-piked Haas avocados.

We arrived in Morrow Bay after almost four hours of driving. We drove around the bay and headed for a quiet dog-friendly beach. The temperatures on the coast were thirty degrees lower than at home in the Mojave Desert; the cool breeze was welcome.

On our way northward to Hearst Castle, we stopped for pie in the quaint, artsy town of Cambria, at Linn's. The home of the famous olallieberry pie. It was tasty, not too sweet, but the crust was lacking the crispy texture that I prefer. I give their pie a 3 out of 5
because of the crust. Kohnen's Bakery in Tehachapi has the best pie I have ever had from California to Colorado.

We drove northward to the Hearst Castle, arriving right at closing time -  5:00 PM. I wasn't up for the entire tour and didn't want to leave my dogs in the car for two hours anyway.

Only four miles further north on PCH 1 was a viewing spot for elephant seals. Both dogs were quite intrigued by the huge mammals sunning themselves on the beach. One huge bull tossed flipper after flipper full of sand over his blubbery body.

San Simeon coastline, California Route 1
Seeing these basking sea creatures in person is an incredible and exciting sight. We arrived shortly after 5:00 PM. The sun was beginning to set which meant we had gorgeous views of the coastline after our visit with the elephant seals. The timing couldn't have been more perfect if I had planned it, which I didn't.

After an afternoon at the beach, a bath and a coastline drive, the dogs and I were pooped. After watching the sunset magnificently, we packed it in around 8:00 and headed for our motel.

Sunday morning was a cool 56 degrees; I had to put on a pair of jeans. The light windbreaker I brought with me wasn't enough for the morning ocean air. We headed south about twenty-five minutes
arriving in San Louis Obispo after watching the sun rise over the mountains on our way down through the passes. On our way back to Morrow Bay we found ourselves at a virtually unknown campground Cerro Alto in San Louis Obispo County just twenty minutes from Morrow Bay.

Entering the floor of the canyon surrounded by mountains on either side, the tree canopy welcomed us. Early in the morning, quiet except for the chattering of Jays, nuthatches, and tapping of woodpeckers the birds were undisturbed by our presence flitting and chattering among the tall branches. A dark brown bunny darted into the thicket on the side of the road as we approached. I had never seen a rabbit so brown in the wild.

The sunlight streaming through the overhead canopy and heady fragrance of fresh earth, composted leaves, fresh greenery was soothing to my soul. Ferns, poison ivy, and wildflowers dotted the underbrush. Several trees were laden with Spanish moss that I hadn't seen since I left Georgia.

I had forgotten how much I loved being surrounded by trees. The beach takes second place to being surrounded by a rich green canopy of huge 50-foot trees. I didn't realize how much my soul missed trees. Living in the desert, I have to go to a park to be around trees; they are few and far between.

The blanket of green enveloping me lifted my spirits. Breathing in the quiet, unplugging from my cell phone, computer and clients was exactly what my soul needed. No one to talk to. No one's problems to hear. Just me and the forest. My love affair is with the earth, one that forever supports me in my health, fulfillment, and connection. The twisted tree limbs overhead were magnificent and powerful. I get high being in nature naturally

The undergrowth and poison ivy tinged with pink and red, berries on the ends of limbs laden with food for the birds to overwinter. A muffled snort in the gully below us surprised both dogs. Their ears pricked up, as they stood stock still. I listened again for the rustling of leaves of branches breaking. A large buck snorted again and walked slowly into the thicket.

Mountain lions frequent the high mountains but visit campgrounds on occasion. We have to stay alert walking in nature, as it is the home of so many wild creatures. Part of the excitement of being in nature is that you never know what you will see or hear. Being awake and alert focused on the moment deepens your experience.

I lay on a grassy hillside among golden stalks ready to drop their seeds for next year. The dark green leaves overhead in the clear blue sky created a beautiful contrast as the Jays chattered and flitted from one tree to the next. Four woodpeckers flew over me, and I closed my eyes breathing deeply. My lungs expanded in the cool fresh air. I felt so grateful.

I love the beach. Trees bring a fulfillment that the beach cannot. We need a balance of both, water and wood to feed our soul. On this weekend I had the magic of both, and I am so grateful for all that I experienced. I returned home ready to be fully present and compassionate for my clients because I took care of my soul.

You Are Beautiful No Matter How You Look

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Beauty is at the core of our being. The more beautiful we feel, the more beautiful we look. Examine a tree in the springtime. A blooming tree knows it is beautiful innately. It doesn't try or attempt to be something it's not to be more beautiful.

You are beautiful  - a bloom of love at your core.

It's time we felt the beauty that is already ours without a rule book to follow or opinion of another to "know" that we are beautiful. Beauty is a radiance that comes from self-acceptance and diving deep into authenticity and personal power. The more beautiful you feel the more you radiate love and beauty to the world.

The more loving and accepting of yourself, the more beauty you see in others.

You need to love your body too!
Beauty comes from within. Your soul essence has a natural beauty. It has nothing to do with how large your booty or breasts are, or how small your frame is. Beauty is at the center of each molecule and every atom that is you.

Many people searching for love are resistant to love and are not aware of it. We reject a heartfelt compliment by saying, "Oh, this old thing?" Or "I don't know how you could say such a thing about me!"

We often have behaviors that reject love and compliments. We might want love, but when it shows up we send love packing! The exact opposite of what we desire. Old patterns come from fear of intimacy or being hurt, wounded or rejected in the past.

We can't truly love another until we fill ourselves up with love. Try the following on a daily basis. When someone gives you a compliment, accept it gracefully by saying, a heartfelt, "Thank you." Most people that don't feel loving toward themselves will put down a compliment. We might even push love away

Try these new behaviors daily and see how differently that you feel about yourself and others.

  1. Affirm your beauty in front of your mirror, "You are beautiful!"
  2. Give compliments to others, "Wow, you are so beautiful!" You have no idea what a small statement can do for another person. Giving compliments to others also is something that will make you feel good as well.
  3. Notice the beauty around you. There is beauty in simplicity, in plants, trees, in the face of a stranger, a newborn, an infant in a shopping cart. The more you begin to notice the beauty that surrounds you the better you will feel.

How To Love Yourself Fearlessly Everyday

When you notice the beauty in others, it is a reflection of the beauty within you. You are beautiful. You are loved. You are so worthy. Give to yourself and then give to others. See the joy on another's face when they hear those three simple words, "you are beautiful."

Jennifer is a love and passion coach and energy healer. She empowers women to love themselves fearlessly so that they show up in their relationships with their love tank full, in love with themselves with plenty to give to another.

If you keep repeating patterns or aren't happy with yourself, life or relationships set up your free discovery session to see how life could be with your love tank full happy with you! Find Jennifer's books on Amazon.com or set up your free discovery session with Jennifer here.

Communicating WIth Your Higher Self For Answers

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

You are not a human being in search of a spiritual experience. You are a spiritual being immersed in a human experience. Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

The high self is the real you. It is your soul essence, pure all knowing and beautiful. The high self is the Divine part of you that is unlimited and eternal. It is the part of you that inspires you, excites you and gives you the understanding of life's lessons.

Our High Self is our connection to infinity. It never dies and never ends. Our High Self has been with us since our soul's inception. It knows everything that has ever been thought, felt or experienced since the beginning of time. Our High Self is what gives us the Gut Guidance, that feeling of "knowing," that we experience that is unexplainable.

Though we are always connected with our high self and cannot be separated, the more we connect with our High Self on a conscious level, the better the flow of information. Until we become aware, we can connect consciously to our High Self we are considered asleep or unconscious.

Why You Need To Listen

Your high self is the best guide on the planet and elsewhere for accurate Guidance and information. Flashes of insight, premonitions and wisdom come from the high self. Your high self is trying to guide you to the best course of action.

The more we trust ourselves and the accuracy of this wisdom, the easier life becomes. When we fight the Guidance, we are fighting with ourselves. You may have a program of inner conflict which inflates your ego causing you to ignore the higher Guidance.

Ignoring Guidance?

When we ignore those gut feelings, it may be because we don't think they are valid or real. Just because you can't see it with your eyes or touch it with your fingers doesn't mean it isn't real. Medications, alcohol, prescription meds can all dull our senses which impede our ability to hear and feel those messages from our high self. Learning how to trust and listen helps us avoid pitfalls and have more ease in our lives.

How To Connect With Your High Self

Take a walk in nature. As you walk, ask questions and talk to your high self. You can do this out loud or in your head. Either way, your voice is heard.

Then after you have asked all you need to listen. Walk in silence

Notice what you feel, and see in your mind's eye. Messages can come in the way of pictures, videos in the mind or type-written messages like an e-mail. Sometimes you may hear a voice inside your head. Quieting the monkey chatter allows you to hear more clearly. An energy clearing or mantras daily in the background of your mind will help to quiet the monkey chatter.

If being still works better for you, lie down on the grass in a park. Listen to what you hear, notice what you feel. You can ask questions and talk, allowing time for a response in return. You aren't crazy! Your high self is a real part of you that holds the key to your happiness and soul purpose.

My personal story about not trusting my High Self:

After my divorce from Bill Gates in 1988, I began working for GTE as a secretary. I had been out of work for nine years raising my children. Being away from them was a challenge.

I hired a German au pere (nanny) for the summer to watch my two sons while I worked in Atlanta. The commute was long, and they became bored with only bicycles to ride and no car to take them places. At the end of the summer my oldest son, Adam pushed to have our nanny have my car to take them to the local skating rink and McDonalds for a treat. (Remember that this was in almost thirty years ago, McDonalds is not part of our current lifestyle)

Every time I thought about leaving Zonyia the car, I felt a pang in my gut like my stomach was on a roller coaster. It felt bad! Instead of trusting this feeling, I made arrangements to get a ride to work, leave Zonyia my  paid for VW. My guilt for the divorce and its impact on my children was what motivated me to ignore this Guidance.

I wasn't at work for two hours before I received an urgent phone call from the Marietta fire department. Zonyia had an accident right in front of our church and right next door to the Marietta Fire Department. My sons were transported via backboards to Scottish Rite Children's
Hospital and I needed to come immediately! My worst fears were realized. My children were in a terrible accident; my VW was totalled, and the au pere and her chatty best friend were both safe and unharmed.

The Upside Of This Accident

There is always a silver lining. I could have continued to dwell on the fact that my car was totalled. I could have blamed my au pere. Instead, I recognized that I was the one who didn't listen.

I had no credit after my divorce. Having to buy a new car to replace my VW gave me good credit and the ability to buy a house for my two boys. That home in Eagle Watch was their favorite place and had incredible memories for all of us. If the accident never happened, I wouldn't have learned these valuable lessons:

  1. Never ignore Guidance
  2. Trust that it is accurate.
  3. The silver lining was that I ended up with a good credit standing and the ability to get a loan for our lovely home.

Mystical Experiences That Guide Us

Your tough inner critic will question your sound mind. Quiet that inner voice by saying, "I don't have to listen to you!" Trust your gut. Or use a mantra like:

I am the light of The Divine inside me.

Reinventing The Body While Resurrecting Your Soul

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Deepak Chopra has a "new" program that talks about reinventing your body while you resurrect your soul. What's new about it? Nothing. I've known for many years that our thoughts create or break our vibrant health. When you change your thoughts from derisive and negative to loving and accepting consistently, your body heals.

Illness is our body's way of turning on our CHECK ENGINE light. When we ignore our body's signs disease develops.

We are meant to be happy vibrant and healthy free of Fibromyalgia, Epstein Barr (another auto-immune disease), depression, anxiety, worry, fear and low self-esteem. For more information on how I became happy with me and healed my life, you can read 5 Secrets To Happiness and Harmony.

What Is Low Self-Esteem?

Low self-esteem is a lack of confidence. When our self-esteem is low, we feel unworthy, unloved and undervalued. We usually don't respect ourselves, have poor boundaries and look for love and happiness outside of ourselves (relationships, wealth, material goods, success). We may also look for others to validate us, have difficulty making decisions or be wishy-washy.

What Are The Markers Of A Lack of Self-Love?

  1. fear
  2. worry
  3. anxiety
  4. the need to be in a relationship - codependency
  5. feeling small
  6. lack of personal power
  7. perfectionism
  8. obsessive compulsive behavior
  9. depression
  10. emotional reactivity
  11. concern yourself with what others think
  12. defensiveness
  13. lack consciousness, never enough
  14. blame
  15. feeling like a victim
  16. depression
  17. addictions of any kind even sex addiction
  18. sick often
  19. unhappy with your job, life, relationship, where you live
  20. challenging relationships

The Dark Side of Giving

Those with low self-esteem are usually selfless givers, at least for a while. They do their best to please everyone and may have difficulty taking care of their needs. Eventually, they become resentful that they are always giving and rarely receiving. When in a new relationship they may behave in ways that are contrary to their natural state so that the other will love them.

Often, a person with low self-esteem will end a marriage or relationship because they have lost themselves. They blame the other person for this, rather than taking responsibility for their patterns and beliefs.

Usually the happiest people have endured the greatest pain and suffering. JEM

What Are The Steps To Overcoming Low Self-Esteem?

  1. Everything happens for a reason. Your soul's true essence is pure LOVE. Know that whatever happened in your past got you to where you are today. Eventually, you will forgive everyone and recognize that The Universe was conspiring for your personal growth. (I am not kidding! When you recognize this rather than feel like a victim you have healed yourself.) Our purpose in earth is to grow, evolve and love. Enlightenment is our soul's highest purpose.
  2. Breathe deeply. Most people with low self-esteem eventually develop COPD because they didn't breathe fully most of their
lives. Remember to breathe. Breathing deeply affirms life.
  3. Be aware of what you are thinking. Change your thoughts mid-sentence to be supportive, nurturing, loving and accepting.
  4. Forgive everyone.
  5. Be grateful for what you have and where you are now.
  6. You are already perfect as you are. You are unique. You were meant to be as you are.
  7. Do mantras. Mantras are a statement that repeated will re-program your unconscious mind which is what governs your life without your awareness. Mantras can be as simple as, "I LOVE ME, or I AM LOVED, I AM SAFE, I AM SECURE."
  8. Meditate daily. Spiritual practice will help you connect with your true self (High Self) which will help to ground you.
  9. Physical pain is a sign of a lack of self-love which diminishes and can be eradicated completely with self-love and acceptance.
  10. Love and accept yourself the way you are NOW. Waiting for the perfect relationship, a huge weight loss to occur or something to change only delays the work that needs to be done. Nothing worth having comes without some work. This is a tremendous gift to you.
If you are ready for a life-changing transformation, I am your girl. You Make Me Feel Like A Natural Woman

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

My latest trip to Colorado and Sedona kicked my butt. I listened to my body and have allowed myself several days to recuperate. Today was the first day I felt like dancing and dance I did! Here is what dancing does for you mind, body and soul.

Ok, yes, the title means something else and yes, that's happening

When we are happy our soul expands. When we dance we can move from an inert state to a state of flow and joy in minutes - even seconds if we allow the music to take us. Below The Jacksons in their early days of innocence will make you feel happy and get you moving! You know you want to! There are other bonuses that dancing brings they are listed below.

Today I listened to Rick James, Michael Jackson and Marvin Gaye. Tomorrow I might listen to U2, AC/DC or Foreigner, I don't know. Whatever I listen to will move me out of the place I am in and raise my energy into a higher state. I choose music that makes me feel GOOD!

It doesn't matter if you love R&B, jazz or rock, music touches the depths of our soul. It can make us cry, smile, laugh and certainly feel. Why not get out of your comfy chair that isn't your friend and move your feet.

I dance outside because I feel the earth move under my feet. I feel the sky tumbling down!

This week Prince left the planet after an illustrious career, contributing musically in an enormous way. Like David Bowie Prince played many instruments masterfully, exhibited his sexuality and innovative style without concern for the masses. Prince was exceptionally talented and considered a creative genius.

I say a prayer of gratitude for him and his contribution to thousands of songs written by him, many performed by other artists, like Chaka Khan, The Bangles, Beyonce and many others. He was talented, intelligent and much more aware of what was going on here on this planet than many. I can hear the band playing in preparation for Prince's arrival, boy that man could dance, play and sing!

What does dancing do for you?

  1. Allows you to move your body as it was designed to move.
  2. Gets your heart racing.
  3. Expands your lung capacity.
  4. Tones your arms, legs, butt, stomach.
  5. Raises your vibration.
  6. Makes you feel happy.
  7. Prepares you for sex.
  8. Makes you a better lover.
  9. Makes your muscles stronger.
  10. Keeps you healthy when done daily.
  11. Makes you feel alive.
  12. Keeps you feeling sexy.
  13. Raises your hormone levels.
  14. Might even turn you on!

Practice Self-Love

Loving the self is the key to all healing. I have been called The Self Love Guru because the focus on my work is self-love. Everything comes from a lack of self-love - even depression and addiction. When we love ourselves unconditionally, our health, relationships, and life shifts in powerful ways. Instead of focusing on problems we begin to see the gifts and lessons along the way. We see signs that guide us rather than feeling that we are unsupported. Instead of fear we begin to strengthen our faith. Rather than living in fear, we are empowered and joyful. I highly recommend everyone take my Love Yourself Fearlessly six week course, my signature program. In one session, people are changed. In three, they begin to see changes in their lives.
