Love Takes A Leap of Faith And Bravery

By  Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Humans were meant to be partnered. We live longer when we have someone who cares about us and generally we are much happier than those who live alone. It is certainly more fun to have sex with a partner than by ourselves and shopping, eating and doing the mundane are much more enjoyable when we have someone to share our lives with.

Find out about my six-week course to shift core beliefs and patterns about love.

Yet, so many people live alone. Why?

We don't want to leap.

We block ourselves with our thinking. Do any of these statements sound like you?

  • There's no one out there who would love me
  • I'm too old
  • I'm not attractive enough
  • I'm not intelligent enough
  • I don't want to be hurt again
  • I want someone, but it's too painful to even think about
  • It's too much trouble to date
  • I don't even know what to do or where to start
  • What if I get hurt again
  • I don't want to go through another heartache or breakup
  • I'm too set in my ways
We focus on what we don't want rather than what we do want. We keep attracting exactly what we don't want. I will help you get past those blocks and get out of your own way to feel sacred, loved, appreciated and adored. Yes, it is possible.

Our beliefs stand in our way of having love. If we don't believe love is possible, we won't find it. If we feel we are unworthy of love, or unloveable, we won't have the bravery we need to go for it. We get in our own way.

It isn't that all the good guys have been taken, or that there are no women left worth having.

  • Clear those debilitating beliefs that prevent you from having love
  • Understand how your thoughts have created the life you have
  • Recognize the red flags and stop explaining them away
  • Notice when actions don't match words
  • Don't settle - you don't have to
  • Find out why we stay with people we shouldn't and get the tools to prevent repeating this damaging behavior
  • You deserve love
  • You are loveable

Tainted To True Love begins in May. Go beyond where you have before and take the LEAP to have the love you have been waiting for.

This course is highly beneficial to couples and singles. It will shift your negative thinking about love, your partner or potential partner.

Much Love to you!
Jennifer

Reinventing The Body While Resurrecting Your Soul

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Deepak Chopra has a "new" program that talks about reinventing your body while you resurrect your soul. What's new about it? Nothing. I've known for many years that our thoughts create or break our vibrant health. When you change your thoughts from derisive and negative to loving and accepting consistently, your body heals.

Illness is our body's way of turning on our CHECK ENGINE light. When we ignore our body's signs disease develops.

We are meant to be happy vibrant and healthy free of Fibromyalgia, Epstein Barr (another auto-immune disease), depression, anxiety, worry, fear and low self-esteem. For more information on how I became happy with me and healed my life, you can read 5 Secrets To Happiness and Harmony.

What Is Low Self-Esteem?

Low self-esteem is a lack of confidence. When our self-esteem is low, we feel unworthy, unloved and undervalued. We usually don't respect ourselves, have poor boundaries and look for love and happiness outside of ourselves (relationships, wealth, material goods, success). We may also look for others to validate us, have difficulty making decisions or be wishy-washy.

What Are The Markers Of A Lack of Self-Love?

  1. fear
  2. worry
  3. anxiety
  4. the need to be in a relationship - codependency
  5. feeling small
  6. lack of personal power
  7. perfectionism
  8. obsessive compulsive behavior
  9. depression
  10. emotional reactivity
  11. concern yourself with what others think
  12. defensiveness
  13. lack consciousness, never enough
  14. blame
  15. feeling like a victim
  16. depression
  17. addictions of any kind even sex addiction
  18. sick often
  19. unhappy with your job, life, relationship, where you live
  20. challenging relationships

The Dark Side of Giving

Those with low self-esteem are usually selfless givers, at least for a while. They do their best to please everyone and may have difficulty taking care of their needs. Eventually, they become resentful that they are always giving and rarely receiving. When in a new relationship they may behave in ways that are contrary to their natural state so that the other will love them.

Often, a person with low self-esteem will end a marriage or relationship because they have lost themselves. They blame the other person for this, rather than taking responsibility for their patterns and beliefs.

Usually the happiest people have endured the greatest pain and suffering. JEM

What Are The Steps To Overcoming Low Self-Esteem?

  1. Everything happens for a reason. Your soul's true essence is pure LOVE. Know that whatever happened in your past got you to where you are today. Eventually, you will forgive everyone and recognize that The Universe was conspiring for your personal growth. (I am not kidding! When you recognize this rather than feel like a victim you have healed yourself.) Our purpose in earth is to grow, evolve and love. Enlightenment is our soul's highest purpose.
  2. Breathe deeply. Most people with low self-esteem eventually develop COPD because they didn't breathe fully most of their
lives. Remember to breathe. Breathing deeply affirms life.
  3. Be aware of what you are thinking. Change your thoughts mid-sentence to be supportive, nurturing, loving and accepting.
  4. Forgive everyone.
  5. Be grateful for what you have and where you are now.
  6. You are already perfect as you are. You are unique. You were meant to be as you are.
  7. Do mantras. Mantras are a statement that repeated will re-program your unconscious mind which is what governs your life without your awareness. Mantras can be as simple as, "I LOVE ME, or I AM LOVED, I AM SAFE, I AM SECURE."
  8. Meditate daily. Spiritual practice will help you connect with your true self (High Self) which will help to ground you.
  9. Physical pain is a sign of a lack of self-love which diminishes and can be eradicated completely with self-love and acceptance.
  10. Love and accept yourself the way you are NOW. Waiting for the perfect relationship, a huge weight loss to occur or something to change only delays the work that needs to be done. Nothing worth having comes without some work. This is a tremendous gift to you.

Are You Living Life Or Just Waiting To Die?

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

I was in the Rosamond, California post office the other day, a rarity, I might add. I am not fond of governmental agencies, bureaucracy or authority. I am a rebel. I have always been rebellious. I was born on the heels of a hurricane, why wouldn't I be? I am here to bring forth positive change. I am a catalyst for change through love.

Standing in line is one of the reasons I avoid government agencies. I am not a conformist. Standing in line goes against the grain for me. While standing in my conformist line, I couldn't help but hear a man speaking quite loudly on his cell phone of the horrors of the world and how he can't wait to get out of here (he meant he was looking forward to dying).

Sometimes my inner guidance tells me to stay quiet; I got the go-ahead this day. I stopped in front of the loudly complaining man as I prepared to exit and said, "You have it backwards, my friend." He looked at me quizzically. "What do you mean?" I told him, "We are here to make the best of our circumstances, challenges and issues. We are here to create a life of heaven on earth, rather than only to focus on the bad or negative, and then look forward to escaping from life by dying. If you can't find something to be happy and grateful for here you won't find it in heaven either."

Life Is For Living

The people I know that have looked to escape life ended up with cancer or diabetes or some other horrible illness that left them in agony on their death bed. Trying to escape life, by dying, causes you to suffer more intensely. You miss the purpose of life. You miss out on the joy of living fully.

If you are focused on escape, you can't live in the moment. If you continue to say you want to leave, The Universe will allow you to, but it won't be an easy path.

Life is for seeing the contrast between the light and dark and choosing to focus on the light. Sure there are horrible events that occur daily on our planet. If we give energy to those events alone, we create illness, challenges and strife in our lives.

The Power of Choice

Life is about growing, evolving and learning from our past, rather than seeing our life as miserable seeing the potential for something better right around the corner. There are always options. There are more than one or two ways to do anything. The Universe is infinite. Therefore, you are infinite. You have infinite abilities and choices in each moment. Allowing yourself to see a path out of your circumstances is choosing life. Thinking you have hit the end, or have no choice is choosing death. You always have a choice. Even not choosing is a choice.

Choose Life

How does one go about consciously choosing life? Following is my personal list. I live life to the fullest every day. I never know which day will be my last.

  1. Love fully. Give it all! Holding back love, affection, appreciation or sexual expression is not loving fully. When we give totally, we allow ourselves to be vulnerable, barring our soul to our partner allowing them to see our weakest and darkest selves, as well as our brightest version of ourselves, is loving fully. Leave nothing on the table. Know that you have done what it takes to allow love in, by giving fully. The more we love ourselves, the greater ability we have to receive love as well. Love is in an endless supply as long as we Source ourselves first.
  2. Tell your friends and family you love them like you mean it. Offering a trite or off the cuff "I love you too!" without any feeling does not count. I always tell my adult children, mother and brothers I love them with feeling. My progeny is quite comfortable with my expression of love, my brothers not so much. I don't give a crap. At least this way they know they are loved, there is no doubt. I never end a conversation with my loved ones without letting them know they are loved.
  3. Find something to be happy about every day. If you can find nothing else, be happy about the sun shining or the rain falling. We always need rain for plants and trees to grow. Look up instead of down. When you focus on the good instead of what is going wrong, it shifts your perspective. Even when things fall through, recognize that there is something better coming through for you. The Universe is always conspiring for you!
  4. Wake up Grateful! The first words in my head in the morning are, "Thank you for another day of life." It is a Native American prayer that I heard years ago, and I use it daily. When we begin to recognize that each day is a gift, we see the preciousness of each moment as well.
  5. You are NEVER ALONE! Thank The Divine daily for the love of your life, and watch your world shift. When you focus on how alone you are, you are coming from a place of lack. Alone is all you will ever be. Instead, see the sun, the moon, the stars, the plants the trees, the birds, the rocks, the waterfall as gifts to show you how loved you are. Each of these is alive with the energy of The Divine - LOVE! How could you be alone? Besides, what you see are the unseen spirits, Angels, Devas, Fairies that also love you unconditionally. Oh yes, they exist too. I told you I was a rebel.
  6. Use Your Imagination. Your imagination will assist you to create a happier day, a brighter life and the assurance that if you continue reaching for a higher vibration, love yourself, your life and envision something better you will create it. Einstein said imagination was infinitely more valuable than intelligence. If you can envision it, you can create it.
  7. Feed Your Soul! Meditate. Connect with the earth and go within every day. There are many ways to feed your soul; sitting in a garden, walking outdoors and disconnect from the distractions of power chords, telephones, the Internet for a happy centered life. There is no Internet in heaven! There is also no sex!
  8. For Goodness Sakes Have Conscious SEX! Making love, looking at your partner, breathing them in, will make you feel alive faster than anything on the planet. If you hate sex, you hate yourself. There I said it! It is true. You can't love yourself and hate sex; it isn't possible. Masturbating twice or three times a day is totally unconscious by the way, in case you were wondering. You are attempting to escape your pain through masturbating. How is that working for you? Not very well.
  9. Touch and be Touched. The touch of another animal, or human can ground us, affirm life for us and open up our emotional body to release. If you don't have anyone to touch
you get a massage at least once a month. Heck, I was at the Apple store last night, and the gentleman that helped me was so attentive I touched him on his arm as I thanked him and looked him in the eyes. He was sweet, kind and you know, technical. Geeks need love too. He was so helpful and understanding of my lack of technical expertise, I appreciated him, and I wanted him to know.
  10. Rescue a dog or cat. There are so many animals that are
euthanized every day, they would love to have a companion to love and be loved by. A pet can give you love, be there for you when you come home and accept you as you are. There is nothing like the love of a rescued pet to make you feel alive and loved. Dogs are wonderful for so many reasons because they require walking, they help you move your body daily so that you live a healthy life. Rescuing a pet is a win-win, it saves a life and gives you some love.
  11. Dance like nobody is watching. If you are always worried about what others think of you, you aren't living life to the fullest. Get out of your freaking arm chair and shake that booty! Give it all you've got. Crank up the tunes and have some fun. Move your body, it was built to move not sit. Dancing will shift your mood in less than three minutes. I promise.
  12. Laugh like no one is listening. Do you cover your mouth to hide your smile when you laugh? If you do, you fear life. You may fear being seen. You are trying to contain your joy. Joy is not meant to be
contained! It is meant to be experienced fully! Like an orgasm, don't hold back. ENJOY your laughter.
  13. Love like there is no tomorrow. Waiting for your husband or wife to change means you are not living fully. Love them the way they are. Unconditional love is all about loving others as they are, rather than attempting to make them a cookie cutter version of yourself. Love yourself like you are the last person on earth. Love yourself like your life depends on it because it does!
  14. Live a life without regret. If you work too much and don't have any energy for your family when you come home, you
will regret what you missed. Show up fully. Be present with your loved ones and let them know they are loved.

Happiness Jump Start: 22 Ways To Increase Happiness Now

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Happy people live differently than those who are not happy. Being a happy person myself, I can share the things that bring happiness to me on a daily basis. I wasn't always happy. I have found like others who are now happy, that it is a choice, and it comes from inside.

It is easy to blame a job, relationship, another person, parent, place you live or the weather for your unhappiness. If you continue to do so, you will find you miss out on the good things that come your way and the many ways you could be living in happiness right now. When you are happy, you will find that everything in your life becomes easier, relationships improve.

I have created a three-part audio program, Happiness Jump Start, which is available through my website. There are three hours of energy moving, pick-you-up happiness exercises and things to do right now all the way to Quantum Happiness and Living in The Flow. This program is a great value for three hours that you can listen to over and over again. This program will shift you, raise your vibration and help you get started feeling happy. Trapped emotions in your unconscious mind will be released as well. It will teach you the things to do and not to do that rob your happiness.

If you follow even half of these suggestions, you will find yourself happier tomorrow than you are today!

Here are 22 ways to begin being happy now:

  1. Choose happiness. Each day INTEND to be happy at the beginning of your day. We have to change our inner state to be happy. Think, "I choose to be happy!"
  2. Be Grateful. Every day is a gift. Be happy to be alive today. Say a prayer of gratitude for being alive today. Gratitude is a high vibrational expression of love. It raises your vibration. Gratitude will help you begin your day on a high note. Gratitude is the fuel to help you manifest your desires.
  3. Implement positive thoughts. It is possible. I have done it. You can do it too! You have the goods. Your energy field will expand and people will see you as more powerful when you are positive. Griping, complaining about all the negative things you have going on in your life will increase and get bigger. Wherever you focus your thoughts will become a bigger issue. Misery is the gift that keeps on giving. Catch yourself when you are thinking a negative thought. Course-correct in the moment. It will make you conscious of your negative thinking in the moment. Within two weeks, you will begin to course correct as you think your thoughts. In 30 days, you will create the positive habit to think positively.
  4. Smile. You will be amazed at how different you feel when you put a smile on your face. Your physiology will change when you smile. Notice your face as you walk by a window or mirror. Do you look happy? Or does your face reflect misery? Put a smile on your lips, it will help you shift your thoughts as well.
  5. Be Present. When you live in the present, you will find the small things right in front of you. Focusing on what you did or didn't do in the past, keeps you stuck in the past. Living in the past and repeating your old story to friends and yourself drags those events into your future. Let it go. It is time to focus on what is in front of you. You might even find love standing right in front of you when you lift up your eyes to see.
  6. Discipline is the path to happiness. Go to bed before 11:00. Get up at the same time every day. Meditate before you leave the house in the morning. Exercise on a schedule. You will find that when you show up on time, or early you feel better. The Universe loves order. A daily regime makes you feel more productive when you have discipline and a regime. Implemented in your life. Staying up late leads to weight gain. Going to bed before 11:00 will prevent this.
  7. Forgiveness. Forgive everyone. Let go of the past. Resentment and unforgiveness create a burden for you. No matter how hurt you have been, when you don't forgive others, it creates dark energy for you. Unforgiveness is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die. Do the Ho'oponopono Prayer to forgive, it is for you.
  8. Eat a healthy diet. When you respect yourself, you will eat a healthy diet. A healthy diet will make you feel more positive. You will suffer less from depression and illness. Avoid fast foods, processed sugar, high fructose, chemicals and processed foods.
  9. Go to bed early. Sleep deprivation leads to depression. You will find you have a more positive attitude when you get enough sleep.
  10. Get outside in the sunshine! Everyone needs the sunshine. Those who live in northern climates have more depression due to lack of sunshine. Walking outside at sunrise is healing.
  11. Exercise daily. You don't have to have a gym membership to exercise. Walking is good exercise. Being out in nature makes you feel good and doesn't cost anything. Walk outside daily! Being healthy is a way of life. Daily exercise is a way of life. You will feel more positive when you do.
  12. Give to others. Giving to others makes us feel amazing. Tipping your wait staff, or giving to the homeless will bring you positive feelings and joy. Give someone the clothes you aren't wearing anymore. Give a compliment to someone you exchange with. You will be amazed at how positive you both will feel when your complement is heartfelt. Giving to others gives back to you.
  13. Faith. You don't have to go to church to have faith. Believing in something will help you be happier and doesn't mean you need religion. A deep spiritual connection brings you joy. A connection with the earth and nature will also bring you joy, as it connects you to a higher power.
  14. Have a personal creed. What do you stand for? Do you stand for animal rights? Do you stand for women's rights? Do you protect the rights of children? What do you believe in? Write down what you stand for. Knowing what you stand for can expand the love in your heart.
  15. Get organized. Do you know where your keys are? Can you find what you need when you are getting ready for your day? Organize your closets, drawers and shoes. Order toiletries so you can save time. Getting organized can give you inner peace and harmony. Having order in your home will increase your happiness. Get rid of clothes you don't wear, or broken items.
  16. Personal Freedom. Choose to live your life your way, without having to ask others for approval. You may have to work hard for your freedom. If friends ask you to do things you don't want to do, and you do them anyway, you are not exercising your personal freedom. Let your heart decide. Do friends make your heart soar, or make your energy drop? Are your friends anchors or sails? You have the right to choose who you have around you. Being an entrepreneur leads to personal mastery and freedom.
  17. Meaningful work. Doing what you love can bring you happiness. Personal satisfaction means much more than money. Meaningful work can bring you immense satisfaction.
  18. Experience comedians, funny movies. Watching movies or television shows can relax you and make you feel happier. Moderation is the key.
  19. Family. Our family is important. Healing issues with your family members will allow you to feel peace. There is nothing more disruptive to your energy field than having emotional distance and unhealed relationships with family members.
  20. Community. Being involved in your community can bring you pleasure and happiness. A connection with those you live near can involve volunteering at a shelter, or serving Thanksgiving for homeless. Community events can bring you great joy.
  21. Get a pet. Happy people often have pets. When you live alone, a cat can keep you company, give you someone to love and that will love you back. We all need someone to love while you are waiting for your loved one to show up, get a pet. There are
many adult animals available at local shelters that would love to have you are their loving caretaker. A dog needs more care than a cat, but certainly will love to walk with you out in nature!
  22. Remember to play and have fun. No matter how old we are, we need to play. What brings you joy? What is fun to you? Do something that is fun every day. Play doesn't have to have a cost. You can play cards, take a drive to a beautiful place, or spend time with those who you enjoy. Play will bring you happiness.

Are You Truly Ready For Love?

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Wanting love and being ready for love are two entirely different subjects. Many of us have longed for love, but ended up pushing it away when it was right under our noses. Sometimes we are totally unaware of how we say, "NO!" to love. I speak from experience. I can name countless times when nice men wanted to love me and did. Yet I rejected them for one reason or another.

We often look for a specific type of person. Even when past history has shown us that this type isn't good for us, we continue beating our heads against a brick wall anyway. When we don't love and accept ourselves completely, we attract others who have similar issues, or are insecure also. Two people who don't love themselves, can lead to disastrous results in relationships, or marriage.

Often we are presented with opportunities we don't recognize as good ones because the people who show up, don't look like what we think we need. Sometimes, we need a mental and emotional shift to attract the type of person who will actually love and treat us well. There are certain criteria we need to have to be able to attract love to us. See how many you have already:

See how many on this checklist you have already. Wherever you are lacking, I can help you get up to speed.

  1. Your root and sacral chakras are open. You feel hot and sexy!
  2. Your heart is open.
  3. You are in love with you.
  4. You have a clear vision of the relationship you want to create. You know what you want and what you don't want, with clarity.
  5. Your life is in order and you feel happy with you and your life.
  6. You have healed your life story and all your past.
  7. Can you be authentic, open and take risks?
  8. Are you active socially? Love won't be delivered to your door.
  9. Can you put yourself out there, without worrying about being heartbroken, or failing?
  10. Can you be ALL IN, no matter what?

If you have challenges on any of this list, I can help you. It is what I do. I help people get to the place where they are ready to love and be loved. If you have had your heart broken and are totally frozen in fear of that happening again, I can help you. If you keep attracting the same types that don't support you, I can also help clear patterns, trapped emotions that continue to repeat this pattern for you.

The Root Chakra and Sacral Chakra

I hear lots of women say they want love, but not sex. This is an indication of the root and sacral chakra being shut down. You can't have a connected lasting love without having a sexual chemistry. It is the foundation for a long-lasting passionate love. Thinking you can fake it till you are married is inauthentic, which sets you and the person you are trying to attract up for heartache and failure.

If your first two chakras are closed, you are probably not interested in sex in the least. Our systems are meant to be in balance. An imbalance can create health and financial issues for you, as well as creative blocks.

I can help you through various means over the phone, in a private session. Eating red foods, meditating on the root and sacral chakra is imperative. Having your sexual chemistry turned on is essential. In fact, I mention it first because 50 percent of marriage fail because many people think that they can trick someone into marriage and then not have sex afterward.

Emotions

You need to be able to express your emotions in a healthy way to have a healthy relationship. If you blame others, or feel like a victim, there is work to be done. I am offering a copy of my two books for those who sign up in July for private coaching. Mention July special to me.

Connect with Jenifer here to set up your discovery session. If you are already in a relationship, don't feel you need to dump them. Not the case at all. When you love yourself completely often issues will then resolve themselves without you having to do anything. Jennifer helps you resolve mental chatter, chaos, drama, anxiety, depression, loneliness and longing.

Jennifer helps you clear away the thoughts, beliefs and emotions that have you stuck. She has been on her own healing journey of study, learning and growing for over 30 years. You can find out more about her on her website.

Stairway To Heaven, Or Highway To Hell?

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Life is what we make it. We can choose to make life the best life we can, focusing on questioning what we think, rather than believing all those crazy thoughts rolling around in our heads.  In this way we grow from what we did yesterday. The flip side of this proverbial coin is to focus on the negative, pinpoint all the things we can't stand about other people. This negativity will create hell on earth for you making your journey long, hard and full of challenges. When we complain, bitch and moan about our life circumstances,  constantly looking over our shoulders wishing we hadn't done what we did or made the choices we made, we are resisting. The choice, is always ours.

Each of us is having our own life experiences. Lessons come along the way. If we don't learn our lesson, we end up repeating similar experiences until we do. I write about the experiences I have, or about what I am guided to write about. Sometimes, these stories or articles hit home for you. I would like to hear from you when they do. Your experiences can help others with their journey.

This Christmas for me was challenging because of logistics. I had to take the slow road - or longer route to Colorado to avoid bad weather and to be safe. It added a significant amount of driving to my already long trip. In total, I drove 4,000 miles and flew a few more to Toronto. The first week was spent with my
adult off-spring. My youngest, Ariel was delighted as this was the first time in 13 years that she woke up in the same house on Christmas morning as her brothers. There is a 12 year gap between Ariel and David and almost 15 between Ariel and Adam. Naturally, their life paths took them off on their own journey before Ariel was out of middle school. We are a very close-knit family. Getting together on a regular basis helps to maintain that closeness. During our time together we painted, ate, hiked and just spent time together. We were not busy doing anything else other than visiting with one another.

My trip back to Canada was one I had put off for over 2 and a half years. My mother is 92. To those who know me, I refer to a trip home as a "Button Pusher's Convention." I have had so many
My mother, aged 92
experiences over the past three weeks that I have enough to write another book, or at least three weeks of blog posts. I will share the stories one at a time.

I am very happy to say, that I was able to visit with my mom, peacefully. It has not been that way in the past. I was able to speak my truth with compassion and love. We enjoyed our time together. My mother showed her love for me by baking 16 different types of squares, cookies and Christmas cake. I broke my sugar fast and enjoyed my mother's baking.
On my way home I travelled through intense fog for over two hours. I could not see more than 50 feet in front of the car. I heard, "TRUST." So I did. It was like driving with my eyes closed. I arrived in Williams, Arizona, near the Grand Canyon to check into my hotel. When I got out of my car and looked in the backseat, I saw my little dog Yoda was not with me. I shrieked, "YODA!" I searched under all the blankets and dog beds. He was not in my car. I had stopped in Williams, because I was tired. This meant an immediate drive back well over 100 miles! I thought back to all the places I had stopped to take photos and left my car door open. I stopped at the Meteor Crater near Winslow, Arizona. That stop was 6 miles off Interstate 40. In the middle of nowhere. There could be coyotes, foxes or cars that could endanger him. I never thought he would jump out and adventure out on his own. I certainly did not see him get out, or around the outside of my car. I also stopped at an abandoned Native American store, where there were still tipis and a huge dream catcher. Both of my dogs were out running around there and peed. I remember putting both dogs back into the car. After I turned the car around I got out one more time and took a photo of a huge dream catcher. Probably the largest in the world. I walked into the abandoned store where someone had smashed all the display cases and taken what was in them. The store felt very sad. Outside the store were huge petrified tree logs. I took photos there also. Maybe he was there?

Near Big Guns, Arizona

By this time, it was pitch dark and I had not eaten all day. I had to eat and stay awake. I stopped to pick up some food and found the couple that had checked in at the same I had, sitting in the Pines restaurant in Williams.  They were kind. They told me they were from Calabasas, California. Andy invited me to sit with them. I had ordered my food to go, as I had to find Yoda. They said they would pray for Yoda's safety. I called all my children and asked them to pray for Yoda to be found safely. I knew I needed everyone's help. I felt strangely calm. I called on all those who had crossed over recently. I asked for my friends on the other side; John Armbruster, Rich Resuta, Diana Davis and Joanne Butler to assist. I asked them to put a holy bubble of Divine White Light around Yoda and keep him still. I didn't want him wandering towards the highway, or being eaten by another animal.

I drove like a bat out of hell, praying the whole time. I kept thanking the angels and God for keeping Yoda safe. I said my prayers as if I had already found Yoda, safe and alive. I stopped first at the Meteor Crater road. I got out and whistled and yelled for Yoda till my voice was hoarse. I heard, "He's not here." I headed back to 40 East, towards Albuquerque and stopped at the abandoned store. I never stopped praying. I drove in, parked and quickly got out looking all around in the dark for Yoda. Fortunately, there was a light still lit on the top of the abandoned store roof. I called and called Yoda as loudly as I could. Nothing. I began to walk towards the petrified wood in front of the store. I called him again. "It's mommy Yoda!" He came barreling
from behind one of the tipis. At first he ran close but would not come right to me. I felt he might have been fearful that I would be angry with him. I called him again and he came to me. I clasped him in my arms and hugged him. I immediately said a prayer of gratitude. John the angels, God and all my deceased friends had kept him safe.  I was so grateful. I cried while I hugged him. I picked him up, placed him in the back seat then called everyone to say thank you!

The Moral of This Story
And The Lesson

I took a selfie, one that I will never forget. This was my lesson about being present. Had I not been so distracted by the beauty of the setting sun and all that was around me, taking photos, I would not have lost Yoda. Our cell phones cause us to be distracted. They ring when we are in the middle of hauling groceries to our cars, or when we are having important conversations. They don't need to be in our hands 24/7. Being present means paying attention to our surroundings and our loved ones. I am making a course correction to drive when I am driving. I will stop and take photos, making sure that the doors are closed and my dogs are safe. Learning is what life is all about. Making changes
along the way helps to keep us and our loved ones safe and protected.

Play Like Your Life Depends On It!

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Play is what happy people engage in. Play is what children understand and love to do.  Yet, as people grow older we often forget that play is still a large part of our lives. Life's circumstances and events can bog us down and create sadness, depression and rigidity that precludes play.

In my research for play, I googled the word happiness. 334,000,000 people have googled happiness. Obviously there is a thirst for this elusive thing called happiness. Since I reside in
this place of happiness, I will share with you my recipe for living in a state of joy and happiness. Yes, play is a large part of being happy.

Growing OLD Is Not An Option

We are ageless. Only our perception of aging or judgment of it is what makes us age. We can be young, with it, and playful till the day we die. This is how we maintain good health, and joy in our lives. Each year we have another birthday. The number of birthdays we have does not determine how we feel or even look. It is our judgment or feeling about aging that causes us to look old.

Your Inner CHILD is REAL!

Each of us has an inner child. The sooner you forgive yourself and apologize to your inner child for any wrong-doing or hurt caused them, the better. This inner child is ageless and always present. Connecting with your inner child will help you get in touch and reaquainted with the ageless part of you. Your inner child wants to play with you. Ask your inner child what they want to do. Often it is a trip to the beach, playing hopscotch, laughing through games or movies, or just a suggestion of something FUN!

What Happens When You Connect To Your Inner Child?

Magic! You ignite the fire of passion for living, joy and happiness. Connecting to your inner child is what will light the fire under your butt and get you out of your easy chair complaining about your crappy life.

When you stop complaining and begin to say thank you for being alive, you will also find other things that are wonderful to give thanks for. Instead of looking down, you begin to look up. Your spirits pick up. Depression lifts. A weight or burden will lift.

Forgiveness

While in Canada, I worked with someone with an enlarged heart and diabetes. His heart was broken very early. His lifetime career was a tough one, which needed a closed heart to go to work each day. Now almost 70, he needed to forgive himself and some others. He didn't want to. I assured him that this work was for him and him alone. He trusted and allowed me to work with him. In minutes a weight of a lifetime lifted and he began to cry. A man that had not cried in over 50 years! This crying allowed light in. It allowed stress to be released. It allowed him to tap into more joy, happiness and LIVING!

There is so much more to this act of play. I will continue later. Right now, I am heading for the airport and returning to the U.S. Remember play begins in your heart. With a closed heart you cannot really play. Begin giving thanks. Gratitude will allow more light in so you can open up to receive more GOOD!

The Joy Of Giving Presence

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

The holidays can be a beautiful time to connect with loved ones, share laughter and our presence. To many, the holidays can be extremely stressful - even depressing. The holidays reveal to us what is amiss in our lives, showing us what we need to focus on.

I remember Christmases past when I tried desperately to make everyone around me happy. I fussed over gifts and wrapping. I caused myself stress looking for the "perfect" gift for each of my loved ones. There was always someone that wished for something other than what I chose for them.

My oldest son was the most difficult to please. I would wait in anticipation for his facial expression when he opened his gifts. I was often depressed after the gifts were opened, even though we were all together. My focus was on the gifts, rather than the
presence. I was not in the present. I tried to make others happy. It was an impossible task, one that I have gratefully let go of. It is not our responsibility to "make" anyone happy. The only one we are truly responsible for is us.

Being Happy With Who We Are

It is interesting that in the act of becoming, there is a letting go involved. Allowing ourselves to be really seen by our loved ones, offers a transparent version of ourselves, without subterfuge, barriers or phoniness. Offering others our vulnerability allows them to get close, revealing our authentic presence.

We have to let go of people pleasing. We have to let go of trying to be perfect, or to find the perfect gift. There will always be someone that will be disappointed with what we have given, or how we have given it. We can't be ourselves when we focus on others happiness or comfort all the time. We cannot be happy with us, when we make others' happiness our responsibility. We cannot be happy with us when we are constantly trying to please others. We cannot be happy with our lives when we refuse to let others see our true self.

Everything will line up perfectly when knowing and living the truth becomes more important than looking good. ~Alan Cohen

What Is Authenticity, Really?

When you are authentic, you are you all of the time. There is no other way for you to be, but completely you. You are not one way around one group of friends and another around those in the office. You are the same at home with your neighbors as you are on a
plane, in a supermarket or in a beauty salon. There is no effort involved remembering what you have been or acted like with whom. The only way you can show up anywhere is by being truly you, rather than a version of what you want to show the world. When we can be vulnerable and real with ourselves and others we become truly present, sharing our presence with the world and those we love.

The authentic self is the soul made visible. ~Sarah Ban Breathnach

How Do We Feel When We Are NOT Authentic?

When we are inauthentic we feel out of sync with our values, preferences and abilities. We might feel uncomfortable in our own skin, because we strive to be something that we are not. The need for everything to be perfect may pervade our lives, which is exhausting. We often try to run away from who we truly are, which leads to avoidance in other areas of our lives. We avoid being vulnerable because we don't want others to see our soft chewy tootsie roll center. When we avoid situations we cannot possibly be present fully. We are not sharing our authentic presence.

It Takes Guts - But It Is So Worth It!

Being authentic liberates us from trying to be perfect, or something we are not. Stepping out into the void of the virtual unknown is required. We need to face our inner demons. We need to know and understand ourselves to be authentic. Often the very thing we are afraid to let go of is who we think we need to be versus, who we truly are. Letting go of our concern about what others think of us is freeing. Liberating is the goal, letting go of control  is the way.

Authenticity requires us to accept all of ourselves, rather than just the best or smartest parts. Being authentic is embracing our humanity. It is a recognition that we are all human.

What About Our Mistakes?

We have all made choices and decisions that didn't turn out the way we hoped. All of those experiences are part of who we are. Whether it was a relationship or marriage that didn't last, an education we don't use, our experiences teach us more about ourselves. Looking at our experiences without judgment and recrimination is required. We begin to recognize that our past does not have to equal our future.  Our past offered us lessons and gifts that help us make better choices through our personal inner discovery. Our self observation and inner journey is on-going. It never ends. We constantly morph and change with each new day. That is the wonderful thing about change. We can allow ourselves infinite possibilities each and every day.

Acceptance of our imperfection is the cornerstone of being totally real with ourselves. With the acceptance of all of you, comes the recognition of your talents, abilities and gifts. Rather than being fake, shallow or a card-board one dimensional being, you see the multi-faceted beauty of the genuine you. Acceptance allows happiness to flow in, where control was previously.

Running Away

We can run, but we can't hide. We always show up wherever we are. We cannot run from the chaos of our lives anymore than we can run away from ourselves or choices.

Sex and Authenticity

Orgasms and pleasure can allude you when you are inauthentic. Faking orgasm is inauthentic. It is not being true to yourself or your partner. If you fake orgasm, you also fake other areas of your life. Get real, be honest and let go of inauthenticity. (Read my book)

3 Steps To Living Authentically with Presence

  1. Evaluate what you truly care about. What are the most important things in your life? Align yourself with those criteria. Don't allow others to pull you off your center. Sometimes we base our lives and beliefs on what our parents believed. When we really examine these core beliefs, are they truly ours?
  2. Let go of judgment. Often we judge things that are different than ourselves or that we don't understand. Judgement is a rigid way of thinking. Looking at others and especially ourselves without the magnifying glass of harsh criticism will allow us and others to be human and imperfect. We will stop running away from ourselves and being more present when we become more accepting.
  3. Pay attention to the way your body feels. When you are in alignment with your core beliefs you can feel it. Your body feels good, comfortable and grounded. Your body will never lie to you. It will however let you know when you are out of alignment. Paying attention to people or events that don't concern you can often cause you to feel stressed, or out of alignment. Notice when you get upset. Are you upset with someone else's actions or your judgment of them? Ask,  "is this really my concern? Do I need to take this on?" You have the power to change the way you react to situations and how you feel. How you think about things causes your reactions. Always come back to your inner being. How do I feel? What is making me feel this way? Can I process this differently? How can I change the way I feel about this? How can I go with the flow of life instead of trying to make things happen a certain way.

The Heart Connection

When you are authentic you connect deeply with other people. People feel the truth of who you are. They see it in your eyes. Being authentic changes your interactions from superficial to deep and meaningful connections. You let go of what others think of you. You stop taking everything so personally. People will remember you for being genuine. Not everyone is ready to be authentic or vulnerable. It can make some very nervous and uncomfortable. Accepting the fact that we will never be perfect can be challenging for some. Being authentic and offering your presence to another is the biggest gift of all. You connect heart-to-heart. Love is what joins us together. In the presence of love, there is no fear. True love is all about acceptance. We cannot have real love when we don't love and/or accept ourselves the way we are. Being true to yourself will bring you lasting happiness that striving for perfection or people pleasing never will.

You Hold The Key

You are already worthy. You are already loveable. We all just want to be loved and accepted. The first person we have to learn to love and accept is us. Remember to give yourself permission to be imperfect. We are human after all, by definition, we are that. You already have everything that you need inside of you. You are whole, perfect, loving, kind, harmonious and beautiful. Enjoy the gift of giving your presence.
