The Third Eye: Why They Don't Want You To Know

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

The pineal gland is an endocrine gland like the pituitary, thyroid or pancreas that secretes a hormone, in this case, melatonin which is associated with sleep. Much wisdom about God and the third eye has been hidden but can be found even in the Bible. The third eye is considered the seat of the soul and where we connect with God.

Matthew 6:22 The light of the body is the eye: If therefore your eye be single, your whole body shall be full of light.

location of the pineal gland in the human brain

This powerful spark of God is our connecting link between the physical world and the spiritual world The pineal gland is associated with an inner knowing, intuition, wisdom, truth, and is our source of joy and infinite bliss - permanently. It is shaped like a pine cone and located in the midline of the brain attached to the posterior end of the roof of the third ventricle.

Scientists thought that the pineal gland was a vestigial organ like the appendix and served no use until the 1960's.  For those who have experienced a third eye opening, we know this is false.

The pineal gland is located in the center of the brain and is about the size of a grain of rice. Light is what this gland needs to open. Which is one of the many reasons I keep hitting everyone over the head with the fact that we must get outside in the sunlight. The sun has a powerful effect on the pineal gland.

When you think about it, look at how so many people avoid walking outside for fear of skin cancer, yet we need Vitamin D to survive prevent Alzheimer's, cancer, Multiple Sclerosis and depression.

Eye of Ra, or Eye of Horus & the human brain

Looking at this image to the right, you can see how similar the Egyptian depiction of the Eye of Ra (Ra being the name of God) is so close to the way the pineal gland is set in the human brain. The symbology illuminates their knowledge of the power of the third eye.

Within the Bible are other references of "The face of God is within you." Genesis 32:22-31

We need plenty of sleep, light and a focus on the center of our forehead to open this gland. Meditation with a focus on the third eye will help to open the third eye as well. We need complete darkness at night rather than sleeping with night lights on. Avoid chemicals like sodium fluoride (which is a poison known for calcifying the third eye. Also avoid GMO foods, sugar, fast food, soda, alcohol, and processed foods to assist with the opening of this amazing gland.

The EgyptiansRomans and the Greeks were well aware of the purpose of the third eye and its power.

Green pine cone symbolic of how the Church wants us to stay

Though the Catholic church has known of its use for a very long time, the Vatican has hidden images and replicas of the pineal gland in plain site. In fact, if you look you will find the pine cone, the symbol of the third eye hidden in plain site around the world.

Why would churches keep a significant way for each individual to connect with God hidden for thousands of years?

When your third eye begins to open, you begin to see how masses of humanity has been kept in the dark with fluoride use that has been proven not to prevent cavities at all.

The symbolic pineal gland in the pine cone
Remember there is much false information out on the Internet that attempts to keep you asleep as we are much easier to control when we believe everything we see in newspapers, the media, and the Internet. People that are in fear are controllable. People that don't have a personal relationship with God aren't as powerful or wise.

Signs Your Third Eye Is Opening:

  1. You have an inner knowing.
  2. A feeling of joyousness for no reason begins to bubble up.
  3. Synchronistic events happen.
  4. You experience meaningful coincidences.
  5. You may hear something on the news and know what you are hearing isn't true. (i.e. Princess Diana's death, 911, election issues). You begin to see behind the curtain of misinformation.
  6. Your dreams become vivid and prophetic.
  7. Synchronistic events happen for you showing you that your life is orchestrated for you.
  8. You begin to meet spiritual teachers in your dreams.
  9. You may meet with those on the other side while you sleep.
  10. You hear things that are not spoken.
  11. You are kind to all animals, wild and tame. You don't want to hurt, harm or kill any living thing.
  12. You begin to rethink being an omnivore.
  13. You receive Guidance that protects and directs you.
  14. You have an inner knowing that you must visit a certain place, or take a certain route somewhere.
  15. Your senses are heightened.
  16. You see things that aren't there. (Clairvoyance)
  17. You begin to think more deeply about life and why you are here.
  18. You begin to recognize that all is not what it seems
  19. You feel what others are feeling (empathy).
  20. You sense what others are thinking.
  21. You have a sense of foreboding before something occurs.
  22. You perceive inaudible frequencies. (Clairaudience)
  23. You smell things that aren't there. (Clairsentience)
  24. You taste things that aren't there. (Clairgustance)
  25. You feel connected to everyone.
  26. You have no sense of race, color or creed. (Oneness)
  27. You have become more health conscious, watching what you eat, drink and breathe.
  28. You no longer see things in black and white.
  29. You are aware of the Illuminati being real.
  30. You feel you need to do something about what is happening on the earth.
Each of us can connect personally with God. When we meditate, are out in nature we can connect with God. When our third eye opens, we know the truth. We can hear lies in the media and the world. We are not as easily controlled when we don't believe everything we are told.

Read The Autobiography of A Yogi and find out what secrets have been suppressed from the world. Wake up! It's time to see the truth. All is not what it seems on this planet. Remember each of us has the truth inside of us. We are all part of God, our personal power and connection are within our third eye.

10 Rules For Dating That Keep You From Experiencing Guilt

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Each of us has a moral compass. We also have our personal sense of what feels good and what doesn't. Keeping both of these in perspective will keep you feeling positive, happy and empowered while dating.

When we ignore our moral compass we get into trouble feeling guilt or even shame. Dating needs to be fun. When it ceases to be, there is something wrong and you need to pay attention to the warning signs.

1. It only takes 15-minutes to tell if you have chemistry. A Match.com survey found that thirty-one percent felt it is best to be honest and politely tell your date that it won't work, 12% would leave before the night was over. If you aren't interested, be kind and don't waste each other's time. Spending time with someone you aren't interested in leads to guilt. Avoid the guilt and speak your truth.

2. Be honest. If you aren't enjoying your date, say so. It is better to rip the band-aid off rather than spend an evening wishing you were somewhere else. 52% of the surveyed participants felt it was best to tell your date you aren't interested. I agree. Be kind. Put yourself in their shoes, how would you feel if the tables were turned. Honesty is still the best policy. Lying about anything leads to guilt. Guilt is one of the lowest vibrations that we can experience. You will have a clear conscience and sleep better at night when you are honest.

3. It's okay for a woman to pay on a first date. Women feel empowered and in control when they pay at the end of the first date whether he asked her or not. When a woman pays at the end of the first date she also feels she doesn't owe her date anything, which is also a good thing - leaving you guiltless.

4. Be yourself. We all want to be loved, but if the person you are dating falls in love with a person you pretend to be, they will be disappointed when the real you begins to show up. The more authentic you are, the better. Authenticity makes you happier. When you are happier, your partner will be also. Be you. There is no one else like you.

5. Take it slow. The world isn't going to end tomorrow. This new person may be the cat's meow, spending time alone and with your friends rather than every waking moment with your new love helps to keep the excitement alive. Too much too soon kills a new relationship. Too hot too fast means a fast burn out. Keep the mystery alive and take time for yourself, clean your apartment and your litter box. You have time.

6. Spend time with your friends. Giving up friends for a relationship is always a bad idea. If you make plans with friends, don't ice them if a better offer with your new love shows up. Friends will be there long after the relationship ends. They will be there to talk through your first arguments and help you through your breakups. Relationships work better when you have time apart; you are much more interesting than when you are too available.

7. Be polite. Leave your cell phone in your car, or turn it off. Checking your cell phone when you are on a date with someone is rude. Unless your house is burning down or your child is on their way to the hospital there is no need to check your cell phone, it's just plain impolite.

8. Wait to add them as a friend on social media. You don't know where this is going. Until you have been dating six months or more, don't add them on FaceBook. I can't tell you how many horror stories I have heard about FB stocking when someone was added too soon. Until you are an item for sure, keep them off your social media. Keeping your dating face to face, rather than on social media makes it much cleaner if you have to end the relationship.

9. Don't have sex on the first date. Add a little mystery and leave him wanting you. Sex is an intimate expression requiring closeness. Ground rules haven't been established so soon in the game. You need to have a discussion about pregnancy, protection or STDs. Questions need to be asked before sex occurs.

Unfortunately, we still have a double standard in our society. Men are considered studs and women are easy when sex happens too soon. Sex on a first date often leaves a woman feeling disrespected, ashamed for not holding back then the guilt comes rolling in like a tidal wave for good measure. Save yourself the pain and allow the excitement and mystery to build. You are worthy. You don't have to give it away to keep someone, it actually works in reverse.

You don't think about pregnancy when you are in the throws of passion. However, 1,604,870 unmarried women got pregnant  aged 15-44 in 2014 according to the CDC study done in the US.

10. Use the phone to follow-up after a date. Women like to follow up the next day. Most guys play it cool and like to wait three days before a text or follow-up phone call. The old-fashioned method (phone) is the best way to follow up after a date. Voice, intonation, and expression can be misconstrued via text when you barely know each other. Keep texting to a minimum until you have been dating a few weeks.

Should You Believe Everything You Hear?

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Discernment is the power to decide for ourselves what we hear, see or read is truth or fiction. JEM

My father taught me to never take anything at face value. His frustration with most people believing whatever they read in a book or newspaper, see on television or in the media was evident at our family dinners. His encouragement to use my personal discernment has served me well. Though I am no longer suspicious as he was, I use discernment to judge, decide, perceive, intuit, understand and discriminate between lies and truth on a daily basis. I highly recommend that everyone learn this ability quickly.

Blind belief in authority is the greatest enemy of
truth. Albert Einstein

With 2016, being an election year, we are being bombarded by filth, muck-raking and lies from all sides. Who is speaking the truth? Most politicians are only lying when their lips are moving. We have to be able to read between the lies and BS and come to our own conclusions without reading a newspaper to see what we "should" believe.

I stopped watching the news when Princess Diana was assassinated and it was called "an accident"in 1997, almost twenty years ago.  I used my discernment to ascertain that what I heard on the news was a lie.  There have been hundreds of incidents such as Princess Diana's death where we have been lied to.

Without discernment, we are sheep being led to slaughter. Discernment is the ability to tap in and feel whether someone is lying to you or telling you the truth. Discernment is one of the most understated powers that we have. Unfortunately, most people don't know the meaning of the word discernment, never mind having the ability to use it for themselves.

How Can I Learn To Trust My Gut?

By recognizing that your body never lies, you have a barometer for truth within you. Listen to it. Stop ignoring it when it screams at you - "NO!"

  1. Listen to your body sounds and signs. Each gurgle means something. Did your stomach drop when you heard a lie? Did you notice when your husband ignored your question? Did you hear your daughter clear her throat before speaking? Listen to your inner voice. Listen to your stomach.
  2. Learn to Trust yourself. Most people mistrust their guidance. Rather than leaning in, they lean away from Guidance. Trust comes from following your gut time after time and finding that your Guidance is never wrong. Trust comes from small acts, putting one foot in front of the other again and again.
  3. Stop Ignoring Yourself. Putting your feelings on the back burner and listening to someone else's SHOULDS keeps you from trusting yourself.

There is a multitude of people that we listen to and believe without question. Below are those we give credence to when we need to question the veracity of their "facts" rather than just accept what we are told as truth.

  1. Doctors. Just because a doctor says it doesn't mean it is true. Doctors don't know everything and they certainly don't know everything about you. Doctor's mistakes are the third leading cause of death in the US. Doctors know very little about nutrition. In fact, they only take ten (count 'em 10 hours of nutrition in their four - six years of study) Listen to your doctor and do your own due diligence. Research medications and their side-effects before dutifully taking what is suggested or prescribed. Statins, anti-depression meds, anxiety medications are all over prescribed. More people die every year from prescription drugs than illegal drugs! I once had a doctor offer me an anti-depressant because tears welled up in my eyes while talking about my elderly dog, Karma passing away. I wasn't depressed, I was feeling emotion. Emotion is not something that is bad. Emotions are healthy. Taking pills to quell emotions isn't healthy! Emotions are meant to move rather than be stuffed, or numbed by a drug.
  2. FaceBook, Linked In, Twitter, Tinder, Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc. Just because it is on the Internet does not make it true.
  3. Newspaper and News Media. Just because it is reported on the news doesn't mean it is 100% true. Our government has historically staged events to cause wars on other nations. The Oklahoma City Bombing was an inside job, farmed out by the CIA. Years later, I worked with someone who was offered the Oklahoma City Bombing as a "gig." $500,000 up front and $500,000 when completed, with as much collateral damage to the daycare center as possible to illicit a public outcry. He still lives off-grid for his personal safety. The Oklahoma City Bombing was the precursor to 911 - a test or dry run to discover how the public would respond to a greater disaster. Since this incident there have been over 20 different events used to manipulate and control the masses (you and I) through fear. These events are called False Flag events. False Flag events are horrific staged events blamed on a political enemy as a pretext to start a war or enact laws in the name of National Security to reduce civil liberties and cause fear. Not only do we loose our liberties many people are too afraid to travel, attend movies or even send their children to nursery school. They are very real. Some of these false flag events are the recent Paris shooting, Sandy Hook, Aurora Theatre Shooting, Orlando, Columbine High School Shooting in 1999, Boston Marathon are just some examples of False Flag events. You think this sounds crazy? Check out this video about 10 conspiracy theories that proved to be true.
  4. CIA, Government, Politicians. We have to take what we hear from those in power with a grain of salt. They do whatever they can to get us to do what they want. Fear is the motivating factor. Multitudes of people can be controlled by fear. See number 3. Read about the 42 ADMITTED False Flags here.

Don't believe everything you hear, see or think. Question the validity of your information. Check and double check. As always, I recommend that you do your own research. Before taking a pill, do your personal research. Ask questions about previous prescriptions. Mixing different medications can be deadly. When in doubt opt for natural remedies.

Avoid watching the news, reading headlines on Yahoo, or other places which are attempting to cause fear, worry or anxiety. There is a reason so many people have anxiety today. Stop watching the news! Stop reading the newspaper and stop believing everything you hear! Use your discernment, your inner compass to guide you.

Probably the most profound work I do for people is clear old patterns that hold you back. Trauma, emotions, beliefs and blocks once removed allow your energy to move to a higher level. The Policy Of Truth

by Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Truth is the quality or state of being true. Truth encompasses integrity, character, honor. Telling the truth is a refusal to lie. What about half-truths? What about white lies? Are they just lies disguised as niceties? Is it okay to lie about your age?

While in Atlanta, I had a discussion with a group of women about the subject of telling the truth. The higher our vibration becomes, the less we lie. We are held to a higher standard as we become awakened. The more honest we are, the better we feel. Dishonesty affects our self-esteem. Honesty is a sign of strong character.

Telling the truth consistently and speaking your truth are two components of authenticity that speak volumes about who you are

Parents lie to their children then wonder why their children lie to them? Adults lie to their peers and receive the same in return. What we send out we get right back. We see our president blatantly lie, politicians also lie for him.

Question: Is it okay to tell your child that a parent abandoned you? Or is it better to tell your child a made-up story about why the parent isn't around, like that they died when they didn't?

Answer:  Never lie to your child to cover up the truth. Energetically, your child knows at a soul level that they were lied to. The second reason you want to be honest is that you teach your child lying is okay by modeling bad behavior.

Does This Dress Make My Ass Look Fat?

The subject came up while dining in a restaurant. What do you say to someone when they ask if an outfit makes them look fat? What if the answer is, "Yes, it does?" We can respond compassionately to this question by saying, "I have seen you look better in other outfits." We are not lying, but also not hurting the other person's feelings.

I have not been able to lie for over three years. When I make a statement if it is not completely true, I am Guided by a question from my High Self, "Is that completely true?" Or sometimes, I hear, "Are you sure you don't want to change that response?" Other times, it is like a pregnant pause and more of a feeling. The end result is that I cannot lie. I have to tell the complete truth.

Lying About Your Age on A Profile

A friend of mine told me today, "Everybody lies about their age." I don't agree with that statement. I don't lie. I don't lie about my age. I don't lie about the number of times I have been married. I don't lie about anything. I know others that don't. When I posted my profile, I was honest about my age.

A fellow practitioner recently asked me what I would say to a client that began to date a man from a dating site and lied about her age on her profile. She was youthful and radiant even though she was in her seventies. She didn't say she was one or two years younger. She stated that her age was twenty years younger than her chronological age. The man she met began to fall for her. "What should she do?" was the question the practitioner asked me.

My response is always, "Tell the truth!"

Why Should You Tell The Truth?

A relationship based on a lie will never work. When mistrust is the foundation, there can never be trust. Even if you never come clean about the lie, the undercurrent you emit is negative. Whatever you send out comes back to you. If you lie, others will lie to you. If you cheat, others will cheat on you. If you lie about your age on a dating site, someone will lie to you also. Honesty is always the best policy.

We can also lie to ourselves. We lie about how happy we are. We lie about our relationships. Asking questions and going within will help. Lying to oneself is denial, not the river in Egypt.

Lying Is A Low Vibration

Lying lowers your vibration. You attract what you are. If you lie, you are a liar. Through the law of attraction, you will attract others that lie also.

Liars, cheaters, and abusers have a low vibration. Dating a married man is cheating. You are cheating by taking someone else's partner.

If you say that you have been faithful, but send texts to other women or men that are suggestive, you may as well be cheating. Your vibration suggests that you are. Cheating involves betrayal and rejection, both of which leave the other person broken and wounded. Flirtatious texts make you unfaithful in your heart. If you want to have sex with another person, be honest; get a divorce, breakup, but don't cheat or lie.

10 Rules For Dating That Keep You From Experiencing Guilt

Honesty Is A Higher Vibration

Being honest carries an upward or rising energy. Your vibration rises by being consistently honest. When you stop telling all lies you become a person of strong moral character. People will trust you. Your vibration attracts others with a higher vibration. You feel better when you are a person with strong character. Your self-esteem rises as your character becomes stronger.

The best policy is the policy of truth.

How To Increase Your Self-Love Quotient For Greater Happiness"

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

You've heard it from me, Deepak, Louise Hay, Oprah and countless others. Self-love is the key to a fulfilled and happy life.

It's not better sex, it's not a faster or prettier car, and it certainly isn't a relationship that will bring you lasting happiness if you aren't happy with you. To this end, I will share with you what I did to go from batshit crazy, negative and depressed to completely blissfully happy no matter what!

1. Get To Know Yourself. Most people don't know themselves well. We spend time getting to know a new boyfriend or girlfriend, but don't focus on what makes us tick, what makes us happy and what we want in our lives. When we begin to focus on what we love about ourselves, what we love to do and what we are passionate about, our path becomes much clearer.

2. Live Mindfully. Mindful practice brings you into the present moment. Breathing deeply and focusing on what is happening right now will help you to enjoy what is in front of you. I see mothers on their cell phones with babies ignored in grocery carts or strollers crying. If you are with your child, be present with your child. If you are with your family, be present with them. Put cell phones away and turn off the freaking television.

3. Just Say NO! Don't be afraid to tell someone that you can't pick their kids up, or water their plants for three weeks while they are in Europe visiting The Queen. When we don't have great self-esteem, we tend to say yes far too often accepting shitty projects and jobs that we don't want just so that people will like us. Face it; not everyone is going to love you or what you say. If you don't want to do something say NO! You will have more energy for yourself and the things you love.

4. Do Things You Love Daily. If you love to be outside in nature, take a walk every day. Make it part of your routine, no matter what. Get up an hour earlier to take your walk before your kids wake up. Or combine your walk with your dog duties. We spend entirely too much time doing what we don't love. Instead, make doing what you love a priority. (Of course, after you do your day job and take care of responsibilities).

5. Practice Self Care. We take care of others first when we want to be loved. When you love yourself, enough you recognize that no one else will take care of your needs. If you have children, what will happen to them if you fall apart, get sick, or worse? Your rest, solitude, and downtime is important. Make sure you get to bed before 11:00 PM, eat properly and get exercise. These are all part of self-care. For those of you out there that forget to pee all day, that is not taking care of your needs. Stop and pee! Take care of yourself, lovingly.

6. Focus On Your Needs Rather Than Wants. I remember taking myself shopping when I felt bad, spending too much money and then being in debt because I felt I DESERVED to buy something new for myself. Refer to number 3. Needs first. What you want probably isn't going to matter in five days. In fact, wait five days and see if you still have the burning desire for that thing.

You probably won't even think about it after five days. Ice cream is something you might want, but don't need. A new dress is something you might want, but don't need. A thing won't fill a void within you. Rationalizing that you deserve something that is going to have a huge cost to it and probably a negative effect as well. Meditate instead.
7. Guard Your Personal Space And Time. It is better to have real friends that support you rather than drain you. If you have few good friends, you are far better off than having a crowd of people who take advantage or drain your energy. We have all had people drain us financially and also energetically. Your energy is precious. People who share in your successes and support you when things are going well are true friends. Those who are delighted when you fail are those you want to avoid.

8. Have A Daily Spiritual Practice. Gratitude, Forgiveness, Prayer, and Meditation are all things that I began to practice daily. When I did, I felt supported, loved and unafraid. A Daily Spiritual Practice fills the void inside of you; it connects you with Spirit, The Universe and The Love of The Divine (a higher power). A spiritual connection is imperative for deep inner peace and fulfillment.

9. Live With Purpose and Design. What do you want your legacy to be? How do you want to be remembered? When I began to do service work - even in landscaping, I felt like I was making a difference. You don't have to be a healer to make a difference in

this world. Think about what makes your heart sing, write down a list of those things.

Maybe you only have one or two activities that make you feel fulfilled, how can you make those activities part of your daily life? When you begin to live your life with purpose, you feel you are giving back in some way. Maybe your purpose right now is to raise your children to be healthy, confident and active participating adults. Raising children is a noble purpose. There is no greater gift to the world than to raise purpose-filled, confident adults.

10. Be True To Your Word. Though this item is listed tenth, it should probably be number one on the hit parade. It is one of the most profound things you can do to raise your self-esteem. Saying what you mean and meaning what you say, sounds like such a simple thing. However, when you begin to make commitments and live up to them with consistency, you will find your self-esteem soars.

I had a hard time with commitments. I would make agreements and then go back on them. I couldn't make up my mind. I found myself agreeing to things I didn't feel right for me because I couldn't stand up for myself at the moment. As you become more confident, you will learn how to stand up for your truth and beliefs.

11. Take Responsibility. When you take responsibility for your actions, health and happiness, you will find happiness begins to flow to you. No one can make you happy. No one can be responsible for you or your health but you. Taking responsibility for you is foundational for healthy self-esteem.

12. Stop Telling Your Story and Forgive Everyone. Everyone has a sad story to tell. It could be a nasty ex or abandonment in childhood. Maybe your parents died when you were young. Although your story is a sad tale
until you stop telling it you won't move beyond the past. You will continue to regurgitate the past dragging it right along with you as you attempt to create something new and different. You can't move into something better when you keep focusing on the past.

When my life really changed was when I began to do all of these things simultaneously. Begin with one or two steps. Do these two things with consistency. Happiness comes from taking responsibility for oneself, being true to your word, having a spiritual daily practice taking care of yourself and having healthy boundaries.

Attracting Love

When we are loving with ourselves, we attract others to us that are accepting and loving also. Relationships with others who are filled with self-love are infinitely easier than having a relationship before we fully love ourselves.

To Make Things Easier

Begin with one step. When you have mastered one step, add another. It took me over thirty years to be in a place of happiness and fulfillment daily. I did it one step at a time. You can too.

Jennifer will be in Atlanta, Georgia at The Inner Space on Friday, June 10th and 11th.

Reading Between The Lines And The Bull Sh*t

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

This is my rant....

I don't often go off. Sometimes I have had it up to here and I just can't contain myself any longer. This is one of those times. There are occasions that being an intuitive healer can really shine the light on life, the world and what others are trying to sell. Sometimes the bullshit is so stinky that the fumes irritate even those without a sense of smell!

Here are some things that really light a fire under my ass, not in a good way! I often talk about lighting a firecracker under your ass to get you out of your easy chair. But, this is different than that kind of fire under your ass. Some people are gullible and will buy anything that sounds good.

As an honest and authentic person, maybe it is the fact that some people take advantage of those who are having a tough time with their development, journey and emotional state. Maybe it is that I feel those people are being taken advantage of.....

Just to catch you up, I wrote a post two days ago, about sexual desire being sacred. Couples are being taught how to digitally stimulate your female partner's clitoris with a gloved hand, ala Michael Jackson? In pursuit of a "sense of orgasm," rather than an orgasm itself. They use the buzzword "OMing" (which I feel uses the sacred OM in vain). One partner stimulates the clitoris and you are on the clock for 15 minutes, (it was formerly 13 minutes) without bringing you to orgasm. GASP!

Buzzwords

Nothing bugs me more than when people overuse words thinking that they are cool, hip or current. Especially when someone is trying to get you to buy their product. Or swallow the hook, line and sinker. Using words like CONTAINER in the heading of a workshop really irks me. A container is something that I put leftovers in when I can't eat all the roast chicken and veggies that I have cooked. It is NOT something that someone puts you in when you are masturbating.

The OM CONTAINER? Now you need a larger container to masturbate in? What the heck? You need a container to masturbate in now? Maybe I misunderstood and they said, "chamber,"as in torture, chamber? Since you only have 13 minutes. Oh, they did add 2 more minutes to the timer for those that are more challenged. What about those who need 40. Is this just an exercise in frustration for them? If you need someone standing over your shoulder telling you must do it THEIR WAY. They may enjoy self torture, but do you have to?

It's About Connection, But Isn't Sex ?

Like I said in my book, if it involves genitals it is sex. It is not about connection when your partner sits fully clothed above you, looking down on you with a latex glove on their hand. Bill Clinton, again you come to mind. When a boy is rubbing your daughter's clitoris will you also think that is all about connection, not sex? What message are you creating here for teens?

The Bigger Issue

Over 43% of women have a difficult time coming to orgasm at all. This type of "training," further imprints the brain and body to stop before you get to orgasm. Most women need 20 - 40 minutes of manual stimulation to reach orgasm. So you can see where the no happy ending on a continual basis could perpetuate a problem that has had little education, understanding or knowledge.

It isn't okay, that women continue to have issues with orgasm. It leads to frustrated women not wanting to have sex with their partners. Sex has been historically one-sided for hundreds of years.

Having Someone Tell Me How or How Long To Masturbate

You know we are finally out of the dark ages where masturbation is actually accepted. Now to have someone tell me you must do it this way and for this time period, I guess I just don't get it. To me, this seems pretty much like torture. If you want to pay someone to teach you to torture yourself and continue to deprive yourself of the ability to orgasm, that of course is your prerogative. My sense of this whole thing is that if you have difficulty having an orgasm, putting yourself on a timer is not going to bring you closer faster. It may raise your sexual energy doing it every day, but so would making love and be so much more fun for both of you! This is when Bobby Brown sings......

Yes, the views and opinions of the author of this rant are also the views and opinions of this blogholder. As a sex and passion coach, I can't in good conscience continue to be mute. Not that I have held my opinions at bay, really. Jennifer Elizabeth Masters is an outspoken healer, teller of the truth and truth seeker. Sexual Desire Is Sacred

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

I have been in the spiritual community for over 30 years. During that time I have run into men and women who felt that they were closer to God when they were not having sex. I know women who deny their men pleasure for reasons unknown to even them. Sex is sacred. Sex is our God-given right. Sexual desire is part of our human experience. Sexual expression whether with another or ourselves is not only natural, but loving. Expressing our sexuality is not only normal, natural and healthy, it is the core of who we are.

I am familiar with the OM Meditation which uses female sacred sexual energy and puts it on a timer. 15 minutes is all you get to get charged up while your partner stimulates your clitoris (or you self stimulate) with his or her fingers. You can purchase a video which will teach you how to stimulate yourself for $29.00. You only get 15 minutes, not 16, not 20 and then you are left hanging.

It is my humble opinion, that this meditation further perpetuates the lack of orgasm that most women have historically been missing out on for hundreds if not thousands of years. Ready, set go! People are even certified and trained to teach this torturous masturbation with no happy ending. You are are  on the clock. "GO! You have 13 minutes to get turned on and maybe get close to having an orgasm!" A timed sexual experience is not sacred.

The one thing that they do suggest is that you masturbate every day for 28 days. This is not a purpose driven masturbation. You only raise your energy to stimulate yourself to the point of being aroused, then stop. The one advantage of this is that it will raise your libido. So will masturbating through to orgasm. Do the same thing every day, for 28 days and you might want to bite someone's head off!

How Would You Do?

See what you can do when your partner puts the timer on and attempts to stimulate you in 15 minutes. Men might have no problem, for women whose mind needs to be completely focused on the task at hand will have a great deal of difficulty.

Ask a child to eat his vegetables and put the timer on. Or maybe, "Do your homework, you have 15 minutes?" How would you do? Could you function? Could you perform? It has been scientifically proven that people taking tests that are timed will not perform at their peak, because they are under pressure. Putting someone on the clock to reach their peak, causes pressure that is unnecessary.

How Can Sex Be More Sacred?

Sacredness is breathing in the moment now. Experiencing all life has to offer in this moment. Being completely present in each breath. Walking outside, focusing on the beauty of the fresh air, the perfect clouds, the beautiful flowers and the heady scent that they send to your nostrils. It is seeing a rabbit in it's natural environment run and hide. It is a newborn babe breathing his first breath. It is in the smile of our Beloved. Sacredness is living in this perfect moment now.

Allowing yourself to feel each moment fully. Looking into your lover's eyes. Smiling and breathing in their scent. Feeling the tingle of their touch, as their fingers cup your face in caress. The feel of their soft lips on your mouth. That is sacred. Allowing yourself to experience it slowly, reverently, without rushing to orgasm. Breathing them in, slowly, awakening all your senses.

Sacredness could begin with a cleansing shower or bathing together. Talking with one another about your day. Massaging each other's feet. Holding hands while you walk to your car after dinner. Smiling as your door is reverently opened for you. Sacredness is in each breath that you breathe.

Having a timed sexual experience takes you out of the moment and focuses on the impending DING of the timer in the near future, "How much more time do I have?" Sex should not be rushed.
