Sacred Stories From My Heart

This past week I was a guest on The Enlightened Loveheart & Soul Show in the UK. I shared how I healed my illnesses, how my thoughts created these issues within my body and how I began to change myself one step at a time.

Sacred Stories From My Heart: Jennifer Elizabeth Masters MP3

The secrets to healing are revealed in this audio. Listen here or visit my website to do so at JenniferElizabethMasters.com

The most powerful thing that we can do for ourselves, our family and our world is self-love. If you feel hate or unforgiveness you are not in a state of love and cannot manifest.

What you will hear:

  • How our thoughts make us either well or ill.
  • I recognized that my thoughts were killing me
  • Each of our thoughts are a prayer
  • God is within me, that makes me a Creator
  • How we need to forgive ourselves and everyone
  • How each of us can live a life of happiness and vibrant health
  • How anger can make us sick and depressed
  • If you feel stuck and blocked you may feel numb
  • Sexual trauma can make us feel dead inside (numb)
  • Our body will give us signs that we need to listen to our thoughts and change them

5 Powerful Reasons Not To Have Sex With Everyone Who Wants You

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

A large portion of the world has low self-esteem. When we don't feel good about ourselves, we can give ourselves away to others carelessly because we don't love ourselves. I know all too well how easy it is to be promiscuous when we have been molested in childhood or mistreated by a partner. I have good news for everyone out there. Anything is subject to change.

For over thirty years I have worked diligently on myself, healing my emotional, physical and spiritual self. In the process, I have come to know myself very well, something that I didn't do before I became happy with me. I used to feel broken, now I feel completely whole, with healthy boundaries, respect and strong faith in me.

I haven't stopped growing, clearing myself or learning, in fact, I am in the process of reading six books simultaneously and assimilating this information for you. As I grow in consciousness, wisdom, and knowledge, I can be better able to help you heal yourself and life faster.

For those of you interested in what I am doing for you, me and the world, sign up for my newsletter as I only share with my inner circle the deepest and most intimate secrets of my life. Believe me what is happening right now, is something you want to be a part of. I have discovered exactly how all the moving parts work together to create the life we love and the love that shifts us to be better than we ever thought possible.

Sex is a part of our human experience. Whether we have sex for one, or as a couple it is completely natural and nothing to feel guilt, shame or regret over if you follow these guidelines. When we feel these low vibrational emotions we can't manifest sh*t!

5 Reasons Not To Have Sex

Let's just say you are kissing someone you have just met while on a date. Wonderful! Experience it fully. Check in with yourself. Is this someone you would regret having sex with? If the answer is yes, just say no. Our inner guidance system is nothing to be trifled with. Trust what you feel. The more you trust yourself, the better you will feel about your decisions.

Here are the 5 reasons why not to engage in the horizontal mambo:

1. It feels yucky. If you feel bad, the sex will be bad. You will have regret later. Whatever it is, their smell, the way they kiss, the timing, trust your instinct.

2. They are pushing for something you don't feel works for you. Maybe things are going along well, then all of a sudden there is a change in activity. If he shoves your head into your crotch and you don't like it say so. You'll be surprised how much respect you will get when you say "I don't like it when you do that!"

3. You aren't ready. There are many reasons to not feel ready for sex. It could be the wrong time of the month, it could be it is just too soon, it could be you don't feel your best. Whatever the reason don't do it. Pushing a bad move will leave you feeling regret. Regret is a terrible thing! Standing up for what you feel is right for you is empowering. Having sex when you really aren't up for it is disempowering. Choose wisely.

4. You value yourself. Maybe your date thinks you are really hot, but you don't have the same feelings about them. Maybe the situation is uncomfortable due to a lack of privacy. The first time you have sex with someone you want it to feel good, not bad. If your gut is trembling with fear, trepidation or distaste, stop. Tell them you aren't ready. Maybe tell them you will never be ready for them, but be kind.

5. You respect yourself and it doesn't feel right. Self-respect is a tenuous thing. When we don't trust ourselves and do something anyway, we are not respecting us. Respect is one of the cornerstones of a healthy, loving relationship, starting on the wrong foot will make the whole thing just wrong. My book Orgasm For Life will help you discover yourself, and your partner in a new and loving way.

You have value. You deserve to be loved. You are worthy. You are loveable. Now turn this around and say these things to yourself over and over until you believe them.

I deserve it!
I have value
I am worthy
I am enough
Using mantras in the background of your mind when your mind is in neutral works best: while you are showering, shaving, putting on makeup, driving, walking, right before sleep and upon waking will slip past the gatekeeper of your unconscious mind.

Now go forth and date! Go to meetups, but get yourself out there. You won't find a partner sitting at home on the couch stuffing yourself with ice cream and Cheetos.

10 Rules For Dating That Keep You From Experiencing Guilt

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Each of us has a moral compass. We also have our personal sense of what feels good and what doesn't. Keeping both of these in perspective will keep you feeling positive, happy and empowered while dating.

When we ignore our moral compass we get into trouble feeling guilt or even shame. Dating needs to be fun. When it ceases to be, there is something wrong and you need to pay attention to the warning signs.

1. It only takes 15-minutes to tell if you have chemistry. A Match.com survey found that thirty-one percent felt it is best to be honest and politely tell your date that it won't work, 12% would leave before the night was over. If you aren't interested, be kind and don't waste each other's time. Spending time with someone you aren't interested in leads to guilt. Avoid the guilt and speak your truth.

2. Be honest. If you aren't enjoying your date, say so. It is better to rip the band-aid off rather than spend an evening wishing you were somewhere else. 52% of the surveyed participants felt it was best to tell your date you aren't interested. I agree. Be kind. Put yourself in their shoes, how would you feel if the tables were turned. Honesty is still the best policy. Lying about anything leads to guilt. Guilt is one of the lowest vibrations that we can experience. You will have a clear conscience and sleep better at night when you are honest.

3. It's okay for a woman to pay on a first date. Women feel empowered and in control when they pay at the end of the first date whether he asked her or not. When a woman pays at the end of the first date she also feels she doesn't owe her date anything, which is also a good thing - leaving you guiltless.

4. Be yourself. We all want to be loved, but if the person you are dating falls in love with a person you pretend to be, they will be disappointed when the real you begins to show up. The more authentic you are, the better. Authenticity makes you happier. When you are happier, your partner will be also. Be you. There is no one else like you.

5. Take it slow. The world isn't going to end tomorrow. This new person may be the cat's meow, spending time alone and with your friends rather than every waking moment with your new love helps to keep the excitement alive. Too much too soon kills a new relationship. Too hot too fast means a fast burn out. Keep the mystery alive and take time for yourself, clean your apartment and your litter box. You have time.

6. Spend time with your friends. Giving up friends for a relationship is always a bad idea. If you make plans with friends, don't ice them if a better offer with your new love shows up. Friends will be there long after the relationship ends. They will be there to talk through your first arguments and help you through your breakups. Relationships work better when you have time apart; you are much more interesting than when you are too available.

7. Be polite. Leave your cell phone in your car, or turn it off. Checking your cell phone when you are on a date with someone is rude. Unless your house is burning down or your child is on their way to the hospital there is no need to check your cell phone, it's just plain impolite.

8. Wait to add them as a friend on social media. You don't know where this is going. Until you have been dating six months or more, don't add them on FaceBook. I can't tell you how many horror stories I have heard about FB stocking when someone was added too soon. Until you are an item for sure, keep them off your social media. Keeping your dating face to face, rather than on social media makes it much cleaner if you have to end the relationship.

9. Don't have sex on the first date. Add a little mystery and leave him wanting you. Sex is an intimate expression requiring closeness. Ground rules haven't been established so soon in the game. You need to have a discussion about pregnancy, protection or STDs. Questions need to be asked before sex occurs.

Unfortunately, we still have a double standard in our society. Men are considered studs and women are easy when sex happens too soon. Sex on a first date often leaves a woman feeling disrespected, ashamed for not holding back then the guilt comes rolling in like a tidal wave for good measure. Save yourself the pain and allow the excitement and mystery to build. You are worthy. You don't have to give it away to keep someone, it actually works in reverse.

You don't think about pregnancy when you are in the throws of passion. However, 1,604,870 unmarried women got pregnant  aged 15-44 in 2014 according to the CDC study done in the US.

10. Use the phone to follow-up after a date. Women like to follow up the next day. Most guys play it cool and like to wait three days before a text or follow-up phone call. The old-fashioned method (phone) is the best way to follow up after a date. Voice, intonation, and expression can be misconstrued via text when you barely know each other. Keep texting to a minimum until you have been dating a few weeks.

Is Breakup Sex Harmful To You?

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

You've given him back his PJs, toothbrush, and slippers. When he returns for his sweatshirt should you or shouldn't you slip back into bed for farewell sex?

Sex might have been good once, but that isn't the point. You have broken up what happens when you go back to the well once again?
  1. You could get pregnant. Anytime you have unprotected sex you run the risk of pregnancy. Sex with an ex could mean an unwanted child or serious issues to contend with. Do you really want to take this risk?
  2. If they have moved on, you are also having sex with their latest partner - STDs are unwanted at any time, do you want to take the risk?
  3. You have begun to heal and recover from the breakup. Slipping back into the sack is going to set you back a month or maybe two or more in your recovery. You will have to cry all over again and probably return something he left under your bed.
  4. The issues that were present before you broke up are still in evidence. Nothing has changed. Now he wants another trip down memory lane? Thanks for the memories, but sayonara!
  5. As long as you are pining over your ex you won't get beyond where you are now. Sex again means more attachment for most people and maybe even regret and tears.
  6. You can't heal and certainly can't attract anyone else when you are continuing to do the horizontal mambo with the one you can't seem to forget. Too many can'ts......
  7. If you are missing sex, you can self-pleasure with far fewer regrets and probably less mess emotionally as well as figuratively. Take care of yourself.

Everything has a time, place and season. When a relationship ends it is never easy. There are sweet memories, wonderful times spent together and of course, there was sex. Returning to sexual intimacy with someone you are trying to get over is borrowing trouble and pain. Why put yourself through that?

It's time to let go. Give them a hug and say good-bye. Your self-esteem will remain healthier when you do. Regret for something you know doesn't serve your highest good often leaves you feeling shame or guilt, two of the lowest vibrations known to man. Take a pass and go take a hot soak in a tub with a cold glass of bubbly Perrier or cider. You will feel infinitely clearer and decisive as a result of taking care of you.

Feeling Guilty? Spent Too Much? Ate Too Much?

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

January is the month of guilt. You may have gotten into the spirit of Christmas or Chanukah and bought more than you expected. Whether it was the airline ticket, the X-box or computer you lovingly bought for someone, you probably now feel guilt and regret. You may have eaten all your mother's Christmas cookies because she made them for you like I did.

Whether it is a ten-pound weight gain, credit card bills or not having enough cash to pay your bills in January, guilt and regret are our predominant emotions. Regret for past actions is the subject of my blog today. I will help you overcome the negative feelings you have now for doing what you thought was a good thing in December.

Why Did We Do It?

You spent the money because it felt joyful at the time. I can relate. I bought a plane ticket at the last minute to Toronto to spend Christmas with my mother. I left my 19-year-old daughter to spend Christmas alone. Talk about regret! Why did I do it? My mother is 93, going on 94. How many Christmases does she have left? That was my motivation. I did it for her. I felt torn about leaving my daughter behind in her brand-new apartment. She didn't want to go, but that was beside the point.

Between dog boarding and cat sitting, I spent over $1,000 on this trip. Regret for past behavior was a biggie for me in my healing of my story, especially where my mother is concerned. I have not felt regret in many years. It was a shocker to me to experience it once I arrived at home. I have since allowed these feelings to wash over me and recognize that I made the best choice at the time. What's done is done. We move on and let it go. Regret is a waste of time, just like worry. It does us no good to regret something we did yesterday. We just can't ignore a feeling when it surfaces.

Old Issues Revisited?

What I have noticed is that old issues have been coming back in waves washing over us. Most of my clients related that they have had similar experiences. We have the opportunity to revisit our old issues and recognize that we have moved beyond it, only to feel what it feels like all over again. After we experience the old feeling, we are able to see how far we have come in our healing. Have gratitude for the process, the growth and being alive!

What Does Regret Do To You?

No matter what you feel regret over, it is not helping you. In fact, regret is one of the lowest vibrational emotions that we have. Just look at the face on this sweet dog above. He feels shame. If you have had any sexual trauma or abuse in the past, shame is one of the hardest emotions to conquer. Often one or both of our parents was masterful at eliciting shame or guilt from us. If this is the case, some of the reasons for our behavior relates to past shame and guilt. I performed a clearing to remove this pattern and felt better immediately.

Stress

Negative emotions such as guilt, shame, and regret cause us stress in our body. Our stomach tightens, we might even get heartburn (which is a result of fear) or other physical symptoms. Stress is a killer. Stress leads to serious illnesses like cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, depression, anxiety, insomnia.

Fear

Fear is what we feel when we are concerned about what will happen when we don't pay our bills on time. Fear is what escalates and blocks us from our joy. Fear stops us from having good things in our lives. Fear creates stress in our body. We can't manifest anything positive when we are in fear. When we are in fear we are absolutely, positively not in faith. We have no faith that we will get out of our present situation.

Worry

We worry about things that rarely occur. These worrisome thoughts range from, "I don't have enough to make my rent or mortgage payment, " to "I don't know what I am going to do!" These thoughts further escalate the way we feel, taking us down into a spiral of negativity that branches out into our workplace, relationships and ability to manifest positive effects. Focus on the negative only brings more negativity.

How Do We Get Over Shame and Regret?

The easiest way is to have the emotions cleared from your field. In less than thirty minutes you will feel lighter, more positive and hopeful about your future. Barring an energy clearing, you can shift your thoughts to more positive things. Focus instead on the good you did. Focus on how you felt when you made the purchases. Re-trace your steps and see how you can avoid repeating the same thing next year.

STOP!

Beating yourself up is not beneficial. Besides causing stress to your physical body, your emotional body takes a big hit as well. There is nothing positive that comes out of you thinking you are a piece of crap or believing that you aren't a good person or ___________ fill in the blank. Here are a few suggestions to get yourself out of this spiral.

  1. Find the silver lining. In every situation, there is a silver lining. You just have to look for it.
  2. Let go of the regret. Think of something else to shift your focus that makes you feel good.
  3. Play upbeat music. Nothing shifts your mood faster than music (or an energy clearing). Music soothes the soul - depending on the song and genre you choose. I like Billy Ocean, Earth, Wind and Fire, ColdPlay, Michael Jackson, Journey, believe it or not, even AC/DC.
  4. Get up and danceMove your body. The movement will shift your vibration quickly.
  5. Get outside. Nature, trees, the sunshine even rain on your face will shift your vibration fast.
  6. Hug a tree and ask the tree to take your burdens away. Seriously! Don't knock it till you have tried it!
So What Did I do?

I stopped beating myself up. I cleared my energy field, twice. Then I got my ass up off the couch where I was feeling horrible, took my dogs for a walk in the cold and danced to Billy Ocean. Yup! That's what I did. I did it all. If you care enough about yourself, you will do something positive and get out of your low vibrational pity party.

ENERGY CLEARING THIS WEDNESDAY!

Just for you! I am being guided to offer an energy clearing at a recommended cost of $25. No one will be turned away if you can't afford it! You may pay what you like and if you feel it was worth more, drop a love offering into my PayMe Now Paypal account. If $10.00 is what you can afford, send me $10.00. You will feel so much better after the clearing! You are on the honor system; this is between you and The Universe. Just DO IT!

No excuses! Check out this energy clearing - you won't be sorry. All I ask is that you tell your friends. This is a powerful healing method that allows the negative emotions to be removed, and you will feel:

  • clarity
  • focused
  • positive
  • anxiety gone
  • lighter
  • happier
I cleared a teenager on New Year's Eve. Before the clearing, he was irritable, emotional and unfocused. Within fifteen minutes of the clearing, his grandmother noticed how completely different he was.
She knew nothing about his clearing. This stuff works! If you have never gotten an energy clearing - do yourself a favor and DO IT! No excuses!

Here is the call-in number. If you want to call in from other countries, I can give you the code to save you some $$$.

Sex In A Cookie

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

I am a sensual person. What does that mean, you ask? I find pleasure in touch, food, nature, texture, scents sounds and certainly all aspects of love-making. Of course, we can't be in the sack 24 hours a day, how would we ever get anything done? How could we write our blogs, or coach our clients, or even feed ourselves?

After a sensual afternoon in the hot sun on a pristine California beach, I stopped at Trader Joes (a specialty market chain) before driving the 2 or so hours home. The beach is relaxing for me, which is wonderful in many aspects, but having to drive home can be dangerous. I have fallen asleep at the wheel countless times, like 4% of the population. It seems I have this family trait in my DNA. I am working to remedy the sleepiness using several different means. Food, music, singing all help to keep us alert when we get sleepy while driving.

Many people get sleepy while driving. Falling asleep at the wheel is the cause of over 100,000 car accidents every year. I have logged thousands of miles in my little Honda back and forth across the country, all the way to Chicago and Toronto and made it there safely. I pray a lot and ask for protection. I also do whatever I can to stay awake once the sun sets, the most dangerous time to drive.

I don't mean just shutting my eyes for a moment. I fell asleep once right outside of Elvis' birthplace, Tupelo, Mississipi. I drove up the concrete median with both driver's side wheels. With only two wheels on the highway, my angels gently dropped me safely back onto all four wheels about 50 or so feet from where I fell asleep. (I can only assume).

The car made a very loud noise when those two wheels made contact with the freeway, waking both my daughter and I up. Since this incident, I have tried very hard to have activities in the car to keep me awake, which is typically something to eat.

I had a thermos of coffee ready for my drive home, just in case. I have fallen asleep too many times on my return trip from the beach to count. I picked up a sandwich wrap, some hummus and a package of decadent lace cookies. My long explanation of falling asleep at the wheel surely justifies this falling off the rails, by eating these sweet and very decadent cookies. I thought the sugar would keep help to keep me awake. There was no guilt with my purchase. It was a safety measure!

Once on the highway, I opened the plastic package and selected the top lace cookie, without looking. I took one small bite and savored the incredible textures. I am all about different tastes and texture in my food. Delicious food has contrast. This cookie hit all the high notes in my brain.

I could feel my pleasure centers lighting up, my eyes practically rolling back in my head while enjoying the diverse sensations of crunch and smoothness in my mouth. The lace cookie has two crunchy cookies sandwiched between incredibly delicious creamy chocolate which is in soft contrast to the nutty crunch. Eating this cookie was such a sensual experience, it was like an orgasm in my mouth.

As with sex, the first one was incredible. I ate the cookie slowly, rolling the taste over my tongue. I took my time, rather than rushing, savoring every mouthful. Who wants to rush something that is so amazing? Certainly not me!  Even after I swallowed the last trace of the lace cookie, I still tasted it in my mouth. The flavor was spreading across my tongue and lips.

I hesitated before reaching for a second cookie. One cookie was surely enough I thought, it was so rich. The human tendency is to want more of what is incredible. Often, however, the first time, or first, one is so much better than when we go back a second time.

We need to take our time, not rush and certainly enjoy our pleasure. I did enjoy it, which is why I said to myself,  "It was so good. What the hell!" I've been disciplined this past month, I rationalized. I have lost almost ten pounds, how much difference does one more cookie make?

As soon as I bit into the second cookie, I regretted it. But I was already committed. I had to finish! As I continued slowly chewing then swallowing the textures of both crunchy toasted nuts and soft chocolate deliciousness, I wished I had stopped after the first one. Why did I go back for more? There was no turning back now! I ate every last bit of it.

How Often Do We Regret?

If you are going to have pleasure, you may as well enjoy it, rather than feel guilty. Don't punish yourself. I had my two cookies and am wondering should I have a third? What the heck nobody is watching! (I didn't feel guilty either.)

Sex

When it comes to guilty pleasures, most of us have experienced guilt with sex. We can feel guilty for what we do. We feel shame for what we are. Sometimes we take responsibility for things that we cannot control. Some people tend to "make" us feel guilty. Passive aggression is often part of the equation as well. When someone tries to make you feel guilty to get you to do something is a form of manipulation. Asking for what we want is much healthier and authentic.

Sex addiction can lead to guilt. You might want to read my post on sex addiction here.  Or my personal story here.

Osho on Sex and Domination

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

"Sex is a natural phenomenon, as a rose flower, or dewdrops on the grass leaves in the early morning. And it is the most
Osho, also known as Ranjeesh
beautiful phenomenon too, as beautiful as the calling of the cuckoo, as beautiful as the stars in the sky. But down the ages it has been condemned.

Condemning sex has been one of the most important strategies to dominate man. The moment you condemn sex you have condemned life itself. Life arises out of sex; life is an expression of sex. If you can find God anywhere, utterly present, it is the moment of sexual orgasm. But to condemn sex is a great strategy. Through it you condemn man indirectly; you poison his very source of being. And then he feels guilty, a sinner, worthless; and then it is easy to dominate him, it is easy to exploit him - and that's what the politicians and the priests have been doing.

They don't want you to have freedom, they don't want you to enjoy life, because the man who is blissful is rebellious. The man who is enjoying his life cannot be easily dominated - it is very difficult to dominate him - and cannot easily be deceived, because he has clarity.

-Rajneesh
