Your pineal gland, which is also referred to as the third eye is the smallest of the seven endocrine glands in the body located in the center of the brain. Each of the seven endocrine glands equates to the seven main chakras. The third eye is the Ajna or brow chakra. Its energy is that of psychic and spiritual phenomena.
Think about the numbers of people in the world that have depression. Currently, the estimate is 350 million people that suffer from depression worldwide. If those people could decalcify their pineal gland, what a wonderful world it would be! These people would have healthy serotonin levels and not depressed.
The pineal gland governs migration in birds and even a sense of direction in humans. If you have a poor sense of direction, you may be like the almost half of the people in a study with calcified pineal glands.
Our natural state of being is happy, joyful with balanced emotions. However, a lack of fresh organic vegetables, fruits, and natural food void of chemicals, an environment that is toxic, fluoride, fumes, Internet, cell phone EMFs and left-brain thinking are why most people have a calcified pineal gland..
1. Be aware of cell phone and Internet frequencies. Avoid holding your cell phone to your head. EMF frequencies interfere with the pineal gland. Use your headset whenever you use your cell phone. If you can turn your Internet off at night. EMF frequencies have a negative impact on the pineal gland.
2. Drink alkaline water. Alkaline water raises your vibration and distilled water helps to remove heavy metals and toxins from the body. I don't recommend drinking distilled water for more than a few weeks at a time, it is only recommended to remove the poisons from your body. Distilled water has no minerals in it which makes it able to remove heavy metals from the body for short periods of time. Drinking distilled water regularly leads to early death.
3. Avoid fluoride in toothpaste and fluoridated water. All tap water in the US and Canada contains fluoride. Contrary to what we were sold over forty years ago, fluoride is a poison and was put in the water for the express purpose of calcifying our pineal gland.
European countries have banned fluoride use as they have proven it does not prevent cavities as we were lead to believe. The CDC has failed to mention that in all European countries where they do not fluoridate water tooth decay declined. Doesn't it make you wonder what the real purpose of fluoride is?
I have a sister-in-law who was born and raised in England. She was incredulous when she moved to Canada 40 years ago and found that we had fluoride in our tap water. She said it was rat poison and for that reason the UK banned it. Look it up, see the chart on the differences in Germany, Sweden, Luxembourg, Spain, and other countries when fluoride was removed from their water, tooth decay declined when no fluoride was present in the drinking water.
4. Alkalize the body. Eating a diet with more fruits and vegetables and less meat will help to alkalize the body. Meat, sugar, and wheat are highly acidic. Acidity calcifies the third eye.
5. Take off your glasses and sunglasses! Be aware that contact lenses, eyeglasses, and sunglasses block needed light from the third eye. Eyeglasses and contact lenses block UV rays that travel through the retina to the pineal gland.When I am outside in the desert walking my dogs, I have been told many times, "Remove your sunglasses!"
6. Sungaze. Your pineal gland is a crystal that loves light. Walking in the early morning when the sun is rising, or the golden hour when the sun is about to set are the best times to sun gaze as it is very beneficial for decalcification of the pineal gland. Only fifteen minutes at sunrise and fifteen minutes at sunset, your pineal gland will love it!
7. Embrace the darkness. The pineal gland also loves the dark and the light. Light during the day and dark during the night. Avoid sleeping with a night light or windows uncovered to keep yourself in the dark while you sleep. The pineal gland manufactures melatonin naturally while you sleep. Shut out the lights and sleep in complete darkness for the best result.
8. Eat more vegetables and greens. Vegetables are naturally alkalizing, charged with sunlight are electrifying and decalcifying. Vegetables contain biophotons which are electromagnetic waves which mean they are alive. Our body's cells contain biophotons.

Root vegetables like rutabagas, beets, radishes, carrots, turnips, are all very grounding and good for you. Cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, Brussel sprouts and cabbage are also wonderful vegetables to eat for heart health and maintain an alkaline balance. 9. Eat garlic. Garlic is wonderful for decalcifying your third eye, reducing cholesterol and good for the heart and immune system. Garlic is the trifecta of all veggies! Garlic is antiviral, antifungal and antibacterial. Garlic fights parasites which most people have, lowers blood pressure, reduces the risk of stroke and blood clots.
10. Take MSM daily. MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) is an organic sulfur compound naturally derived from the earth's natural precipitation cycle. Sulfur is required by our bodies to remain flexible, youthful rather than rigid.

A preservative in vaccines as stated by the CDC, thimerosol is used as a preservative in vaccines containing more than one vaccine. Any parent knows that children have been vaccinated for measles, mumps and rubella together for years. In recent history, the number of grouped vaccines for children has grown tremendously. Today by the time a child reaches six they have had 50 doses of 14 vaccines. Isn't it time to question why mercury is in vaccines and why children are required to have so many today? My older children weren't subjected to this number.
See a health conscious dentist and have mercury fillings removed. Mercury calcifies the third eye.
12. Think clean positive thoughts. Positive thoughts and actions help to create a healthy environment for body-mind and spirit. Negative and toxic
thoughts toxify the body and the pineal gland.
13. Eat Superfoods! Blue Green Algae and Chlorella, sea moss and wheatgrass.
14. Consume Organic Cacao. Organic chocolate is a superfood which is not only good for the third eye but also your teeth. Holy chocolate batman!
15. Use herbs. Green it up with mugwort, alfalfa, parsley, wood betony and gotu kola. Add parsley and herbs to your smoothies. You can also make a tea or use these herbs on your salad. Smoking these herbs could be part of a sacred ceremony or ritual.
16. Take natural entheogens. Though not for everyone, cannabis, salvia, Ayahuasca, mushrooms and others will also open the pineal gland. So many people in the spiritual community are against marijuana. Smoking herb has been used by native peoples for centuries. I am not crazy about being or getting high, so here is another person's article for your expansion and consideration.
17. Use incandescent light bulbs. Avoid the use of fluorescent bulbs. Your pineal gland needs the full light spectrum which fluorescent bulbs do not contain.
18. Place a crystal on your third eye chakra daily. Crystals have many energetic benefits, decalcifying the pineal gland. Some that work the best are amethyst, clear quartz, my favorite lapis lazuli and sodalite.
19. Place a crystal on your brow chakra daily. Meditating with a crystal is energetically beneficial for pineal decalcification. Some of the favorites are amethyst, clear quartz, sodalite, and lapis lazuli.
20. Eat less meat. If you can, avoid meat altogether. Meat is acidic and calcifies the third eye, which is one of the reasons why so many cultures avoid meat. Cancer lives in an acidic environment. To avoid cancer alkalize your diet and get your pineal gland decalcified at the same time.
21. Avoid sugar, sugar substitutes, and agave. Sugar and most alternatives are acidic. Sugar compromises our immune system and calcifies our third eye. Sugar is found in most bread, tortillas, crackers and processed foods. Once you begin noticing and reading labels you will stop eating anything that has more than one ingredient. 25. Chant. Chanting opens the third eye. Monks know this and chant for hours daily. Using something simple like OM works well. You can do other chants there are many on YouTube.
26. Fast and cleanse. Fasting has been done for centuries for religious and sacred reasons. I have just completed a twelve-day cleanse and six-day liquid only fast. I used a Blessed Herb colon cleanse to eliminate toxins and raise my vibration. Old emotions are released as well as toxins which help to open the third eye. I have never been so excited to see a salad as today! When we are serious about our evolution you will do what it takes to heal, grow and evolve.
