Women are famous for expecting their men to just KNOW what they want. We do it all the time. "You should know me by now....." " I shouldn't have to TELL you!" Unfortunately, most men are just not psychics. We have to actually open up our mouths and kindly ask for what we want.
There are many reasons we don't speak up about sex. We might be afraid of what our men might think. For many, there could be fear involved that we might lose what we have. We don't want to bruise our guy's ego. Of course not. We might have difficulty with our delivery. We might come across as harsh instead of loving when we want something to stop, or continue. Instead of being a dictator in the bedroom, tell him what you like that he does well. Then ask him if he would mind if you could show him something new, that might enhance your experience. "Would you be open to something that might heighten our pleasure, mutually?" When we tell our partner what we do like that they do for us, then add the suggestion, it is softer.
