How To Create A Vacuum For Love To Flow

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

It's Throwback Thursday Everyone!

People hang onto memories, emotions and things. Some people even hang onto relationships that they know don't serve them. When we hold on, we also hold onto the past. Fear of not having enough; not enough love, not enough happiness, not enough money all hold us back. When we hang on to things, we tend to focus on past history, possibly even keeping score. If we hang onto things, we are also hoarding our emotions.

Things do not make you happy

When our hearts and minds are full of past events, there isn't room for new energy to come in. When our homes are filled with things, there is no room for new situations, people or even money to flow in. To create space for a new love, more money, or even new situations we need to make
Disorder in cabinets, chaos in your life
room. Energy cannot fill a place that is already full. In other words, you have to create a vacuum for new energy to come in.

Order. Tidy, net and labeled.
Everything we touch has the energy of that touch attached to it. If we open a bill and say to ourselves, "Well I don't have the money to pay this," the negative energy of our thought attach to that bill. As we stack up mail on our kitchen counter, desk or in a box, the thoughts we think and emotions we feel accumulates. When we begin to go through the pile of bills, we may feel tired, even depressed as soon as we begin. The more things that pile up, the more negative energy that accumulates.

Everything in it's place. It makes you feel good!
Ahhh! Order!
Anywhere things accumulate heavy energy flows. If our closets are stuffed with clothing, there is no room for a new person to come in. To allow new positive energy to flow into our home, we need to have order, tidiness, and a clean space. The Universe loves order. You have heard the phrase, "Cleanliness is next to Godliness."

Following are 5 Simple Ways to Create A Vacuum and Order:

  1. Throw away anything that is broken or has missing pieces. Hanging on to broken items shows the universe that you are living in fear of not having enough. You are also showing the universe that you will tolerate and accept things that aren't right in your world.
  2. If you have not used or worn it in a year, give it away. Send it off with love. Recycle things that don't fit. If they don't fit now, will they fit in a month? If not, give them away. There are plenty of thrift stores that would gladly receive your lovingly worn cast-offs. Someone else would love to have what you don't need or wear. Take the receipt and use the tax write-off.
  3. Look at each item with these questions. Do I love it? Does it make me feel joy? If not give it away. Things that Aunt Martha
gave you or you spent good money on do not necessarily net good emotions. If something makes you feel sad, remorse or guilt - get rid of it!
  4. The Universe loves a joyful giver. Be loving rather than stingy when you give. Bless each bag with love and let it go.
  5. Once you have cleared out closets, cupboards and countertops, give each area a good cleaning. Pray over and bless each space. Then watch as good things begin to happen. The Universe loves a vacuum and will fill it up with wonderful things. Remember energy cannot move into a space that is already filled. If you are hanging onto that man just to
have one, you are not allowing someone better to show up. Let him go so he can be happy too!
When you put things away in their proper place, you know where they are. When you know where your keys are, always in the same place, you can get out the door on time. Creating order may take some time to accomplish, but it will save you infinite hours or shuffling through boxes or cabinets to find that one thing!

Order, and clearing out the things you don't love, need or use will open up the channel for the universe to fill the vacuum created. Just watch all the good things that flood into those open spaces! I want to hear about your experience. How has emotional hoarding caused you pain? How has order created room for new things, situations, and people to flow to you?

I am personally motivated this week, as I have a houseguest coming to visit. There is no bigger motivator for getting yourself organized and tidy than having someone stay in your home. Closets and drawers speak volumes. If you can't reach me, it is because I am up to my eyeballs organizing and releasing what I don't use.

Probably the most profound work I do for people is clear old patterns that hold you back. Trauma, emotions, beliefs, and blocks once removed allow your energy to move to a higher level. Without all the pain stuck in your cells, you become lighter, happier and more positive. Why not get your energy cleared and see all the changes happen for you? Book your energy clearing appointment here now.

I discovered someone who does what I do and charges $720 for 50 minutes. Just $225 for your first 60-minute clearing. Book now

21 Quickie Life Hacks For Everyday Happiness

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Happy people have many things in common. They have encountered adversity and overcome it. They recognize that nothing that is worth having comes easily. They also have consistent habits that create daily happiness no matter what is happening.

Being happy isn't just about what you need to do, but what you need to stop doing so that you will feel happier. Happy people shift their focus. Happy people like to play.

When I was sixteen I knew that there had to be more to life than the rat race of life. I set about to change the way I felt about what I experienced. Shifting my focus has created not just happiness for me but ecstasy and bliss on a daily basis

Beginning today think differently about what you are experiencing. Instead of feeling that everyone is out to get you, focus on what you are being shown about yourself. Everything in our world is a reflection of what is going on inside of each of us. Every moment of every day is a gift, what do you do when someone gives you a gift?

Scientific Research recognizes that happy people are more productive, accomplish more and have much more joi de vive.

21 Life Hacks For Your Everyday Happiness:

1. Say thank you! Gratitude is the biggest thing missing from those who are unhappy. Instead of recognizing the lesson being given and the beauty of the moment we tend to wallow in self-pity when we are unhappy.

The truth is that everyone experiences difficulties. It is how we choose to react and process our challenges that will shift our experience.

Unhappy people tell everyone their story of woe looking for buy-in and support in their misery. After a breakup an unhappy person will continue to dwell on what the other person did to them, rather than look at what the relationship gave them as a gift and what they learned. Learning the lesson allows you to move on and choose something different the next time.

Happy people recognize that each event is just a lesson. They close the book on their past story and say,  "Thank you for my lesson" and wonder what they are supposed to learn?

2. Look up instead of down. When we are depressed or unhappy we tend to look down when we walk. We notice only the negative, the bumps, imperfections, and dirt. When we focus upward, or on the positive we see the open sky, new opportunities, and options. Looking up adopts a positive attitude knowing that there is a purpose in all that is happening. Positive thoughts create vibrant health.

When something falls apart, it is because something better is on its way. Optimism shifts our focus from the closed door and recognizes that a new door is opening with better opportunities.

3. Be kind. When we are kind to others we are also kinder toward ourselves. Serotonin increases in the brain when we act with kindness.

4. Smile. Science backs me up here, with evidence that our brain chemistry changes when we smile. A Duchenne Marker smile actually increases happiness. Duchenne studied smiles of all types. He found that when people smiled which caused crinkles around the corners of the eyes that they are smiling with their soul.

The left prefrontal cortex of the brain where the pleasure centers reside are activated even more so with a spontaneous smile than one that is faked.

5. Make Friends. High-quality relationships with a few people is one of the keys to happiness and longevity. A sense of security is developed with mutual assistance and support. An older person who is lonely has a 14% greater chance of premature death. The impact of being lonely has almost as great an impact on early death as being poor - 19% increase.

6. Participate. Life is a full-contact participatory sport that requires you to engage in social activities to be happy. If you have no network of friends or social activities, join a club. Bowling leagues, baseball, climbing, meditation, Oneness, hiking and travel groups offer networking activities. Join one today. Meet with your group regularly. Don't just sit on the sidelines of life - participate!

7. Breathe deeply. Deep breathing brings you into the present, affirms life and makes you feel grounded. It is so easy to remind yourself to breathe deeply each hour. Set a chime on your phone. No one needs to know what the reminder is.

8. Rescue a pet. There are thousands of unwanted dogs and cats that need homes. A rescued pet is grateful for a loving home and will love you in return. A pet can keep you company, greet you when you get home and helps dissolve loneliness. Watching, playing and communicating with a cat or a dog can help you feel more fulfilled. You are giving a rescued animal a home - it's a win-win for you both! A dog can encourage you to get outdoors so that you move and receive daily exercise.

9. Get out in the sunshine! Many people have developed fears of the sun. The sun is required for vibrant health, life and rejuvenation. There are benefits to being outside. The sun is required for vibrant health, life and rejuvenation. Without the sun people become depressed, are more prone to suicidal thoughts and negative behaviors such as looking to foods, sweets, drinking or drugs to soothe

10. Create A Healthy Daily Regimen. Get up at the same time and go to bed at the same time. Eat three meals a day that are four hours apart or less. A schedule will help you regulate natural hormones because you are getting enough sleep and food to support your health and function. Happy people take care of themselves because they know they are worth it.

11. Avoid Alcohol. Alcohol is a depressant. It might make you feel happy while you are drinking, but the day after your mood will drop and you may become depressed. Developing positive healthy habits, without drugs and alcohol helps to keep you feeling positive and happy.

13. Avoid Gossip. Talking negatively about others is something happy people just don't do. They focus on themselves and encourage rather than defame others.  Remember what goes around comes around; if you talk about others negatively, others will talk about you in the same way.

14. Stop Comparing. You are unique. There is no one else on this planet that has your gifts, talents, abilities or purpose. Recognize that being different is a gift. Focus on your uniqueness rather than comparing yourself to others. There will always be someone with a better body, more intelligence or something other than what you have. Comparing will always make you feel less than others. So stop it!

15. Don't Complain. Complaining dwells on the negative and will create more of the same for you. Instead, look for the silver lining in the situation. What are you learning here? How could shift your focus so that you find the beauty in the moment?

16. Move Your Body! Movement is what our body needs to feel happy. If we sit all day at work, only walk a few steps to our car and then sit on our couch or chair all evening our body won't be happy. Our health suffers from a sedentary lifestyle. Your chair is not your friend! Get off that couch and dance, walk or swim. Do an exercise to music so that you feel happy while doing it.

17. Play happy Music. Music will shift your mood quickly. I have been around people prone to depression and found that their musical selections are also sad, depressing tunes. Choose music that makes you feel happy, rather than sad. Music will shift your mood very quickly.

18. Surround Yourself With Happy People. Just like surrounding yourself with wealthy people helps you be wealthy, surrounding yourself with happy people helps your be happier. When you are around happy people, you will find your thoughts, words and emotions are more positive, uplifting and focused on happy things.

19. Enjoy Beauty.  A very simple way to have a happier life is to focus on the beauty around you. Begin to notice flowers, trees, landscaping that is beautifully arranged. The earth abounds with beauty. Beauty will help you feel happy. Stop, sniff the roses along your path.

20. Give Others Compliments. When you begin to be generous with heartfelt compliments you will find you feel happier. Others love to be noticed for their new haircut, fit arms or their beautiful smile. Make sure you mean what you say. Noticing the beauty in others will also help you see the beauty within.

21. Choose Happiness. Every day we have a choice. We can wake up and allow ourselves to be in a bad mood, focusing on everything wrong in our lives. OR we can choose to focus on the good, the beautiful and the wonderful gifts that surround us daily. Choosing happiness is the biggest thing you can do for yourself on a daily basis. I choose to be happy, what do you choose for you?

Life's Game Changer

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Each of us have experienced events in our lives that are game changers. These events wake us up to a higher purpose and change the course of our lives. For some, it is an unexpected divorce, cancer or some other health crisis. For others, it could be an untimely death of a loved one. Whatever the event, our lives are never the same.

Living and Loving on Purpose

Being consciously loving changes life. When we focus on the good in ourselves, we see the good in others. When we begin to view each person we encounter as our brothers and sisters in Oneness, we also recognize our personal Divinity. Seeing our own Divinity allows us to be more loving, accepting. We begin to find ways to give back. When we do, our life really begins to raise us up. Instead of looking at the way we screwed up our life, we see how we can better it. Seeing the win-win solutions for our friends, family and clients changes the playing field completely.

Infinite Possibilities

Our horizons instead of being bleak are multi-colored and amazingly diverse. Even in the midst of rain, the rainbow appears. We begin to see that there is always more than
one way to get there. The possibilities are endless. Asking questions opens the door to infinite possibilities.

Discovery of our gifts and talents sets us in a forward motion and the spiral of self sabotage ends. Pain and suffering becomes a thing of the past. Illness and aging slows. We are thriving instead of existing. What a concept! The more positive we are, the more energy we have. The more energy we have, the more people we can serve and help. The more light we can hold in our body the greater our life becomes. The spiral in reverse, is an ever uplifting one. The more we live on purpose, and serve humanity in some way, the more happiness and fulfillment we experience. Giving to others becomes fuel and food for our soul.

Haven't Experienced Yours Yet?

Sometimes, it is pain that we experience. Physical, emotional, even mental pain. Anxiety, panic attacks and depression occur when we can't move forward. Sometimes, we feel stuck feeling that there is no possible way out. We seem to be laying at the bottom of the forest unable to see the light of day, never mind seeing the forest for the trees. Pain can be what you need to spur you forward, into taking the first step towards meditation, mantras, or prayer. Pain is often the catalyst for change.

I remember how lost I felt when I did not experience The Divine. I wondered about the existence of such a being. I certainly knew that God was not the white haired robed being who was angered when teens or even adults masturbated, or didn't attend church. I knew that God was false. Finding a connection with a superior being who is loving and accepting caused me to have a transformation that cannot be removed or withdrawn. It is permanent. The game-changer for me was to be in conversation with Source energy. To have my questions answered, was amazing! It was like completing a circuit. The elevator went all the way to the top floor! The missing components simultaneously lit up. Writing for me became one of ease. Rather than having to think of what to write, all I had to do was ask. What do you want me to write about today? What do people need to hear? Writers block does not occur when you are in the flow.

Being In The Flow

There are many ways to experience being in the flow. The easiest way for me is to go into meditation. I begin with prayers of gratitude for all that I have, all my clients, my family, friends and pets. Gratitude for me opens up that connection, with all that is. It is the greased lightning. When I sit in silence after expressing my gratitude, I simply ask a question. Once asked, I wait in silence for the response. Sometimes it is a wildly funny response. The one thing I know to be sure, the guidance is never wrong. Sometimes, I get involved in other things and don't act on what I received, immediately. My reaction is delayed. When I delay, others have received the same or similar information. They may beat me to the punch. That is my issue. I am human. Sometimes, I don't feel like creating 5 videos a week, or writing 8 blogs in 5 days.

Law of Compensation- The Universal Law is the Law of Cause and effect applied to blessings and abundance that are provided for us. The visible effects of our deeds are given to us in gifts, money, inheritances, friendships and blessings.

Maintaining Balance

Meditating daily is the way I maintain balance. Not only does it ground me spiritually, it helps clear my mind, get connected and give me direction. When we go off trying to figure out what to do, we are coming from our ego minds. Instead connecting to our higher power gives you clear insight and aligns you with Divine will. In this way, we are guided rather than using our own mental constructs to run our lives. Life becomes easy, effortless when we are not being run by our ego-mind. I begin with prayers of gratitude, and requests for healing for my clients. I may do another mantra before beginning this meditation. The Divine Presence Process Meditation was given to me - I did not figure it out. I did this meditation every day, sometimes several times a day for 11 months without fail, the year I became enlightened. It was instrumental in my enlightenment process.

The more we give, the more that is given back to us. Leaving a generous tip at a restaurant will bring generosity to you. It might be from a police officer who lets you off with a warning. It could be
that your spouse is extra loving to you. Giving to others opens the door for others to give to you. Energy moves in a circle. Whatever you send out boomerangs back to you, whether it is positive or negative. My sense is that anyone who helps animals is rewarded in one way or another. The joy of the love that they share with us is just one way we are repaid.

The Art Of Surrender

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Many of us fight with life, others and ourselves. Letting go of the need to be right, or fix a situation comes from our small selves, our ego-mind. If you are at war with an ex, a community, or person, try surrendering and see the amazing results. We can only see a situation in 2, possibly 3 dimensions. Yet, The Universe can send us a resolution we never dreamed of. The power of surrender can change a situation instantly.

I recently met with a client who told me that she has felt the need to speak out, stand up and go to war with teams, communities and friends. Boy, oh boy, I do remember feeling that I needed to fight with my exes. I fought for custody, money and material things. Looking back there are many things that I am able to see through new eyes. As we relinquish control we let go of fear and stand in faith. When we have faith that all will work out for every one's best - it magically does.

Let me tell you my extraordinary experience with surrender. It will change the way you think about divorce, marriage, relationships and life in general. Life is not supposed to be one big war. Our smaller selves, make it that way. When we have inner conflict, we fight with others. We try to change situations. We attempt to extract our own agenda. When we are at war there is no harmony in our lives, or within us. Peace does not come to those who are at war.

Win The Battle Lose The Relationship War

When I divorced my third ex-husband, Rich Resuta, I felt vindicated, I felt right. He was abusive, controlling and had affairs. He lied, cheated and did not want to pay child support. I wanted to make him pay. I wanted to make him pay for what he did to me. I was angry after our marriage ended. I had good reason to be, so I thought.

Rich insisted on shared custody. In this scenario, he did not have to pay child support. Each time we went to court, he won. When we met with the mediator, the mediator asked me to step out of the room and made a side deal with my ex. I was flabbergasted. This type of thing should NEVER happen in a mediated situation. I studied, did my homework and even bought a book, "Custody War." I was at war.

I fought for full custody, which is what my 7-year old daughter wanted. She cried every Sunday night when she was with me, knowing the very next day after school her father would have her for the next week. She had no roots, no home, because she was like a ping pong ball going back and forth between us. When she got sick, Rich had no idea what to do. I had to go to his house and bring Ariel whatever she needed at the time. I had to comfort her on numerous occasions.

Ariel would cry at his house wanting me. She missed me. So I fought for her rights. The guardian ad litem did not believe a word I said, or anything Ariel said. Thinking that Rich was telling the truth. When Ariel spoke up about what she wanted, the guardian thought I was filling her head with ideas, because that was what Rich told her. He schmoozed her. Flirted with her and kept the truth from her. So I fought for Ariel.

Each time I went to court, I spent almost $10,000. Hearing after hearing, I would leave the court in tears. I never won. I always left feeling that I had my face down in the dirt. I felt lowly. I felt beaten.

It was after a particularly long and grueling battle, where I asked friends, family members for letters about my parenting, and my relationship with my daughter. I was armed with photos of our life together, with animals, pets, and her brothers. I prepared for months. I toiled over the book with the letters and photos. Handing it over to the court system, I waited for the verdict. Shared custody remained. I felt shattered. On the way home, I had a conversation with my high self. I asked questions. I got answers.

Surrender - Where The Magic Begins

October 18th, 7 years after the onset of our custody battle, I made a huge decision that would change my life. Upon returning to my daughter, I told her I was giving up the fight. I was putting my boxing gloves away. Every time I fought, I lost. I knew there was a huge message here for me. I told Ariel she needed to tell her father what she wanted. I would no longer go to court to try to win. She felt hurt. She felt I did not want her to live with me full time. I told her that was not it at all. Of course I loved her. I wanted her to have a steady home, in one place more than ever. I just chose to not fight with her father any more.

Rich had moved in with his sister across town. It took him 45 minutes to drive Ariel to school during rush hour. I did not question his choice. I let it go. Ariel complained to me about the long drive, but she loved begin near her aunt and uncle. I knew that some good would come out of this.

Three months later almost to the day, Rich called me at 9:00 AM. I will never forget his words. "Do you still want Ariel to live with you full time?" "DO I?!!!!" I was ecstatic. "Of course, I do." Rich told me that his financial situation had taken a bad turn. He had to move in with someone. He would not be able to have Ariel stay wherever he was living. He moved in with his girlfriend, but was very private about that part. I did not ask. I knew he felt lost, sad and very disheartened about not having Ariel with him every other week. He had tried very hard to maintain a home in a very difficult economy. Both of us had contracting businesses. His was high-end residential home building. Mine was landscaping. Both of us had taken a huge hit financially because of the downturn of the economy.

Ariel had to wait till the end of the day to talk to me. She had to sit squirming in her desk at school with the excitement in her heart about her wishes being fulfilled. When we finally got together at the end of the day, we embraced each other and burst into tears. It had taken 7 years of fighting and three months of surrender, but Ariel got her wish.

Surrender is letting go. Surrender is having faith that everything will work out in spite of our ego-selves. Surrender is taking your firm grip off the steering wheel of life and allowing The Universe to work things out for every one's highest and best.

The Universe (God, The Divine, Allah) knows so much better what we need. We might not get what we want all the time, but we certainly get what we need.

We can't live in our passion when we have a firm grip on the steering wheel. When we align our hearts and minds with The Universal Mind (The God Mind) we step into the flow of life. We stop fighting and we begin to really LIVE!

What I learned from this experience is that fighting or warring to get what I want will always and in every way land me face down in the dirt. Surrender allows magic to happen and events to unfold that are exquisite. The Universe is always and in every way working FOR you. When we fight, we get fight back. When we fight, we are in conflict with ourselves. When we let go and let God (take over) we are in the FLOW. It is a journey of faith, trust and miracles. I would rather live with miracles that war. I learned my lesson, the hard way.

I am grateful for this lesson. After receiving a particularly hard one, I always say a prayer of thanks. Being grateful for our lessons, allows life to unfold in a softer way. When we push our energy, we only know of two outcomes. The Universe has infinite outcomes at her disposal. When we let go, we also let go of suffering, resistance and fear. Faith is where we stand, strong.
