Spirit Messages

Messages From The Other Side?
Rich Resuta and Ariel, January 2012, on top of Flagstaff Mountain, Boulder, Colorado

Being Psychic You See The Good and The Bad

As an intuitive healer, sensing and feeling what is going on with a client is powerful and makes healing much faster because I can get to the root of the issue in minutes rather than months. When it comes to loved ones, even ex-husbands, it can give one insight into things you may wish you did not know. When Rich Resuta asked me last May, "Was the infection cleared up with the antibiotics for his abscessed tooth?" I had to tell him it had traveled to his heart and may even cause his death. That was tough. When I asked for my gift of sight to come in completely, I was told, "You know you will see everything, not just the positive." I had to agree that I understood that was the case. I did an Akashic Record reading on March 25, 2012 where The Ascended Masters told me that Rich would not be around much longer.

Some of you already know that I predicted Rich's death in May, he died in his sleep on the night of July 4th, 2012. This has been devastating to Ariel and she has grown a lot since that day.
Rich, Ariel's 16th birthday Scott Carpenter Park, CO 2012
Rich had been a runner since High School. His knowledge of fitness, with a degree in Physical Education and the fact that he taught PE in Georgia for two years made him a great coach for all of our children. As a step-father to Adam and David, he encouraged them to run, which they did in High School. Even Ariel ran cross country for Milton, High as well as Girl's On The Run in middle school. Adam and David both ran the Peachtree with Rich several times, Ariel once. Adam even went on to run the Half Marathon in Atlanta on Thanksgiving Day in 1999.

Father's Day has been looming large on the horizon as the next first that Ariel has to experience without the physical presence of her father. I was very aware of Father's Day coming up and was wondering what I could do to make it any easier for her. Saturday, June 1st, I got guidance to take Ariel to breakfast, even though I had deadlines to meet and work to do. My guides told me she needed me and my undivided attention - away from my home office. When she came into my office, to tell me about her latest dream sequence, I said, "Hold that thought, we'll go out for breakfast and you can tell me then." By the time she was showered, dressed and we were out the door, it was more like lunchtime. I commented on Ariel's choice of clothing, a 17-year-old marathon t-shirt of her late father's. She shrugged meaning, "It was what I was told to wear." We live daily by following our intuitive guidance. Our lives flow so much more beautifully when we do. We both have paid the price dearly with pain, suffering and backward motion when we do not.

I asked where she wanted to eat and Ariel said, Chili's. Chili's had been a long-standing favorite of her's for her father-daughter Sundays. For the past three years, Rich would pick Ariel up and take her out to lunch and they spent the afternoon talking while they ate, taking their conversation into Rich's truck, usually parked in front of our house for hours while they sat and talked together. It is what Ariel misses most about her father's passing. It was an opportunity for Ariel to talk about her friends, who she had a crush on and what was going on in school. Rich was always attentive and gave her his best guidance on each situation, whether Ariel agreed or not. Rich was very self disciplined and helped Ariel with a lot of life's events.

When they drove to the restaurant Rich played music and Ariel encouraged her father to sing along with her to their favorite songs. One in particular was called, The Center of Attention, by an artist called Guster. I had never heard this song before. Ariel uploaded it to her phone after her father's transition (apparent death) and we listened to it often on long road trips between Colorado and Georgia, or during our move to California. It always reminded Ariel of her father. It was like a direct link to her Dad.
When we sat in our booth at Chili's Saturday, June 1st, in Lancaster, California hungrily awaiting our order to be delivered we were both taken by complete surprise by the song that suddenly began to play. Yes, it was Guster, The Center of Attention. Ariel and I immediate looked at each other and burst into tears. We could feel his presence. Ariel was sitting across the table from me wearing her father's marathon shirt a week after the Boulder Boulder where Adam, my oldest sone experienced Rich's presence.
You could say, "Well that was a coincidence." To the nay sayers, I will tell you that almost every night while I work doing energy clearings in my office that Rich shows up energetically, knocks once on my closet door. I always ask, "Who is there?" They typical response is in Rich's dry and sarcastic tone, "Who else?" Or, "Who did you expect?" I know what Rich's energy feels like. He was present on top of Flagstaff Mountain, in Boulder when we did his ceremony. I could hear him say to me, "Bye Jennifer !"

Adam and Ariel - Milton C.C. 2011
In his typical taunting voice he always used when he said my name. Personalities come across the ethers. Their voice remains the same, as does their energy. I am a medium. Spirits talk to me. I hear the voices of St. Germain, Archangel Michael and others on a daily basis. When you sense energy blueprints, you come to recognize people just by their energy rather than their physical presence.
Adam and David Gates

Rich has shown up for both of my sons at different times, since his apparent physical death. When Adam ran the Boulder, Boulder Memorial weekend he told me "Rich came in at mile 1." Rich was a runner and ran the Peachtree Road Race 26 years in a row. The only one he missed was this past one (July 4, 2012, the day he (died).

When David built a changing table this spring for his best friend,
David Gates
he asked Rich to help him. He felt his presence and was able to create a beautiful piece of furniture with little knowledge and expertise.
David and Ashley Gates 2010
David said, he could not have built it without Rich.

I use brackets here, because every time I use the word death, or died in reference to him or my friends, Diana Davis or JoAnne Butler who also transitioned within weeks of each other they all say, "WE ARE NOT DEAD!" The difference is that they are not in physical form. They are still very much alive. They think, they feel and they experience. Just like we do in a physical body. Rich has such a sense of humor he even showed up in my dream one night, having explicit oral sex with me! It was not a dream, it was very real. I had to make it very clear this was not okay. It never happened again. Rich laughed about it afterward. He thought it was funny. So I know first hand that Spirits can do a lot of things, like play music when they want to get your attention. They can also come into your dreams if they choose to get a message to you. Rich remained hopeful that we would be intimate that last year when he visited us in Boulder, Co. I was not interested in going there, hence his visit to me in my dream after his transition.

I had two miraculous music encounters with Rich's spirit twice in 2012, where he played music which sent me a very clear message. The link above regarding Rich's death explains the first experience I had. In September, 2012, I had to drive to Williston, North Dakota to pick up Rich's truck, which was now Ariel's and the rest of his belongings. Ariel is the sole heir. The only way to get his belongings was to take a plane and a bus to get there and drive his truck back to Colorado. On the way back, I hesitated to get in his truck and drive in Rich's energy for 12 hours. His energy was all over the truck, in the glove box, the console, everywhere I looked. When I finally got on the road, I plugged in my phone and listened to downloaded music till it began to crackle. Strange that it did so, as the music was on my phone and not coming over radio waves. I was forced to push the button on the radio to stop the noisy static being emitted.

I heard Rich's voice as I began to push buttons say, "Remember the year Ariel was born?" Of course I did, "It was 1996, May 21st to be exact." As I pushed the button the static stopped and music began to play. It was Lighning Crashes, by Live. This music was playing all over the airwaves the year Ariel was born. It is the story of life and death. Women having babies, abortions, and old mother dying. It was very poignant and emotional for me.  The next song that played was Stupid Girl by Garbage. I knew that RIch always thought I was stupid for divorcing him, feeling that marriage should be till death.
Ariel, Mojave Desert, CA 2012 in her Dad's truck
There were 7 other songs that played and  sent me a very clear message of what he was thinking about and wanted me to know. Each song that played told me a story and gave me a message. There is no doubt in my mind that Rich caused these songs to play and caused my phone to crackle so that I had to turn on the radio. When the announcer came on the air, I was blown away even further, "We're playing music from 1996, all weekend!" What are the chances that the pushing of buttons I was unfamiliar with to preset stations would land me on the very one that was playing songs from the year of our daughter's birth? 10,000 to one? No more like 1,000,000 to one. Proving miracles happen every day and spirits can communicate with us if we are awake enough to notice. We became friends in the last years of his life, and spent time together in Boulder when he visited Ariel while working in North Dakota. We often went to my favorite pie place, The Walnut Cafe and had breakfast together while Ariel slept in.

Rich was instrumental in giving me the courage to start my landscaping business in Atlanta, Georgia in 2001. He was a home builder and hired me to landscape a high end residential home for a famous infertility specialist in Buckhead. My company, For Heaven Scapes, Ltd
Adam and David Gates, Jennifer and Ariel
was opened in 2001 and was closed in September 2011 when Ariel and I moved to Boulder, Colorado. Giving credit where credit is due, had it not been for his encouragement, I know I would never have taken the leap from Master Gardener to landscape professional. I also give Rich credit for helping to end my pity party of victimization. Our marriage was tumultuous; a soul mate relationship. Not the idyllic kind you hear about in books. It was difficult, challenging and life altering. He gave me the gift of Ariel at 41. Soul mate relationships are all about making monumental changes in one's life. That he did. All of my kids worked for For Heaven Scapes at different times. This company provided me the impetus to continue to be entrepreneurial, rather than return to corporate America. Working in the dirt, creating beautiful landscapes for my clients was my passion for over 10 years. It gave me great joy and grounded me, teaching me many lessons about the earth and how everything is alive. I experienced the consciousness of trees and plants during this time for the first time. I came to the understanding that God consciousness is in every rock, tree, blade of grass and every flower. When you look back to see who it was that gave you the impetus to move you beyond your small self, it is time to take note and be Grateful. I am grateful to Rich Resuta and all the lessons he gave me, big and small. They shattered what I thought was reality and moved me to a higher plane of existence. He continues to make comments to me about our daughter, Ariel. In Albuquerque, New Mexico he strongly commented about me letter Ariel and Tessa

I am open to hearing your questions and comments on this subject, because I know a lot of people have questions about what happens after death. I have had quite a lot of first hand experience with loved ones leaving this plane, and one who died in my presence (John Armbruster read my book, Odyssey Victim to Victory for the details of this amazing experience). Visit Jennifer Elizabeth Master's website

I found Joy at WalMart!

Bloom Where You Are Planted

As a hypnotherapist and psychic life coach business owner, moving from town-to-town can have some challenges. Trusting and following my intuition, my daughter and I moved from our Beloved town of Boulder to the Mojave desert. With two long distance moves in the past two years getting re-established in a new community and building a client base has been interesting to say the least.

Outcroppings near Lancaster, CA
Since my awakening I find myself to be happy doing anything. In a constant state of inner peace I have become a witness of my own life. The Mojave desert has its own beauty, but does not hold a candle to the pristine beauty of the Colorado Rockies. I find myself noticing the plastic grocery bags that blow across the street, or the tires thrown carelessly in the dunes. It just is. I am able to see beauty in the sparse vegetation and the naked mountains. The tumble weed that blows across Interstate 14 makes me laugh. I feel I am on the set of an old Spaghetti Western movie. I keep looking for Clint Eastwood to walk out of the dunes. With many movie sets in our midst that is not an impossibility.

The community I live in is predominantly below the poverty line with well over 60% of the population on food stamps, social security and welfare.

Why Did God Send Me To The Desert?

One man's treasure.........

At first I wondered......... then it became increasingly obvious that I was needed here to shed light in a dark place. We arrived in the desert at the beginning of winter. I thought California was warm. All those songs about California girls had to have been written in the summer-time! There is a constant wild wind that whips across the flat open space. A forty-something male tried to make me feel badly by telling me I looked ridiculous in my parka. I couldn't have cared less how I looked. The old me is gone. The new me is not judgmental or critical. There are no voices in my head making constant comments about myself and others. I could not seem to get warm. I don't feel defensive in the least and certainly do not take other's stuff personally. The fact that I did not care how I looked was comical to me. This cold chilled me to the bone. Being comfortable in this climate was.

I have found it to be colder than my favorite place on earth, Boulder Colorado. With no heat in our rental home for the first two weeks, and cold water as well.  My previous California Dreamin' on such a winter's day is a several more months away!

I had to find a part-time job to fill in the gap between what I was earning as a psychic coach and healer. Although I feel and look young, prospective employers these days look at the graduation date on your resume. Mine had not seen the light of day in decades. Getting in front of a would-be employer is not like it used to be in the days of paper resumes and one-on-one interviews. As a white woman I have not encountered much discrimination until recently. I look 40, but my birth certificate says otherwise. Finding an office job was becoming increasingly difficult. I knew better than to fight or resist what was happening. Instead I took a different fork in the road. I had applied to 300 different companies in all sorts of capacities. I was not picky. I just needed a job. After weeks without fruit from all my seed planting, I looked at different opportunities. I applied for a position as a promoter. I was ecstatic when I got an e-mail response. I had seen women who promoted products at Costco in their hairnets. I really began to wonder what God wanted of me. I was an author, well educated and intelligent. My vanity was being put to the test.

I was delighted to have the opportunity to do a phone interview with the Regional Manager of Zip Fizz. We hit is off instantly and I was relieved to find he was conscious and awake. Breathing a sigh of relief I agreed to a two day working interview at Walmart for minimum wage. I knew I had the job. Of all the places I had applied for work, Walmart was not one of them. I preferred Target.

I studied and prepared prior to my on the job interview. I arrived prepared and early. I was grateful to have an opportunity for employment. The training manager was pleasant, personable and professional. I was beginning to really like this Zip Fizz company.
WHAT IS Zip Fizz?
Zip Fizz was created by a naturopath to replace the killer energy drinks like Monster and Red Bull. It is loaded with vitamin B-12, potassium, magnesium and many other minerals. I learned how to mix the powder in water and after a few hiccups was very quickly selling my quota of product. My trainer was outgoing and used a carnival type approach to selling the product. Using Peg's methods I began shouting out the words with a high pitch crescendo, "Zip Fizz! Sports drink, healthy nutritional energy drink! Loaded with vitamin B-12, potassium and magnesium with no sugar! I said it so often during an eight-hour work day, it became second nature. In the middle of my shift at Walmart, I stopped to take a break to run to the rest-room. I sat down, shutting my eyes momentarily. I coasted easily into a place of neutrality - a meditative state. Unconsciously I shouted out to to the three other ladies in the stalls, "ZIP FIZZ!" When I realized I had done this out loud in the middle of the restroom,  I sat in my stall chuckling at first and then finally laughing out loud at myself. I had come to a place of complete loving acceptance of myself no matter what I did. I was a goof ball and I didn't care in the least! Zip Fizz indeed had gotten into my soul.

Working at Walmart opened my eyes to the number of sick and dying population. I have not had health insurance for over 15 years because I have been a business owner all that time. As a landscape designer and contractor in Georgia I never considered it. Health insurance to me was a guarantee that you will become sick. It felt like a crutch to me. Something to lean on. Leaning on something other than The Divine is not in my nature. I knew I did not want to be ill and die when I have so much to live for. Being or getting sick is not an option. One of my mantras is "I am vibrantly healthy." I give thanks for my vibrant health daily.

It was not long before I recognized that I was actually enjoying my job. Most nights I stayed beyond my working hours to assist an elderly gentleman or woman who could not find a product after the pharmacy staff had left the store. It was my joy to help someone in whatever way I could. It felt good to be doing something constructive. I never said "I can't help you I don't work for Walmart." They needed help and I gave it to them. They talked to me about their ailments. Many were in pain. I was working at Walmart and in JOY! Interesting.
Joshua tree and tire
Lake Los Angeles - a bit dry for my taste
I enjoyed talking with people and found they liked talking to me. I connected with old farmers, and firemen, school teachers and many retired people. I met several Viet Nam vets in wheel chairs. People on oxygen, and loaded with prescription medicine, many using wheel chairs. It was reminiscent of the movie Wally. I began to wonder if that movie was based on Walmart. Old and young people came to my demo table and I talked to every single one of them. I gave my book away to several women who seemed like they could use some encouragement. My heart was actually singing while I offered Zip Fizz to the Walmart customers. I realized that it is not the place that was making me happy, it was the fact that I was being of service to The Divine, while offering Zip Fizz at Walmart. God never makes mistakes. We just don't know why were are sent somewhere going in. It is often revealed along the way if we are awake enough to notice. The Universe loves win-win situations. I was working, getting paid a decent wage. I received a steady stream of income and I was happy to be of service. I always gave more than was expected of me. I recognized that when you have inner peace it does not matter where you are or what you are doing. It is not the job we are doing, but how we do it that mattered. It was going above and beyond, giving of myself that made my heart sing.

People who know me recognize my directness. I don't BS and I don't lie. At the end of my shift I had to walk into the back of the store and dispose of my cardboard and trash, walking past the stock boys on my way. I overheard one say in reply to another's prodding to move faster, that he got paid $10.00 an hour and he was moving at a $10 an hour speed. I called him on his BS as I walked by.  "Be happy you have a job, as many don't." Until you have gone without and eaten what is in the back of your cupboard for weeks on end, you cannot possibly recognize what it is to go without. I am grateful for my little part-time job. Where I am treated well, and acknowledged for my contribution.

I recognize that I am in a different place in my life. I am grateful to be alive and healthy. I can see other's suffering and be compassionate towards them, but I can't change them, nor do I want to. When I committed to serve The Divine in 2010 I never dreamt of all the wonderful places I would be asked to go. Walmart was certainly not one of the places I thought I would frequent and be so delighted to be.

Manic Move to the Mojave More Magic and Miracles

Manic Move to the Mojave More Magic and Miracles
PART I

The story of how we got here is unbelievable.

The Back Story..... How It Began

Jennifer in front, on the Ganges River, India 2004 at sunrise

In August of 2010, I committed to serve The Divine and all of humanity at an Indian mound ceremony in Florida, I had no idea where I would end up, and absolutely no idea what I was doing to serve God. Being a loving and caring person has challenges. Knowing when to say no is one of them.

Stage, age 27 was a dear friend and neighbor

My 2010 trip to Bali Indonesia changed my life forever. The sovereign commitment I made that day turned my life over to a Higher Power.was no longer in charge.  Doors opened and I walked through. On August 20, 2010, I received the following guidance, "Get rid of your stuff or we will do it for you." On our way to visit our friend Diana Davis, I was told, "move your truck and trailer." I have learned the guidance is never wrong.

I moved my truck and trailer, asked if it would be safe where I left it, and got an affirmative. Ariel and I left for an overnight visit to Saute Georgia. My neighbor called me to let me know our Weimaraner Isabella had jumped out the window while we were away. When I returned and walked behind the house I saw 3 of the 6 beautiful 100-year-old oak trees had split and landed on the roof of the house. This began a cycle that created a domino effect. Rain poured in the roof from the tree damage, and too much moisture because our landlord refused to fix our air conditioner. Black mold was everywhere. On coats, in dresser drawers, and on jewelry. No wonder we all had asthma.

After loosing everything we owned to black mold, we left the farm house and 7 acres we loved and moved to a basement apartment in Alpharetta, Georgia in the middle of Ariel's first semester of high school. The only furniture we had was what Ariel's father (my ex-husband, Rich) loaned us. He had just moved in with his girlfriend and suggested a win-win to get his belongings out of storage. Using my ex-husband's furniture and sleeping in his bed, was not my preference. Accepting his offer allowed us to heal our relationship further. Giving was easier for me than receiving. I was learning that love is not always a one-way street. You have to be open to receive love as well.

In September 2011, I received urgent guidance to move to Boulder, Colorado. I had vowed to never live in another place with cold and snow. I was born in Toronto the original Great White North. So much for personal vows! Originally, I considered renting a moving truck and driving across half the country with Rich's belongings. My guides showed me the error in this thinking when they asked me, "Do you feel it is beneficial to drag your ex-husband's belongings across the country?"

The irony of me dragging his belongings across the country for his eventual use did not escape me. The expense was not worth it. I asked Rich's permission to sell everything and he said, "Go for it!" Being a psychic and a medium, I have learned to trust the information I receive from Spirit. You never know how that information will show up. Sometimes, it comes through nature, animals, birds or an interaction with some wild creature. A snail crawling up the inside of my bedroom wall on September 19th told me I was not moving fast enough. There was some urgency to this move. I had even considered staying in Georgia until Ariel had finished the fall semester. The snail was my answer. I was not moving fast enough for God.

Adam and David Gates, Jennifer and Ariel 2003

Miracles happen when God wants you to be somewhere in a hurry. We had a huge yard sale. In spite of what others' opinions were, all earthly
limitations were removed. Our landlord gave us permission to display all my landscaping equipment on his front lawn and in his garage. There was a considerable amount to sell. I had been landscaping in Atlanta, Georgia for 11 years and had a lot of large equipment. My truck, trailer and all equipment was sold in 3 days. We were armed with enough cash for the trip, and first and last month's rent in Colorado.

We rolled up and packed our clothes in the trunk of my Honda. We shipped very few items and were on the road to Boulder within 3 weeks of receiving the guidance BOULDER! BOULDER! BOULDER! I have learned to trust this guidance, or the ramifications can be powerful. As with the message about "Get rid of your stuff or We will do it for you!" I learned when The Divine wants you out of somewhere quickly, anything can happen. My concern about telling my ex was even unfounded. My guides said it would be okay. The day I called to tell Rich we were moving to Boulder, he announced his simultaneous move to Williston, North Dakota to work in the oil fields.

I grew tremendously while in Boulder. Meditating every day. My dear friend Bill Laster downloaded a meditation from The Divine and told me I needed to share it with others. I began sharing The Divine Presence Process Meditation assisting others to connect deeply with their Divine. My consciousness expanded and I began receiving Cosmic Consciousness. Like a constant conversation with The Divine, The Ascended Masters, and the Angels. Whenever I asked a question, the answer was right there for me. Animals, domestic and wild began to flock towards me. While walking on the mountain trails, dogs would run up to me excitedly, smiling and tell me their age, and messages for their owners.

Ruby who smiles and cries whenever she sees me.

In the middle of July, one little pug told me she wished her owner would leave her at home and just bring the big dog to the reservoir. It was just too hot for her. Another Golden Labrador Retriever told me she 13 and was leaving the planet in 3 months. Dogs have no fear of death and take it as a matter of course. They know when they are going to die. My belief is that animals are naturally enlightened. They already know and practice Divine Love and acceptance.
Top of Flagstaff Mountain January 2012 where I talk to God

One day after meditating for two hours I felt the strong urge to take a nap. It was not my habit to do so, but I could not keep my eyes opened. As I lay in my bed on my side, I felt my body de-materialize. It felt that my body turned into millions of dots or particles, like in Star Trek when Captain Kirk said, "Beam me up Scotty!" What I did not know was that I materialized over a thousand miles away in physical form. My son David called to tell me that I showed up at a swimming pool in Atlanta, Georgia where he was working.

David said he saw me standing there watching him. Not like a ghost but in person! The Divine Presence Process meditation was something I was doing with clients remotely and my dear friend, Bill Laseter. We meditated remotely dozens of times. We connected by text and then invoked The Presence of The Divine and each other. It was a powerful and life changing meditation.

Strong Feeling of For-Boding

I felt that the job in Williston would kill Rich. I had a stroforebodinging about this work for Rich. He told me he had checked with a healer in Marietta, Georgia and he said it would not be dangerous for him.

Our move to Boulder, Colorado allowed Rich to see Ariel almost a full week each month. He drove 12 hours to spend his days off with his daughter. Sometimes, Ariel would be off with her friends and I would accompany Rich to breakfast or take hims sight-seeing.  Our relationship had grown and we were on friendly terms. He had begun paying child support for the first time in 8 years. He took us to Costco each time he came to town and filled up our freezer and pantry.

I continued to do healing and offered several workshops in Boulder, Atlanta and Toronto. My radio show on Voice America, Into The Mystic, was doing well. I thought the main purpose of our move to Colorado was so that my business would flourish with the large population of healers and interest in Metaphysics in the Boulder area. What I came to realize is that the real reason for being in Boulder was so that Rich and Ariel would have quality time together. Had we stayed in Georgia, the trip was too far for Rich to make monthly, and their time cut short.

Ariel's 16th birthday was in May. Even Ariel's misgivings about a new school and making friends were unfounded. She settled in with a great group of conscious teens.

Death Prediction

While Rich was in town for Ariel's birthday celebration he also visited a dentist. By this time, Rich had begun to trust my abilities. It had been 13 years since he went to a dentist. His family had a very negative imprint about dentists. He finally had the money to do something about his dental issues. He asked me if the abscess in his gum had healed up. Being extremely sensitive to energy, I checked and found it had. I told Rich this, with the caveat that the infection had moved into his heart and had damaged it. I told him that this infection coupled with the vigorous work he was doing in North Dakota could kill him.

I was very serious when I told him he needed to get a different antibiotic, as the one that his dentist has prescribed was too broad spectrum. He immediately called his dentist and asked for a more specific anti-biotic. He was told what he had was good enough. July 5th, I received a call that Rich had died in his sleep in North Dakota. He was found in his very familiar meditation position with his arms crossed across his chest and a smile on his lips.
Although Rich and I had been divorced for nearly 8 years, news of the accuracy of my death prediction shocked me. I hoped that he would not die. I was saddened not only for Ariel, but my two older sons who had close relationships with Rich. He had run the Peachtree Road Race for 26 years consecutively. Strange he transitioned the first time he missed it.

Mediumship Skills Tested

Maria Rodriguez and Jennifer at El Nuevo Mexicano in Chicago July 5, 2012

I received the phone call with my friend Maria Rodriquez in Chicago. Maria and I met in Bali two years earlier. I stopped to visit with Maria on my way to Toronto for my mother's 90th birthday. Holding the cell phone in my hand, I crumpled to the sidewalk outside Maria's restaurant El Nuevo Mexicano. Rich's manager told me how he was found after he did not show up for his shift.

"Eat dessert first, Life is uncertain" -Anonymous

We caught a taxi back to Maria's townhome in Lincoln Park. While making phone calls to friends and family members in Maria's kitchen, Rich came to me in Spirit form. He stood behind me and to the right. All my information from The Divine comes to me on my right side. Rich told me, "A door opened, and I simply walked through it. No pain, no heart attack, although people would think there was. It was easy." He communicated he was fine and happy. He had much unrest in his life and had not been happy since our divorce. We fought over custody of Ariel in the past but had healed our relationship, becoming friends the past year. We spent many hours visiting and sight-seeing in Estes Park and Eldorado Springs. We also enjoyed many meals at my favorite breakfast place in Boulder. The Walnut Cafe, had become Ariel's and my favorite place for pie and breakfast. While Ariel was with friends or sleeping late he even shared my favorite crazy habit. We ordered pie first while waiting for our breakfast to arrive.

The autopsy report confirmed what he said. No heart attack, but heart disease. He came to me several more times, once on the top of Flagstaff Mountain after our ceremony and honoring of him on his birthday. He quipped, "Good-bye Jennifer!" When I said good-bye at the end of our ceremony. He teased me by intoning ridicule in my name. He very rarely called me by name, but when he did he always ridiculed me. In the after life he was no different. He also imparted that he would not longer stand in the way of me finding a true partner as he had in the past. I had an incredible feeling of The Divine as he left and a knowing that I was now truly fee of him.
In the months following Rich's death, I could feel his regret. He regretted giving me such a hard time. He regretted being such a controlling husband and father. He regretted that Ariel had such hatred for him for what he did to me. I was grateful that I had the heads up from my guides September 2011, to suggest that Ariel do some forgiveness work and then forgive her Dad and apologize to him (even though it felt it should be the other way around).

I am very grateful for this advance knowledge from my guides. Without this work on Ariel's part and forgiving her father before his physical passing, she would have been wracked with guilt. As it was, she felt extreme sadness. The grief would come back to haunt her when she thought she was through.
