If money is scarce you most likely have blocks to manifesting. There are a few different ways that we create these blocks one is spending too much, feeling guilt or regret afterward which can cause blocks to the flow of abundance and wealth.

Where do these blocks come from? We create blocks within our cellular memory from fear of abandonment, rejection and worry about money. There are other ways that absolutely slam the door of abundance that we don't normally recognize.

Fear of any kind causes us to disassociate, become ungrounded and not present. When we are afraid our security is threatened and our root chakra becomes unbalanced and closes. The root chakra is what governs our security and survival, how we are in our world and how powerfully we show up. If we are concerned about our survival and ability to thrive we feel small and our field contracts. Fear alone is enough to block us from being able to create and show up powerfully in our world. There are other issues that can create severe challenges for our ability to create and manifest.

When our hearts are broken we might feel lost, broken and ungrounded. If we are criticized regularly, have trauma in our past or were emotionally wounded manifesting can be a challenge.

We tend to feel small or as though we are not enough when our hearts have been broken. We might even wonder, "What's wrong with me?" Questioning our personal power makes us feel small and even weak. There is a powerful connection between a closed heart and our ability to manifest. Manifestation can only happen when we are fully present in our body, grounded in the now, as the powerful creator vibrating in a state of love. Can you see the connection? Holy beating hearts Batman!

When our hearts are closed and broken we are in a state of lack. We lack love. We feel unloved. When we feel unloved we cannot possibly vibrate in a state of love. Have you ever noticed when you first begin to fall in love that everything goes well? Like magic pieces of a puzzle we find the perfect new job, we get a deal on a new car, people are attracted to us because we are vibrating in a state of love. Everything comes up roses when we are in love. The opposite is true when our hearts are stomped on, we are rejected or dumped. We have to heal our broken hearts or we can't manifest. We have to heal the abandonment and limiting beliefs from childhood, which is what I help you do in my energy sessions!
What we focus on is what we get. What we speak about is what shows up in our lives. Speaking about lack creates more lack. When we make statements like, "I can't make it on my salary. I can't pay my bills." The universe sends us circumstances that prove us right. It doesn't seem fair, that lack creates more lack. We have to feel wealthy and abundant to receive more. We also need to be very careful about what we speak out loud and silently to ourselves. We need to remember that every thought is a prayer and all prayers are heard.

1. Breathe deeply. Breathing allows us to connect, ground ourselves in our bodies and be in the present moment. We must be in the present to manifest. Focusing on the past or future precludes us from manifesting easily.
2. Focus on what we want with crystal clarity.
3. Focus on one thing at a time.
4. Know without a doubt that we are powerful creators and manifest what we focus on and speak about.
5. Be grateful for what we have now.
6. Release our manifestation out into the universe.
7. Know it is already in your energy field.
8. Say Thank you!

I have dreams, big dreams! Yesterday my six-year dream was realized.

When my daughter, Ariel, and I moved to California in October 2012, we drove all over exploring, visiting new places including Malibu, San Diego, Santa Barbara, and Ojai. We
celebrated my birthday in Ojai. Sitting outside enjoying a delicious dinner in late October, I said, "I could live here!" Ariel responded, "Yes, I can see you living here too!"

Ojai is beautiful. Called the "Valley of the Moon," by the Chumash Indians who were the early inhabitants. The Ojai area became a part of the Rancho Ojai Mexican land grant made to Fernando Tico in 1837 where he established a cattle ranch.
Ojai is the home to celebrities like Ted Danson, Mary Steenburgen, and Reece Witherspoon. Ojai has been featured in nearly 100 movies including "Twins. " But these are not the reasons I was drawn to Ojai. It is the beauty of the valley, the natural energy vortex, the large ranches on beautiful rolling hills and open space. Ojai has spectacular beauty and a huge spiritual community. Byron Kayte and her husband live in Ojai where she has her center for The Work.


Ojai has a strong community feel with several festivals a year, like the lavender festival and Ojai Day in October. I could see myself sitting outside under a tree at a coffee shop writing a book, or talking to a friend. I knew also that I could easily do live events in Ojai and evening workshops. I had a dream to one day be able to afford to live there. The key here is that I followed the energy. My time at the ranch was coming to a close, it was only supposed to be temporary and I had lived here for 15 months. My guides had made it very clear it was time to move.

Some interesting things had been happening over the course of the last few months. My guides have been talking to me about using what I have, not buying more food and how much space I used in my bed. I thought the last one was a bit strange but there was quite the conversation about me sleeping only on half of my Queen-sized bed. I never spread out and sleep only on the right side of the bed. Curious I thought, I stowed that one away. I was urged to throw away old makeup and organize things into several acrylic containers. When I  bought the containers, I was guided to several smaller individual containers rather than one big receptacle. Want to know how I did it? [Read the steps here ...... ]

How To Increase Your Happiness Quotient Fast

Happiness can be elusive. There was a time when I found it very difficult to feel an ounce of happiness because my focus was always on my problems. 

Over time, I realized that my thoughts created the illusion I was living in that felt very real. Today, my life is vastly different due to my focus. It isn't that problems don't arise, I just look at those challenges very differently. One of the things I do to charge me up is to go to my happy place as often as I can.

Growing up in Toronto where summer was only about three months long, and far from the ocean I rarely got an opportunity to walk on a beach unless I bought a plane ticket and flew to an island somewhere. I have always loved to travel and have adventures. What I discovered about myself is that I need to move my body often and visit new places regularly. I filmed this short video yesterday I promise you it will give you a little joy and help you have a better day!

Even though I live 92 miles from the closest beach, distance doesn't stop me from getting there often. I usually visit the beach at least once a month no matter the time of year. In the summer months, I try to get to the beach once a week. I feel the investment in time and money *(gas), wear and tear on my vehicle is worth the inspiration and joy I receive from being on the beach. Yesterday I had a blast all by myself with my little dog Yoda walking three miles or more and swimming in the surf.
