Can You Have An Orgasm For Your Life?

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Life is what we make it. Why not make it hot, passionate and lively? Although I am not having sex daily, I surely live from my heart, from a place of happiness. I used to be non-orgasmic into my 50's. I knew I did not want to die non-orgasmic and I wanted to live fully. Molestation in childhood can cause sexual dysfunction. Sex in a relationship is important to stay connected, have deep meaningful communications. Sex is the glue that holds us together. Intimacy opens the door to a deeper relationship, setting our relationship apart from those that we have with other people. When a crisis happens when we have deep intimacy, we will be better able to withstand these difficult times.

Women need to understand themselves better, but men also need to better understand us.

Having a closer relationship with yourself, you are better able to communicate your desires with your partner. We mirror each other in relationships. Orgasm For Life was written to help you bridge the chasm between you so that you will have happier lives. We are all responsible for our own happiness, we are also responsible for our own orgasm. When we are responsible for ourselves, we raise our relationship to a higher level.

Rather than blame our partner, for NOT being orgasmic, why not better understand what feels good for you? When you have a better understanding of yourself, you can then communicate to your partner what you need.

If you are not having orgasms every time you have sex, have you considered what is going on? Do you feel broken, damaged or as if something is wrong with you? If you feel this way, you are no alone. Over 40% of women have some form of sexual dysfunction. Over 80% of women are faking orgasms, because they feel it takes TOO LONG, to get there.

I have interviewed hundreds of men and women. These interviews helped me to find the truth in relationships. I found what it is that is missing. Loving yourself and your genitals opens you to having a loving relationship with your partner. The more accepting you are of yourself, the more accepting your partner will be of you.

Transformation For Your Life

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Interested in hearing who Jennifer is on the air? Join her this Friday at 1:00 PM EST and 10:00 AM PST as Hollis Chapman, author of the book Pursue Your Passion interviews Jennifer about her forthcoming book: Orgasm For Life.

This is Jennifer's second time on Hollis' show. Our last time was synergistic, laugh filled and very entertaining. Find out what makes Jennifer tick, and more about her book.

From caterpillar to beautiful butterfly, from infant to healthy adult, we all transform in many ways during our lifetime. When we truly transform is when we recognize our inner power, that we create with our thoughts and we accept ourselves completely. When we recognize we are not just a human with a mind but that we are mind-body-spirit and connected to all that is in the universe we also begin to accept others as part of us as well.

Transformation can be subtle, as we begin to watch our thoughts, monitoring our ability to turn negative in an instant. When we are able to transmute negativity into a positive thought with a mantra, or deep breathing our world becomes a more positive place for us. When we focus on what we have, rather than what we don't have we begin to expand into greater possibilities. We see how we impact our own world, relationships and each other's hearts.

Our relationships cause us to have tremendous growth, if we are awake enough to take responsibility for what is ours, rather than being a victim. We stop blaming our partners for what they did to us, seeing rather that we did it to ourselves on some level. All our relationships become healing opportunities for tremendous growth and transformation.

As we step into our power, letting go of fears, control and manipulation of others we grow in confidence and self acceptance. The more we begin to loving accept ourselves, warts and all we are more able to love and accept others as they are. This self acceptance grows when we let go of the baseball bat and magnifying glass. We recognize we are not perfect, we have the power to choose for ourselves. Sometimes we choose situations that we learn were not in our highest and best interest. Through self forgiveness, we lovingly acknowledge our need to pay attention to the positive and love ourselves through it all. Our relationships may end, our heart's may break, through it all we grow and know better what we need for ourselves.

Onward and upward, through loving acceptance of ourselves we gently nudge ourselves towards the light, the better choices and lasting happiness. The more we lovingly accept ourselves with all our quirkiness, weirdness and individuality we open our hearts to accept those whom we have had such a difficult time with in the past. They were merely a mirror into our own issues. What we see in others, we also have an attribute within ourselves.

Our sexuality becomes a thing of beauty as we grow in acceptance. Our bodies may not be perfect, but we begin to feel beautiful. We radiate beauty from within, which makes us look more beautiful, younger and vibrant. Our expressions of love broaden, become warmer, more open as we let go of fear. When we let go of fear, we build trust in ourselves. In our ability to choose wisely for ourselves and our love-making takes on a different intensity. When we stop monitoring ourselves, wondering how we look in the middle of passion, our pleasure deepens, our bodies unfurl. Orgasms become stronger, more blissful and expansive. We may even experience laughter through ecstasy - the ultimate expression of love - is JOY!

Positive Body Image Contributes To Better Sex

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Are you naked healthy? Do you feel good clothed or naked? Or do you quickly undress and slip under the covers and hope no one notices?

We may long to have the perfect body. Looking around, there are not many that have a perfect model's body. It is important to feel beautiful just to be you. It is possible. You don't have to be a bathing suit model like Adam Gates, above. (This is my son in the photo.) Great genes? Maybe. He works very hard to maintain his body. He is a fitness coach AND a model. It is his profession.

The truth is that we can feel good about our own body by being accepting. It does not take a perfect body to feel sexy and attractive. The happier you are being you, the happier you will be with your body. The more comfortable you are with your body, the better you will feel getting naked.

Being naked exposes not only your body, but your confidence or lack of. When you feel good about yourself, it does not matter that your breasts may be resting on your abdomen, or that your belly is round rather than flat. Looking at yourself naked, do you see beauty or do you see fat and ugly? Changing your perspective and self talk will change the way you feel without changing who you are.

Standing in front of the mirror telling yourself that you love you can feel a little funny. Put your hands on your butt and tell yourself, "I love my butt!" Put your hands on your belly and tell yourself, "I love my belly!" Standing naked in front of the mirror look at yourself and mean it when you say, " I love all of me!" The more love you give to yourself, the more accepting you will be.

As we get older, age can shift body parts. Many of us don't look quite like we did when we were in high school. Yet, how we view ourselves is more important. Rather than focusing on your belly being fat, why not accept yourself as you are and say, "I love my body." The more loving and accepting of yourself, as you are - the better. The more comfortable you are with your body, the more you will enjoy sex when it happens. If you are busy focusing on how you look naked, you won't be able to let go and enjoy the moment. For women, that can mean the difference between having an orgasm or not.

Remember the key ingredient to great sex is being able to surrender to the moment and focus on the pleasure. You won't be able to when you are thinking about how heavy you have gotten. Some women have a poor body image but have gorgeous bodies. It is a matter of perspective.

When we use negative self-talk (telling ourselves we are fat, or look awful) is not supportive. We can become depressed and not want to walk or go to the gym. Instead love yourself enough to want to get your body moving. Beating ourselves up for the cookies, chocolate and ice cream we ate over the winter is not going to help us feel better. Instead use the opposite tactic. Affirm that you love your body. You love your body so much that you will take care of it like you would a little baby. You wouldn't give an infant Oreo cookies and ice cream daily, would you? Of course not! Cut back on one of your indulgences a little each day. Allow yourself a cheat day once a week to have something you love.

Eating healthy and regular exercise is important. Taking care of our health can keep us young, vibrant and sexually active longer. If we become overweight, our heart may labor and we may have high blood pressure. Blood pressure medicine can impede love-making by getting in the way of an erection.

Limiting sweets and eating more fruit, vegetables and drinking more water can help us become healthier. The immediate issue though is how we feel about our bodies.

Here are a few suggestions to assist you to feel better about your body right now:

  1. Stop telling yourself that you are heavy, fat or overweight.
  2. Begin telling yourself how beautiful you are - daily.
  3. Look at yourself in the mirror each day naked, and say, "I LOVE MY BODY!"
  4. If you are wanting to lose weight; instead of focusing on the negative, tell yourself that you are getting thinner and thinner every day! You mind will move into action and make it so. (This is a hypnotherapy tactic to access your unconscious mind).
  5. Every night before you go to sleep tell yourself: "I love myself just the way I am!" Repeat this at least three times before sleep.

Remember that you can't let go and enjoy sex to the fullest when you are focusing on how heavy you think you are. We need to get out of our heads and into our bodies. Instead, when you are sprawled across your lover's bed affirm to yourself: "I am a beautiful woman." or for men, "I am a gorgeous hunk of a man!" You will be surprised how this consciousness permeates the room. Don't be surprised if you are told, "Wow you are so beautiful!"
