5 Ways To Keep That Youthful Glow By Aging Gracefully

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Aging gracefully is more than a spiritual experience, it is a way of life. If you want to turn back the hands of time, these five suggestions will help you remove the ravages of time not only from your face, body, and health but you will feel more vibrant, happy, youthful and alive!

Men before you leave this page thinking this isn't for you, think again. Men need to take care of themselves inside and out too. Men more than women are notorious for not taking care of themselves. Graceful aging is for everyone, no matter how old you are.

This October, I will turn 62. That's right, in less than two months I will celebrate and I mean celebrate my sixty-second birthday. I don't feel old; I feel eighteen inside. When other people tell me they are old, I tell them they can't possibly be because they are younger than me, and I am not OLD!

These photos were just taken, by Timothi Jane Graham in Pasadena California, August 21st, 2016.
None are airbrushed, or altered in any way. Nor have I had facial surgery, lipo, botox or any other such treatment.

No matter how old you are right now, aging is inevitable. How you live your life contributes to the way you look in your Golden Years.

Why should you care? Looking and feeling youthful, happy and vibrant is cause for celebration. Life is so much easier when you are happy, and feeling good. 40% of how you feel is up to you and what you do. When you take care of your soul, you begin to turn back the years. Your face softens, you radiate love from the core of your being.

I live alone, in the hot, dry desert of California. I have experienced lots of challenges and strife. I have had trauma, suffering and pain
both physical and emotional. Those issues no longer define me. I have overcome the past.

I am outside every single day, walking, dancing and playing in the desert sun. I go to the beach regularly, and I don't take drugs, medicines or any hormones to soften the ravages of time. It is what I do for my soul that keeps me young, ageless and timeless.

For years, I was on such a tight budget I couldn't afford expensive face creams or products to keep my face in tip top shape. Following are my recommendations for looking and staying youthful, beautiful and radiant well beyond your seventies and eighties whether you are alone, married or polyamorous and no matter your budget. Taking care of your body temple is a sacred act and daily practice.

Happiness more than anything is what has caused me to look younger now than I did five years ago. Working with me will help you get to happy!

1. Meditate daily. Even ten minutes to start is enough to get you going. Turn off your cell phone, music and telephone. Turn inward by sitting in silence focusing on the center of your chest, your heart chakra. Smile like Mona Lisa to your heart while you meditate. A smile to yourself shifts you. Meditation can help you remember things you have forgotten, it connects you with Source energy and puts you in a state of flow. Meditation will improve your ability to stay young because it reduces stress and softens you. Link to Divine Presence Process Meditation.

2. Do mantras daily. Mantras shift the brain to congruency. When brain waves are congruent we feel calm; stress is released, our body can heal itself. I had a tumor on the side of my thigh disappear in less than six weeks. Our body can heal itself when we give it what it needs. Our body and mind need stillness and quiet daily.

We create new neuro pathways with positive statements that we repeat silently in the background of our mind. Peeling carrots, cooking, driving, showering, walking, riding your bike, are all times when you can use a mantra silently without anyone knowing. Mantras can also be sung to music if you wish. An Indian Guru told me that mantras done silently are much more powerful than those out loud. When I began doing mantras silently, my mental chatter stopped completely. The craziness went away. A calm overcame my mind. Can you imagine a quiet mind?

3. Treat your body temple as your church. Would you defame, critique or destroy a church? Of course not. Constant self-criticism causes disease. Set healthy boundaries and respect yourself. Take care to get enough sleep, good food and nurture your soul daily. Drink plenty of water, avoid those substances that you know don't serve your highest good. Let food be thy medicine.

4. Your home is your sanctuary, keep it clean, orderly and free of arguments. Arguing in your home causes negativity to stick to soft furnishings. You lay your head on a pillow after an argument with your spouse, and you are sleeping on a pile of negativity. If you have disagreements, do your best to do your discussing outside of your home and especially your bedroom.

5. Know that The Universe and God always have your back. You are always supported by the Universe. Everything you need is always given to you when you trust.

Worry is a useless emotion, one I know quite well. Worry causes stress and ages you. Trust and faith will help you overcome worry. Remind yourself of this fact by repeating the following statement(s) upon rising and right before sleep. Meditating helps you stay connected and reminded of your Divine nature. I have included my video for you to help you get started. All it takes is seventeen minutes each day to feel loved and open to receive love. If you have difficulty with any of these, contact me for a private session to get connected and clear.

The Universe always brings me what I need exactly when I need it!

The Universe is always and in every way orchestrating my life for me.

The Universe always supports me.

Once we connect to our personal Divinity, we are never alone.

What Do I Need To Do To Receive God's Helping Hand?

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Hand of God Nebula NASA photo

Most of us call upon the name of our God  asking for help during our times of despair or trouble. No matter what you call this higher power, Source Energy, The Universe, The Divine, Divine Mind, Creator, Allah, Yehovah,  Yaweh, Jesus The Christ, Elohim, or El for short they all lead to the same place.

God is everywhere. There is nowhere that God isn't. A spark of God is in each of us, in each blade of grass, drop in the ocean, in each glass of water, or animal - yes even your pets! Yes, God is never absent.

When we struggle and ask for help, we may feel our prayers aren't answered. We might even feel God doesn't hear our pleading. The truth is that God hears every prayer, in fact, every thought we think!

Can You imagine hearing each thought of every individual person on the planet? If each person thinks an average of 70,000 thoughts a day just think of the number of thoughts that 7.4 billion people think.

There is much disagreement about the number of thoughts we think. Taking into account that it is nearly impossible to count the number of unconscious thoughts we have no matter the number 40,000, 50,000 or 70,000 - that's a lot of thoughts!

Most of our thoughts are about unimportant aspects of our lives, like social interactions.

This clip from Bruce Almighty played by Jim Carrey expresses it best. Bruce complains about God too often so God decides to teach Bruce a lesson and gives him His job.  When everyone's prayers fill his brain, he attempts to create filing cabinets, then post-it notes to organize everyone's prayers. When post-it notes became too much to handle, he decides to turn to the Internet.

God is always available to help us. We receive God's Grace when we are open to receive it. Grace is the power that comes to us through faith. God's power is always available through the Universe to us to help us do whatever we need to do. It doesn't matter if you call it God's power, The Divine Mind, Or Universal Consciousness. Remember God doesn't judge - humans do.

How We Prevent God From Helping

There are many ways we unwittingly prevent God from helping us. Listed below are some of the ways we do this with our thoughts without realizing what we are doing.

We think or say.....

  1. "I've got this!"
  2. "I can't do this." When we give up we don't get help.
  3. There is no way I can do this.
  4. I can't succeed.
  5. There is no hope.
  6. This is the end.
  7. There is nothing I can do.
  8. No one will ever help me.
  9. I will never have help (love, money, wealth, happiness, success).
  10. There is no way this will work.
The Way Things Work

From this list above, do you see that these are statements and are not questions? Instead of asking, we are making statements. If God is and The Universe is always and in every way orchestrating our life for us, God is responding by proving us correct! You say you can't succeed? Then you can't succeed. If you say there is no hope, then there isn't hope. If you say there is no way this will work, you are proven correct, it won't work.

All of these ten listed examples are closed-ended statements. It took me many years to understand that the words, "Ask and it is given," mean just that. We need to ASK QUESTIONS!

When we make a statement God sends us proof that what we are saying is true. For example, if we say "no one will ever help me." No one ever does. No one shows up because we have made the statement, and God proves us correct! I know a woman who is a successful life coach. She has oodles of education. However, she continues to affirm:

I am always alone.
No one ever helps me.
I will always be alone.
I am so alone.

Guess what happens to her? She might date, but the dates never stay around because she affirms she is always ALONE!

God has a plan. In this plan, there are rules we must follow. When we don't follow the rules we repeat a grade. We might repeat the same relationship lesson over and over until we finally go, "OH I GET IT! THIS WAS ABOUT ME NOT THEM!"

Or we might struggle with finances or success because we haven't learned to simplify or be a good steward of our money.

God isn't punishing. God is like a good parent, teaching. Life is all about learning. We are in a classroom every day of our life.

When we don't learn our lessons God leaves us there until we get it. Often what happens is that our struggles become more intense, we attract more difficulties or more challenging relationships.

When our difficulties increase it is because we didn't learn what our lesson was. After a divorce, most people resent their partners rather than thank them for the gifts that they gave us. The same is true with our parents.

Because we had difficulties in childhood we forget that our parents did exactly what they were supposed to do so that we had the perfect experience to spur us toward growth.

We think God doesn't hear us, but the truth is we aren't hearing or understanding God.

How To Use Prayer To Improve Your Life

Here are the rules:

  • You are already loved and accepted.
  • You were created in God's image.
  • There is a spark of God within you.
  • The spark needs to be nurtured so that it grows stronger each day.
  • Be still and know. (Sit in silence every day)
  • Love yourself.
  • Love everyone else.
  • Forgive everyone including and especially yourself.
  • God and The Universe is always and in every way orchestrating our lives FOR US!
  • Difficulties are presented to us so that we learn and grow.
  • If we don't learn or grow we keep repeating the same experience with more intensity.
  • We are on earth to grow, have fun and experience joy!

  1. You deserve help. Yes - even you. You are not bothering God.
  2. You have to ask for help. The best way to ask is to ask questions. What? Yes. Read this blog post about how I manifested a miracle for my daughter.  Or maybe this post about co-creating miracles might help you. Or this one about miraculous moments. Or maybe this one on creating miracles for your life.
  3. God can't help you when you think you've got everything covered. When your EGO is huge you are not in your heart.
  4. When you are attempting to figure things out you are not trusting Guidance. You are far from faith when you are figuring things out because that happens in the mind.
  5. Sit in stillness and complete silence every day. How else can you hear God?
  6. Go within daily because all the answers already reside within you.
  7. You are meant to celebrate life. One of the ways I celebrate life is by dancing. Join me in a dance after the blog, will you? And do share this with your friends. Help it go viral. There are many people feeling suicidal and in need of help right now, send this around the globe to help them!

God answers when you ask. Like the Rolling Stones have said, we don't get what we want, we get what we need. If you haven't gotten what you have asked for, it is either you haven't learned your lesson, it isn't Divine Timing for it to be given to you, or you are getting what you need.

I Can't Stop The Feeling!

Feeling God within us, in every stone, we step on, and every blade of grass gives us the feeling of ecstasy and bliss. No one says it better than Justin Timberlake! If you want to feel God, get up and dance to this song and FEEL IT! C'mon get up and dance, feel God within you. When you feel the magic inside you - it is easy to be in the flow and get the help you need.

We gain wisdom as we heal and transform our pain into joy. It is possible; I have done it myself. I had tremendous pain and suffering as you did in my childhood. I felt like a victim for over thirty years. Today, I thrive on solitude and quiet. I am happy alone or with a crowd. I feel comfortable in my skin and trust my Guidance. If you are ready to overcome your pain, suffering, and struggle, why don't you contact me now?

Jennifer is working on her third self-help book:

Happy Here, Happy Anywhere
The Step-By-Step Guide To Overcoming Anxiety, Depression and Unhappiness Without A Prescription!

If not now, when? Isn't it time you were happy with you, your life and had the love you deserve? I help you find the love that is already present within you by uncovering and clearing off the sh** that is in the way.

The 3 Secrets To Self Mastery

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Can you Imagine a life without struggle? Imagine for a moment that you are in harmonious interaction with life. The word struggle no longer exists for you or your life. You flow effortlessly. Things happen easily and effortlessly for you. Events occur that may have presented challenges for you in the past, but you are able to navigate these challenges easily, knowing you are supported by The Divine and The Universe.

You have an internal knowing that moves you beyond doubt into steadfast and unshakable faith. You know you are supported. The evidence of this support is all around you, in everything you do. The bliss and serenity is evident inside of you. Stillness is what guides you. You are Guided and inspired daily, motivated by this invisible force within you. You are in alignment with your Divine purpose and the will of The Divine. You have become a Master. The most powerful degree of your life.

You no longer push or force things to happen. You allow others to have their own experience of life without trying to "help" or change them. You know that the path that you are on requires a letting go of resistance and force. Non-action is your path. The state of BEING is a state of non-resistance. Surrender is a state of allowing.

“The true path to mastering life is though non-action”

Whether you study or follow a tradition, spiritual path or religion a common thread flows through all ancient wisdom and philosophies.
Relaxing into life and "just being" is the path to mastering life through non-action. The Western World thrives on action. Most people are in a state of "DOING" fourteen hours a day. This state pushes your energy instead of flowing. DOING is similar to the salmon swimming upstream. The salmon pushes against the flow, forcing with their own energy to move forward in a direction that is counterintuitive to being in the State of FLOW. DOING is exhausting. When we are in a state of DOING we are often also attempting to get others to do our bidding, we may even try to CONTROL others.

There is ease and Grace which flows through life when you begin to ALLOW or JUST BE. Self-Mastery has a strong foundation that everything else flows from. Non-action (Self-Mastery) requires you to do three things. Once you shift these in your life, ease begins to flow rather than dis-ease. The three non-actions are: TRUST, APPRECIATION and to  JUST BE.

Trust

Allowing: Each person is having their own experience. Allow them their experience. Perhaps their actions or inaction does not match yours, but that's okay. You allow everyone to have their own experience rather than trying to make them behave a certain way. Others make choices that may impact you. You choose for yourself rather than for others. You no longer attempt to control others or your environment.

Surrender: Surrender is an act of relaxing into faith. You have faith that things will work out for the best, because they always do. You let go of the need to push, prod or make things happen, because you know life is happening automatically. Surrendering to a higher power allows light into a situation that appears without resolution in your mind. Allowing nature to take care of itself is surrender. There is always a higher wisdom at work. When we surrender we allow the natural order to take care of itself. Miracles happen when we surrender.

Flow: Being in the state of flow is like taking your hands off the steering wheel and allowing nature or a higher power to right itself. Flow offers no resistance to life and circumstance. Our minds create stories which create beliefs and absolutes which block the natural flow where ease and Grace occurs. When you offer no resistance things take care of themselves effortlessly and magically. This is where miracles occur.

Courage: It takes courage to take the first step out of your comfort zone. When your fears grip you, but you step into the void of unknowing, you trust a higher power to step in and take over, carrying you to the next invisible step across the cavern of unknowing. Your will merges with that of Divine will helping you cross in safety.

Positivity: Leaning in to the positive trusting that all will be taken care of, as it always is, brings light into an otherwise scary or challenging situation. Choosing to stay positive allows the infinite opportunities to flow through, bringing ease and flow. Negativity blocks us from forward movement. It is easy when we have little or no information to turn towards negative thoughts. These thoughts do not empower, they cause us to be small, fearful often hitting a wall.

Gratitude: There is no faster way to shift your mindset and heart than to find something small to be thankful for. Even if you feel you have nothing, you are alive. You might even have food, a roof over your head or people who love you. No matter how difficult things are for you right now, I guarantee if you sit for a moment and give thanks for what you do have, you will be surprised at how much you have. When you express gratitude your heart opens, you raise your energetic vibration to that of LOVE. When you are in a state of Gratitude and LOVE, more good will flow to you. Gratitude always nets you more to be grateful for!

Perspective: The way you view yourself and life is everying! A small shift in your mind-set to gratitude changes your perspective on everything else. You are expanding the light within you, opening to receive more, all of this shifts your energy field and perspective. You will begin to see things differently. You will begin to look up, rather than down where all you see is dirt, negative and sorrow. A slight shift in perspective allows miracles, magic and the impossible to occur.
Forgiveness: The act of forgiving does amazing things to your heart. It lightens the way you feel about yourself and everyone else. Your burdens become fewer and you begin to feel love for others where there was none. You see things from a different perspective - didn't I say perspective is everything.

Compassion: The ability to see things from another's perspective allows you to try on their shoes. You feel compassion for others and their plight. Compassion opens your heart even more.
Inner Peace: Letting go of past hurts and suffering leads you to appreciate your life and the beauty of it all. Forgiving others, being grateful for what you have all opens your heart to receive more. Stillness comes in where there was once mind chatter and chaos. Bliss, happiness and joy bubble up from out of nowhere. When you appreciate life you begin to live in a serene state of blissful peace and fulfillment.

BEING

Meditation: Sit in silence focusing only on your breath. There are many forms of meditation I hear all the time, "I can't meditate."  Meditation is simply sitting in silence, taking one step inside your heart and breathing. Meditation is not prayer. It is being with yourself, your Divine and the quiet. Meditation is stillness. Sitting still, breathing slowly and mindfully. Mindfulness is simply breathing and being mindful of what is happening. You can watch my meditation video on Divine Presence Process MeditationYou Tube here.

Presence: Giving presence or offering presence is being without the act of doing. The simplest act of breathing slowly and deeply will ground you in the present. You are not focused on the past, nor the future. You are in this moment now. Breathe slowly and deeply and you will come into the present moment. Now. Again. Now.

Realisation: Raising your awareness, being the witness and breathing allows you to be present. In this state the stories that used to fill your mind become less and less. Thoughts, beliefs and emotions have less power over you. The fewer illusions (stories) the more realisation that you have. Grounded in the present fully, in reality, rather than fiction or ego.

Clarity: The state of being present brings greater clarity and focus. When the mind chatter falls away, you no longer see through a haze of mental constructs and stories. You begin to see and experience truth.

Connectivity:  Since you are a multi-dimensional being, you are connected to all that is, including the Universal or Divine Mind. All the information of The Universe and The Divine is yours when you live in the present without the mind chatter. A pool of resources become available to you when you are connected. Your intuition, manfestation and intelligence takes on a brighter hue.  The limitless pool resides within you. Hence, everything you ever need is inside is true.

I Believe In Fairy Tales

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

I believe in love. I also believe that our dreams do come true. I recently watched the movie Grace of Monaco. I have watched this movie now three times. Why? General Charles De Gaulle called Princess Grace the American Aphrodite. We can all learn lessons about love, commitment and doing the difficult things to make a relationship work.

Princess Grace was beautiful, soft, loving, compassionate. She adored her husband, and he adored her. Her family came first. She always had her husband's back, even coming to his aid changing the events in history by holding a ball in honor of The Red Cross. She invited Charles De Gaulle, who was trying to overthrow Monaco. She did not fight; she did not yell. She did not argue. She spoke softly, with loving compassion and changed the course of history.

What Does This Story Have To Do With YOU?

We have the power to change the course of our lives. It takes intention, focus and love. If you don't love you, you will critique your loved one. If you don't trust you, you will not trust your loved one. Love has to come from you first. You are the one that needs to love you. When you love and accept yourself completely, you will be more loving, accepting, positive and compassionate with your partner. You will also be able to receive love. Many of us have been hurt. Wounded people have difficulty receiving love and push it away in many different ways.

Pushing Love Away

When we judge our partners, we push love away. If we critique our partners, we push love away. If we complain about our life or partners, we avoid love and happiness.

When your partner comes home, do you embrace him, give him a big hug and kiss? Or her? Or do you avoid physical contact at any cost? Touch is a loving part of a relationship. If you push physical contact away, you don't love you. It is not your partner's fault. Don't blame them for what they haven't done for you. Express your feelings compassionately. Speak about what is upsetting you without blame. You can't expect someone to read your mind if you don't tell them what is going on inside of you.

Your Thoughts Change The Course Of History

Fighting, arguing, blaming will not get you to happiness. Being miserable with your life, will not allow you to find love. Changing the way you think, shifting beliefs, and patterns are all work I do with my clients.

Adoring Husband

I know several women who are adored by their husbands, but their wives treat them as if they were yesterday's bread. In June, I attended a wedding and witnessed a beautiful wedding. I remarked to my date that I gave them two years before she would divorce him. Why? He adored her. She was not giving adoration back to him. He loved her, but she didn't love herself. She doubted, was jealous and insecure. Within less than six months, she is bored with her marriage and focuses on others when they are together. He was sitting with her focusing on her while she texted her friends.

The Truth

If you aren't happy with your life or yourself, no one can make you happy. If you love yourself, are authentic, compassionate and soft, you will find the love you seek. I can help you remove whatever is blocking you.

If you bash, berate, nag or complain about your partner, you will find love will disappear.

Fairy Tales

Love is possible, but it has to begin with you. A beautiful marriage or partnership is possible, but you have to give. You have to be compassionate, understanding, loyal, supportive and honest. If you dream about a beautiful wedding, but don't love yourself, you will be unhappy soon after the confetti is picked up and the flowers are wilted.

Love begins and ends with you. Loving yourself is the first step in attracting love to you. You become a magnet for love. Sex is a part of love. If you don't want to have sex with your partner, expect that he will want sex with someone else. Sex is a loving part of a partnership or marriage.

  1. Stop critiquing and judging yourself and others.
  2. Accept all parts of you, lovingly.
  3. You are already enough.
  4. Your thoughts create. Notice what you are thinking. Focus on the positive.
  5. Stop complaining. It doesn't bring you, love.
  6. Notice where your focus is. Do you love you? Are you compassionate with you and others?
  7. Are you grateful for what you have? Gratitude is the fastest way to open your heart. It raises your vibration. If you aren't happy with what you have, and grateful for it, you won't get anything better than what is in your life right now. Gratitude is the fuel for love. Be grateful starting right now for the small things: your health, your life, a paycheck, a job, food on the table, friends, the rain, the sunshine.
  8. The more loving and accepting you are with you, the better your life will be. You can't love another if you can't stand being alone with you.
E-mail me if you have questions or would like to book a discovery session. If you aren't prepared to do deep work or do homework or self-discovery, I am not the right person for you. The work I do is powerful, life-changing. I will be direct, compassionate with you, but you have to do the work to be happy, love yourself and your life.
