Happy Marriage Holy Sex

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Part of a marriage is the connection. When we stop having sex with our marriage partners, we stop touching one another in any way and the sweetness fades away.
Sara Troy of Self-Discovery Media interviews Jennifer Elizabeth Masters in an open and interesting conversation about making sex holy within a relationship.

Sex is the glue that holds us together. Sex is what breaks the ice after a fight and gets us to say we're sorry. Sex can be what allows us to begin talking again once we have made love. For men, sex is what brings them into a state of intimacy.

Do You Make Everyone Else's Happiness Your Responsibility?

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

I remember Christmas when my children were little. I was careful to buy equal priced gifts for each child. No matter how hard I tried, my oldest son always felt disappointed. Even when I spent more on him, he felt disappointed, as if I could never give him enough.

I felt my stomach sink each year as the presents were unwrapped and the bows and ribbons picked up and thrown away. I made my son's happiness my responsibility. I used to be so concerned about what others thought and how they felt about me.

When we put conditions on our happiness, we block our ability to be happy. Sometimes we are self-destructive and don't even know it, which leads to even more challenges in our lives.

When we make statements like the following:

  • I'll be happy when ______________(I'm in a relationship, am at the perfect weight, have the perfect job, have _____ money, move to a different location.
  • We'll be happy when we're married.
  • We'll be happy when we have a (or another) baby.
  • I'll be happy when all my family is together.
  • I'll be happy when I'm retired.
  • I'll be happy when I can have sex.
..... we block our happiness.

Happiness comes from you, not an outside circumstance. When we don't love ourselves completely, we place conditions on our happiness. We make other's happiness our responsibility. No amount of presents will fill someone up that is running on empty. Love has to come from within to fill us up and make us feel loved.

The Truth

No one can else make us happy. Happiness doesn't come from material things like a house, new car or clothes. Material things bring us fleeting rushes, but not permanent happiness. A relationship might bring excitement to you at first, but if you aren't happy with you first, it can bring you more pain.

Thinking that making others happy will bring you happiness is putting their happiness ahead of yours. Each person is responsible for being happy with themselves. Happiness comes from being happy with who we are as we are.

How Do We Get Past This?

I understand, I really do. For half of my life, I was miserable with low self-esteem, anxiety, depression and a slew of failed relationships. Because I didn't respect myself, others didn't respect me either. I attracted men who wouldn't value me because I didn't value myself. I didn't love me and lived in denial of that fact, so the men I loved cheated. I kept attracting men who were emotionally unavailable because I was also. It was far easier to point out the other person's flaws and faults than to see my own.

Since I grew up with criticism in my household, I was critical of myself and others. It wasn't until I was told how negative I was that I began to see how crippling my thoughts and words to myself were. It took an outsider to make me aware of how I was creating my world.

The Magic of Self Love

Our outer world is a magical mirror that reflects our innermost unconscious thoughts back to us. Until we begin to awaken, we don't notice how much damage we create to ourselves with the words and thoughts we think.

How I Work With You

There are several ways I can help you to move beyond anxiety, depression, and unhappiness. Energy work, healing your field and removing the patterns and blocks to love, or hypnotherapy sessions. In my coaching sessions, I use all of my tool boxes, of The Akashic Records, coaching, intuition, healing, energy and hypnotherapy. In two hypnotherapy sessions, I can help you permanently change the way you feel about yourself. Hypnotherapy is a powerful healing modality that reprograms the unconscious mind to think in positive instead of negative ways.

Beliefs

Our beliefs created from early childhood traumatic events govern our adult life unless we change them. Beliefs could be:

  • I am unlovable
  • I am unworthy
  • I am not valuable
  • I am not heard
  • I am not respected
  • I am not worth loving
  • No one will ever love me
  • People will reject me

Begin Today With A Mantra To Heal Your Mind

I am strong, powerful, harmonious, loving and happy!

I am lovable
I am worthy
I am loved
I am safe
I am secure

We can only make ourselves happy. Working on our inner self is the key to being happy with our outer world. I wish you the happiest of holidays whether you celebrate Kwanza, Christmas, Hannuka or Hajj, and so much love!

Work with Jennifer to find the love inside of you so that you can have the relationship of your dreams. Whether you are currently in a relationship or not, Jennifer will help you find the love wherever you are helping you shift your perspective to be happy and fulfilled.

3 Amazing Ways To Use Mercury Retrograde Energy To Find And Keep Love

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Mercury Retrograde energy can be very beneficial for many things. Once you know what the energy can do, using Mercury Retrograde energy can help you retrieve an old relationship so you can renew, re-work, rebuild, and repair. There are rules that you must know about dating during Mercury Retrogrades though and here they are:

  1. Mercury Retrograde energy is great for bringing people back around to us from the past.
  2. If you have unfinished business or still have strong feelings for someone you broke up with in the past, this energy can help you renew and rebuild from a different place.
  3. Do your best to NOT meet anyone new during a Mercury Retrograde as it won't last, no matter how wonderful it feels.

Fun Facts:
Mercury entered its shadow point December 1st
Mercury turns retrograde December 19, 2016
Mercury turns direct January 8th, 2017

Case Study:

A fellow healer came to me two years ago during a Mercury Retrograde while I was in Colorado for a reading. She had begun to date a man that seemed like her soul mate. In fact, she was absolutely, positively certain they would get married. He seemed perfect!

I explained to her that no matter how he appeared today, once Mercury turned direct she would notice things about him that she didn't see before.

As soon as the Mercury Retrograde ended, her wonderful man all of a sudden showed signs of philandering and seeing and being attentive to multiple women. The togetherness they experienced during the Mercury Retrograde abruptly ended leaving her shaking her head.

How could something shift so quickly in just three weeks? That is the energy of a Mercury Retrograde.

I am so careful about the way I use this energy. In fact, when my daughter was planning her move this month, we consulted an astrologer to plan the best date of her move. She had to move before the Mercury Retrograde began because if she moved after December 19th, she would end up feeling she moved to the wrong apartment, made a mistake about moving in with a room mate, or would find something wrong with the situation.

There are other things not to do during a Mercury Retrograde, watch for my article on Sunday.

15 Reasons Not To Walk Down The Aisle With Him

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Vera Wang Wedding Dress

Divorce statistics are staggering. According to The Huffington Post, thirty percent of women marry the wrong guy. I was one of them.

We dream of our perfect wedding day, walking down the aisle, to marry the man we will be happy with until the day we die. Yet for thirty percent of women, they know before they walk down the aisle that they are making a terrible mistake. Why do women tie the knot anyway?

Women continue to make plans and get married for the following reasons:

  • They feel marriage will magically fix any problem.
  • They feel their biological clock is ticking
  • Better this guy than no one.
  • They feel if it doesn't work, "I can always get a divorce."

Women are unsure what they feel is true. They focus on the future, thinking things will be different, when....They explain away the red flags. The wedding plans are already in motion and they don't want to be embarrassed by calling it off. The truth is that divorce has a higher cost than a wedding both financially and emotionally even before children are present. Here are my tried and true 15 reasons not to marry the guy:

1. You have caught him in lies repeatedly. Someone who lies habitually will continue to lie after marriage. Some liars are sociopaths and never change. Lying can be addictive and something that becomes a compulsion. A marriage built without trust is not a marriage of longevity. You can't build a happy marriage without trust. People rarely change. Hoping your relationship will be different after you marry is a fantasy. What you see is what you get. End it!

2. You are marrying his potential. Marrying a guy's potential is a mistake. We can hope a guy will reach the potential we see in him, but banking on it is a mistake. By thirty a predominant part of our personality is formed in stone. In Me Myself And Us The Science of Personality And The Art of Well-Being   by Brian R. Little, by the time we are thirty, we are pretty set in our ways. There is a very strong genetic component as well that contributes to who we are.

Thinking a guy will be different after marriage is delusional. Think of what you have now as the best of the best. Most people succumb to the humdrum of life and settle in, relax into the mundane of life and feel they are set now that they've got you.

3. He is terrible in bed. Selfishness in bed translates to someone who is not generous and only interested in themselves. A guy who isn't selfless in bed will continue to be so after marriage. A guy who isn't interested in pleasuring you till you orgasm before marriage is unlikely to transform after you walk down the aisle.

True story: Rachel and Wes had been dating for five years. They were engaged for one. When Rachel expressed that she wasn't getting to orgasm and that she needed more from him, Wes told her, "I'm good!" He wasn't interested in learning how to pleasure Rachel to the point of orgasm. He felt as long as he ejaculated that was enough. A guy who states he doesn't want to learn anything new, or change his skill set isn't marriage worthy. He is exhibiting a high level of selfishness and ego that won't change after marriage. END IT, SAVE THE YEARS OF MISERY.

She did! Rachel recognized that her pleasure was just as important as Wes's and it is! She ended their five year relationship because she realized Wes wouldn't change. He didn't value her enough to give her the pleasure he was getting.

4. He won't try what you suggest in bed. In spite of what some men think, women aren't just guys with vaginas. A woman's sexual needs are different than a guy's. It takes on average twenty to forty minutes for a woman to warm up to be able to orgasm. If your guy lasts two minutes and says, "I'm done," he isn't doing his job. Both parties need to receive pleasure to the point of orgasm (unless a man is holding his seed).

Are Men Getting The Most Pleasure In Bed?

5. He makes it only about himself. Narcissists can be alluring and even seductive. However, one of the most difficult relationships we can have is when partnered with a narcissist. Narcissists will not take responsibility for their actions because they believe they are never wrong. They will make you feel crazy because they manipulate to get what they want and will never apologize because they never feel they are wrong. DON'T DO IT, YOU WILL BE ENDLESSLY SORRY YOU DIDN'T END THIS NIGHTMARE BEFORE MARRIAGE.

6. His past is sketchy. If a guy won't speak about his past, consider this a huge red flag not to be ignored. A person's past often dictates their future. Morals are learned at home; if his father was a philanderer and he cheated on his ex he will probably cheat on you.

7. You had an affair with him when he was married previously. An ill-begotten relationship will end the way it began, with him cheating on you with another woman.

8. He has a different faith than you. If you believe in something and he doesn't you will have challenges throughout your relationship with issues other than faith.

9. He doesn't have a job and isn't looking. Marrying someone who isn't working or looking is a serious issue. Do you plan on doling out money and alimony after your marriage ends to continue supporting him? A man's character is evident in the way he lives his life. Choose a man who works and is responsible and self-supporting. Someone who is unemployed and irresponsible now will probably also be in the future.

10. He has anger issues that he can't control. Anger present before marriage will be present afterward. Marriage isn't the magic potion that eradicates a person's personality and issues. Anger present prior to marriage will only get worse.

I married a man who had anger issues. Each time, he promised he would be different. He punched holes in walls and sometimes in me. His father had anger issues, his brother committed murder. He was a spiritual man who tried everything to release the anger. He died an angry man.

Anger is a serious issue that doesn't go away. It takes years of committed work to heal and release anger, for others there is never any change.

11. He whines and complains. Whining is a sign of a closet homosexual or someone hiding their homosexuality. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against people choosing to play for their own team, just don't marry someone who isn't attracted to women, this will never change.

I married a man who hid his homosexuality because he was raised Baptist. He couldn't admit he was gay even to himself. After six months of marriage, he stopped having sex with me. Read my article Men Who Hide Their Homosexuality And Marry A Straight Woman.

12. He's unhappy with life. Marriage will not make someone happy that isn't. Your love won't make him any happier after you marry him. Don't do it!

I recently dated a man who was well-paid, drove a really nice car and lived in a beautiful home, but he was miserable. When I told him I was manifesting something wonderful he peed in my Cheerios. He was a naysayer who poo-pooed everything I said and did. Someone who is unhappy will make you unhappy as well.

Don't marry someone that isn't happy with himself and life. JEM

13. Your core values aren't in alignment. When our core values aren't in alignment we don't speak the same language. Marriage is difficult enough when two people are on the same page, singing the same tune. When we don't have the same core values we disagree about having and raising children, which church to go to and what our beliefs are. If you don't know what your core values are now, find out here.  5 Reasons You Need To Know Your Core Values

14. He has an addiction. Addictions are serious business. It can take a lifetime and longer for some people to decide they want to be clean. Addictions are dark with a deep-seated self-hatred. People who hate themselves are very difficult to have relationships with. The expression, "Once an Addict Always An Addict," came from the truth that addictions can last longer than a lifetime.

Why You Shouldn't Do Cartwheels To Keep Someone

I have heard countless women tell me, "He's not an alcoholic he only drinks beer!" I have a neighbor who only drinks beer, but drinks sixteen tall boys a night. It doesn't matter if his addiction is pot, acid, porn, masturbation, cocaine, heroin, beer, wine or hard alcohol.

An addiction is an addiction. It takes many years of dedication, courage, hard work, and stick-to-iveness to overcome any addiction. Once an addict is clean the anger and emotions are the next biggest challenge. A rejection of the self and lack of self-love is the core of any addiction. Your love can't cure him. Set him free and work on your issues of enabling instead.

15. You are fighting often before marriage. Thinking someone will be different and more to your liking after marriage is a fantasy. Where else are you in denial about the truth? Marriage doesn't make a relationship easier, it is often much more difficult after you tie the knot than before.

Marriage isn't a magic potion. Marriage is a certificate on paper that makes it legal for you to be together, that is all. In many instances as soon as the wedding is over couples recognize they have made a terrible mistake. When brides focus on the wedding, they forget what the marriage is beyond the one day of bliss. A wedding lasts one day, a marriage can be for years and a lifetime if you are really lucky and work diligently on your issues, growing together.

A marriage doesn't mean the work is over, in fact the hardest part is yet to come. Once you hit the two-year mark people settle into being more authentic. Often the masks come off an one or both are shocked to find they married someone they didn't know at all.

Sex More Than Money Increases Happiness, Especially When You're Having More Than The Joneses

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Sex leads to an overall sense of well-being. Better than money, sex leaves us feeling satisfied, loved and appreciated. Having more sex makes us happy. Thinking we are having more sex than our neighbors makes us even happier!

Great news for those who are married and having sex two or more times a month! A study performed by Dartmouth College in Warwick England of 16,000 participants has found that sex is better than money for increasing happiness.

More money doesn't lead to more sex. However, having more sex leads to more satisfaction and happiness than money does. The study found that increasing sex from once a month to once a week was the equivalent to having an increase in income of $50,000!

Thinking that you are having more sex than your neighbors makes you even happier! Though there is one caveat....

“The happiness linked with having more sex can rise or fall depending on how individuals believe they measure up to their peers.” According to a press release.

Tim Wadsworth and The University of Boulder Colorado surveyed 15,386 participants between 1983 and 2006. They found that those having sex two to three times a month were self-reporting 33 percent higher levels of happiness than those who had no sex the previous year. In comparison, those who reported sex once a month reported that they were 44 percent happier. Those who reported sex four or more times a month were 55 percent more likely to report happiness.

However, if the respondents were having sex two to three times a month and felt that their neighbors were having sex once a week (four times a month or more) they were 14 percent less likely to report happiness.

It is best not to compare yourself to others. It just makes us feel bad. The study Sex and Our Pursuit of Happiness: How Other People's Sex Lives Are Related To Our Well-Being

The happiest people get the most sex and are married. They report 33 percent more sex than singles. Economists report that having more sex on a regular basis for married couples is like having an additional $100,000 a year in income! On top of sex making you happy, it also keeps you young and youthful looking.

A divorce is like having a drop in income of $66,000. Sadly women are still the ones divorcing their men, maybe if you hired me, I could help you avoid that divorce. It is what I do - help you recognize what your have and how to communicate without blame.

Men can also benefit from semen retention for youthing as well as lasting longer.

From those men who have reported to me twenty or more years without sex, I would agree. People are happier when they are loved through sex. Sex is healing.

Sex Facts:

  1. Married people have more frequent sex than those who are single.
  2. The better educated you are the happier you tend to be with your sex life and the fewer sexual partners you have.
  3. The myth that women lose interest in sex after marriage has been debunked in a study by iVillage.
  4. A healthy sex life is important to 75 percent of wives.
  5. 43.7 women were bored with the frequency of their sex lives.
  6. 57.9 were willing to experiment in the bedroom.
  7. Married people have sex an average of 66 times a year - just over once a week. (But varies by age)
  8. Married couples 18 - 29 get it on regularly - 109 times a year.
  9. Couples in their 60's report sex 32 times a year.

What Fuel Are You Using To Fan The Flames Of Your Love?

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

You never lose by loving. You always lose by holding back. Barbara de Angelis

It is a great accomplishment today to stay with your spouse or partner because you are happy together. Many married couples stay together often for financial reasons, barely speaking and rarely connecting intimately. Couples that are happy together focus on each other's positive traits rather than their flaws and faults.

I have a true love story for you.

Two years ago a woman, I will call Cynthia found me in a Boulder, Colorado magazine. Diagnosed with breast cancer, she wanted to heal naturally. Cynthia knew intuitively that there was something inside her causing the disease.

We began working together to heal her body. The core of all healing comes from within. Breast cancer comes from several things. There is an underlying refusal to nourish the self, holding onto old hurts, over mothering, overprotection carrying hatreds and deep-seated resentment. For every illness and disease, there is a thought and emotion that came before it that created the issue.

Cynthia and Peter had been married for 25 years. Cynthia was attracted to Peter because he was so different from her father. Her father was a strong, powerful and very successful man that Cynthia worked hard to please. She even attended the university she thought would please her father and received a degree in what was considered a man's profession. She always felt she fell short of making her father happy.

Cynthia was a strong woman on the outside a successful professional, and active member of the community. Cynthia had high expectations and was a perfectionist. Peter was a soft, gentle man, unlike her Dad. Cynthia tried much of their marriage to mold her husband into her father, the man she could never seem to please. Although they had the appearance of success, two teenage children, and a beautiful home, there was a distance and disconnection between them. Sex was a rare event and a chore for Cynthia. Cynthia was irritated by Peter. He was unfocused and ungrounded. She blamed him for much of her discontent and unhappiness.

Over the course of our coaching sessions, we worked to shift the way Cynthia felt about herself. We healed her limiting beliefs and patterns of low self-esteem. We released the trapped emotions that were crippling her. Cynthia began to soften her gaze. She stopped beating herself up for every little thing. Instead of seeing how she failed, she saw her successes. She also recognized that it was her perception rather than the truth that her father didn't love her.

As Cynthia began to look at the positive instead of the negative, everything shifted. She began to recognize her talents, abilities, and gifts. She started to see herself differently. Instead of feeling that she was a failure, she could see her success. As Cynthia looked at herself through the eyes of love, she began to let go of perfection.

As Cynthia saw the benefits of working with me, Peter became a client as well. Working with each of them separately began to heal their personal issues. Cynthia's relationship with her husband began to soften; walls came down. Peter let go of past pain from his childhood and raised his awareness. Each individual working on their internal issues made incredible differences in the way they engaged each other. Their conversations stopped being adversarial and negative. Their love for one another strengthened and grew.

Gradually their relationship improved and so did their sex lives. Instead of being triggered by one another, they took responsibility for their own feelings, recognizing that it came from a place long ago. Instead of wanting time apart they began planning weekends away together.

Instead of focusing on Peter's flaws, faults and how different Peter was from her father, she began to love him for who he was, rather
than trying to change him. Cynthia allowed him to have his experiences in life rather than trying to control or make him perfect.

After our work together, Cynthia has reported to me that she is more in love with Peter now than she ever was. She moved out of her mind and into her heart. Her heart if fanning the flames of the positive attributes rather than focusing on what is missing. Peter opened up in ways he never had been able to before. He had a confidant in me, that allowed him a safe place to vent and gain understanding of himself and his wife.

Commitment to change and grow is all that is needed to save a marriage. When one person decides that they are ALL IN, rather than wanting out, and can let go of the need to control the other, miracles can happen. Rather than living in fear, they have rebuilt trust. When you recognize, there is nothing to fear, Miracles are a breath away, all you need is to decide. Love is always there, sometimes hidden under anger and past hurts.

What Can You Do To Fuel Your Love?

  1. Stop blaming. When we blame someone else for our unhappiness we are not taking responsibility for ourselves. Blame is easy. Taking responsibility takes some maturity and personal growth. Recognize you are not a victim. If you have had past trauma, let's get it healed. It won't go away on it's ow. Believe me I know. It is what I spent 30 years doing.
  2. Look within. If you are getting upset with your partner you are being triggered by a past event. Usually what you are angry about has nothing to do with the other person. Ask yourself, when have I felt like this before? Did it have something to do with your mother, father or someone else?
  3. Get some help. Marital issues can rarely be fixed from within the marriage. In other words, it takes a fresh pair of eyes to see what is really going on.
  4. Be kind. Be kind to yourself and your spouse. Focus on the positive, rather than highlighting the negative. You fell in love with them for a reason. What was it?
  5. Spend quality time together.  Getting connected requires quiet, intimacy and turning off media, television and locking your bedroom door. Avoiding one another does no good and increases the chasm between you.
  6. Love yourself first. If you don't love you, it will be very difficult to receive love from another. Notice do you push hugs away. Do you resent your partners advances? Why not begin to allow love in and fan those flames with kindness, appreciation and generosity rather than anger, acid or resentment. Love is always present we just have to be open enough to see and feel it.

How much does your marriage mean to you? Thinking that the grass is greener on the other side won't get you to happiness either. Until you do the work to heal your patterns, you will continue to
attract similar relationships that don't fulfill you because you don't love and accept yourself. Are you ready to commit to yourself? Are you with me? Do you want to be happy with you and your life? If so, send me an e-mail and let's have a conversation about partnering together to have the happiness you so deserve.

5 Reasons You Need To Know Your Core Values

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Core values may come up in business discussions, but rarely on first dates. If you haven't discussed your core values by your second date or phone call, you could be in for a wild ride and heartbreak. Marriages fail and crime rates rise because people have no idea what their core values are. Without a focus on our values, they weaken.

Knowing what your core values are what each of us needs to have a happy life and long-lasting healthy relationships.

What are core values?

Core values are what is important to you. Core values are not to be confused with hobbies or interests. If you are a spiritually minded person, your core values might include healthy lifestyle, meditation, compassion, truth, respect, love, spirituality and give back. Matching your values with another who has similar core values gives you a greater chance of success in your relationship.

There are core values for business. There are core values for families. Before dating someone a second time, it is important to find out what their core values are. It will save you energy, time, and heartbreak down the road.

Reason #1:
If your core values don't match, you could be wasting your time with someone that doesn't want to get married, have children or has other opposing values from yours.

My List of Core Values

  • Love and respect
  • Loving Communication
  • Commitment
  • Monogamy
  • Spirituality
  • Responsibility/health/happiness/finances

Write Your List

Your list might be very different than mine. That's okay. You are different than me. Sit down with a pen and paper and write your list of drop-dead must haves. In my Love Yourself Fearlessly program, I help people find out who they are, what they want and don't want so they can recognize what they want in a partner. Until you know yourself and what you truly desire, it will be very difficult for you to manifest what you want, because you aren't clear.

Don't Want To Rock The Boat?

If you are afraid of losing the person you are dating by having a discussion about values and spiritual beliefs, you are already on a rocky slope. Your boat is already filling with water; you just don't know it yet. If when you rock the boat someone falls out, they weren't meant to be in your boat with you.

Why You Need To Know Your Core Values

Reason #2:
When you don't know what is important to you, you might search and never find what you desire.

Reason #3:
If you are job hunting, and you know you are an honest person, but choose to work for someone that promises blue skies and dreams but doesn't pay taxes, is a hoarder, holds grudges, doesn't pay his employees on time you will not be happy with your job choice.

Find Out Early

Before selecting a partner for marriage your core values must match, or you will find too many challenges that your marriage fails. Choosing someone that wants what you want gives you a greater chance of success. If you are dating, you could spend months getting to know someone, fall in love and then find you don't have the same desires for a future together. They might want children, and you don't. You might want sex, and they don't.

Talk About Sex First

Too often sex occurs without a discussion before it happens. Sex is an important part of a relationship. Do we wear condoms? Do you have chlamydia or any other STD? Do you have any sexual phobias or perversions?

Reason #4:
You might find out that your partner prefers kink while you prefer vanilla sex. Though you might stretch your rules and boundaries to accommodate their desires early, a steady diet of something you find abhorrent like being slapped across the ass or elsewhere, might prove too much to endure in a marriage or long-term commitment if it isn't what you want. It is best to find out early what type of sexual experiences your partner likes.

Religion and Spiritual Beliefs

Religion can be a touchy subject. For two people of differing religious backgrounds to meld comfortably, both need to either not practice their religion, be open to conversion or completely accepting of your differences with respect and without judgment.

However, religion is a subject you want to broach with a partner you are dating. If you are Buddhist, and they are Christian, even if you have great chemistry, it would take tremendous openness for a Christian partner to understand your mindfulness, meditation or spiritual beliefs. There needs to be respect for each others' differences and a state of allowing for them both to occupy the same space.

Reason #5
Religious differences may take a smaller role at the beginning of a relationship. Sometimes to keep things on an even keel, we may downplay the importance of our spirituality to maintain the relationship with the guy/gal. If one person is Jewish and the other is Christian what religious upbringing will your children have? Even with Catholic and Christian's backgrounds bringing up children can create havoc and discontent when both parties want to raise their children with their religions.  Having a discussion early about religion/spiritual beliefs and practice will save you heartaches and conflict later.

Knowing how important your religion or spirituality is to you is important. Expressing your need to have and practice according to your wishes needs to be an open discussion.

Author's Note:

Even when a discussion occurs, some people lie about what they believe and want. I married to a Southern man who said he had no problem with my work. After we had been married, it became quite apparent not only did he have a problem with it, he disapproved. He hid his strict Southern Baptist and Christian views and dogma from me until after we were married.

I have a close connection with The Divine. I pray and meditate daily. I live in gratitude; I work with God and angels in my healing work. I speak to Guides and spirits. This is a deal breaker for me. You can be the greatest guy in the world but if you aren't spiritual, accepting of my work and beliefs, it's game over!

I believe in authenticity. I am not afraid to ask questions. I stand up for what I believe. I don't keep my beliefs a secret. If I am not open
to having a particular type of sex, I say so. An open discussion ensues when I begin to have a connection with a man before I move forward towards sexual intimacy.

Would You Like To Be Interviewed For My New Sex Book?

By Jennifer Elizabeth Masters

Warning this article contains satire and sexual language.

Sadly over 20 million Americans and who knows how many Russians, Ukrainians, Canadians and other countrymen are living in passionless relationships and unhappy with their sex lives.  I am looking to interview couples and singles that are in sexless or passionless marriages or relationships. If this is you, send me an e-mail. Why the turkey photo? People just aren't boning! And I want to know why?

Couples aren't coupling, and boomers aren't boinking. Rockers aren't rocking, and Yodlers aren't yodling. Is it the fluoride in our drinking water? Has the epidemic of depression and high cholesterol got our nation by the nads? Or is it that feminism has machinated the macho of our men?

The Benefits of Sex

Better than a gym workout and far superior to dancing Zumba, sex burns calories, reduces stress, helps you sleep better than Nytol or Melatonin. Sex is a moving meditation says Deepak Chopra and brings people closer to God than most Christians get at a church on Sunday. Sex is wondrous, invigorating, even enlightening, yet millions just aren't doing it with each other. Why?

Is it because they are polarized by television selections or political debates? Are work schedules keeping marrieds at loggerheads rather than giving head? What percentage are married and in hate rather than in-love with each other? Is anger keeping people from hitting the old hammer and nail? Are men tired of being stand-up citizens? How many of these couples are just sick of looking at each other and wish the other would be hit by a bus?

I have heard from one gentleman who hasn't had sex in over forty years that his wife doesn't like sex.  A Forty years sentence is a loving commitment when the other party isn't sticking by their vows. I know I wouldn't have stayed. Imprisoned in a sexless, loveless marriage for what reason?

I understand that over time the frequency of sex diminishes. What percentage of these marriages is connected, supportive and loving? How much touching, hugging and hand-holding is happening in these sexless marriages? I know I tend to be melodramatic at times, but my senses are telling me that there is not much finger touching going on in these households either.

My Commitment To You

I will get to the bottom of this subject if it's the last book I write. It won't be; I have at least twenty more titles in my head whirling around at night while I sleep. My sense is that this number of passionless marriages would be significantly lower if one or both would get their energy cleared. A morphogenic clearing of the couple together could break this angry incommunicado.

Should you wonder what I was smoking when I wrote this, you should have attended my hypnosis session tonight! Join me next week when our Wednesday night hour is FREE and CLEAR! The subject is ANGER a perfect segue for this article. I share some interesting details on my Wednesday night call that I don't talk about here. Join us next Wednesday.
